The Grey Gargoyle has succeeded where so many have failed - he has DEFEATED IRON MAN! Who can possibly save Tony Stark now? And to make matters worse, Steve Rogers is considering the unthinkable…retiring as Captain America!?
Stan Lee (born Stanley Martin Lieber) was an American writer, editor, creator of comic book superheroes, and the former president and chairman of Marvel Comics.
With several artist co-creators, most notably Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko, he co-created Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four, Thor as a superhero, the X-Men, Iron Man, the Hulk, Daredevil, the Silver Surfer, Dr. Strange, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Scarlet Witch, The Inhumans, and many other characters, introducing complex, naturalistic characters and a thoroughly shared universe into superhero comic books. He subsequently led the expansion of Marvel Comics from a small division of a publishing house to a large multimedia corporation.
giving this 4 stars because OF COURSE steve retires as captain america the second sharon tells him she can't marry him because she's an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. >>>>(>.<)<<<<
Iron Man: 6/10 I'll never get tired of repeating it, Gene Colan is a genius and thanks to him every panel is a joy.
The pace of the story is good with a thrilling cliffhanger. The storyline is quite funny with the interactions between the righteous Jasper and the uninhibited Tony Stark.
Even though tough Grey Gargoyle is not an extremely interesting character, fits good and poses a decent threat. But knowing that after turning his hand to stone, he has to rub over the rest of the body to be all stone, is a subject i keep talking with my shrink yet.
Captain America: 6/10 You know that Captain America is one of the bravest heroes of his time, when he proposes to the girl on their first date, on a break between her spy missions.
Anyway, it is a good story that develops the concerns of Steve Rodgers about trying to find his place, partner and worries as a daily person, and quitting as the iconic super-heroe that everybody expects him to be.
