I was very curious about this cop title with a bad body. It's an entertaining read with a 40-year-old town cop who's struggling to solve a bank robbery while becoming obsessed with a woman.
The chapters flow really fast between different POVs from the cop and the mastermind behind the robbery. I didn't truly understand why she's risking everything by being so close to a cop, yet it feels as a risky, over-the-edge relationship fueled by danger and lust.
A kind of Bonny and Clyde angle on top of a forbidden romance. It's written with a reivindicative style, and maybe a bit crazy with no care for protection in the bed department, yet I enjoyed the sensations the story evoked when Virginia falls in love and the freedom she feels for the first time, how cornered she feels by her choices in life, or the happiness Marshall finds for the first time, too.
Nice and hot read for an afternoon in.

Sweet lord with a cover like this there was only one thing on my mind... I was going to read a steamy and hot as hell book and I wasn't wrong.
As all of you know Kara Hart has a simple, detailed and super hot writing. The way she describes every scene makes us feel like we are in the story, between the characters.
If you don't know what I mean I strongly advise you to read every book from her and then you will understand.
And the way this book started oh sweet lord...

Well I only can say that this book is something else... The way the story unfolds almost got me insane. It's the truth. I was so scared while reading some chapters that I thought that everything was going down the drain.
The suspense is so high that it gave me goosebumps. I was super super nervous. And the hot scenes!!!! Hell yeah they were something else...
The bottom line is that I really loved it, I lived everything from the prologue to the Epilogue.

Marshall tells the stories of Marshall and Virginia and it gives two points of view. Marshall is a police officer and a pretty good one at that. But he has a stubborn side and that is in full effect when he clashes with Virginia.. When he's called to attend to a bank robbery he can't imagine what he's about to get into... Virginia is a burglar who is responsible for a bank robbery that that Marshall is looking into/investigating. Reason for robbing the bank? Money to get the heck out of dodge and away from certain people. She ends up meeting Marshall at a bar and they hit it off when she realizes he is a cop and is investigating the bank robbery. They are both very attracted to each other but Marshall doesn’t know about her double life. There is so much suspense and action…there are twists and turns that take place in this romantic suspense story. Oh and the sex is hot hot hot!! You cant help but getting involved in their story and feel for them both, even Virginia who is the criminal. Marshall is the law and order type man and he is so cocky yet there is a sensitive soul hidden there which makes me want to hug him when he finds the truth out. The ending is beautiful and emotional. I loved it and cannot wait to read whats next by this author. It did leave me, though with a HFN type ending feeling.

This book is a bad boy romance about Marshall who is a very sexy and arrogant policeman who loves to sleep with the ladies. He is working on a case of bank robberies and they are trying to figure out when and where the next one will happen. While working on this case he meets a woman named Virginia in a bar. She is beautiful and they have a lot of chemistry and the attraction is undeniable. Virginia just so happens to be one of the robbers that Marshall is looking for but he doesn't know it yet. What happens when things hit the fan? Will their love stand the test of time and trouble? Will they run or stay? Well to get these answers you are going to have to read the book. It's a very fast read and you may find it a bit slow in the beginning but does get very good and is worth your time. I voluntarily read this book through their ARC program.

Marshall: A bad boy romance is about Marshall. Marshall is a delicious policeman who certainly do not have problems to score ladies. He is working on a big case about a bank robbery when he at a bar meets the beautiful woman Virginia. They are both very attracted to each other and Marshall have feelings for Virginia that he has not had for other women. But Virginia is not the innocent girl she pretends to be. It's a really good book with an exciting action. It was read almost without breaks. I felt with Marshall and felt sorry for Virginia. It was hard to be calm with the exciting ending. Marshall, by Kara Hart, is a bad boy romance with a twist. I loved the characters of Vi and Marshall, they played well off of one another. The story sequences flowed well and kept you waiting for that cliff that you knew they would have to crest and fall over at some point. Beautifully written. I love the different angle this story took in regards to a typical bad boy story.

Marshall is a cop and the guy who never wants for female company. He's the love them and leave them type.
Virginia is a criminal, she's heard of him and his reputation for always getting the bad guys and his prowess with women. She decides to play him at his own game, but things don't always go to plan.
Took a while to get into the story but I enjoyed it in the end and it does have an HEA

She is on the run, this is the last one, she isn't being greedy she needs to get away from this place, go far away and live finally. But that was before she ends up at a bar sulking a bit because the two guys she is in with for these jobs just told her that they need to do another one. UGH! The last one was too close for comfort. In walks a very handsome man, and Virginia just knows this is going to be the end of her. She tries to get away without him noticing, but he did notice her and now it is on.
He is having the longest day ever. He is woken up by his partner and he is next to someone he can't remember and he can't remember what happened. Marshall now done with this day, and decides to do the one thing that helps him, drink. He spots this gorgeous one trying to leave, so he calls her out. Little did he know that she was going to be the best and the worst thing that has happened to him.
He is a cop, she is a bank robber. There is no stopping the spark between them. She does not want anything to do with Marshall. He is all about getting with Virginia. She runs hot and cold, but Virginia decides to take advantage of their time together. She starts spending time with him, and they hook up. She leaves before he wakes up. Just like her is all Marshall thinks. She seems to call the shots, but he craves her like his next breath. Virginia is enjoying still having some control, even though she really is running scared all the time around him. There are a few twists that keep these two and all people involved on the go, in the most exciting and interesting ways.
Then one of the two men get caught, and will only speak with Marshall. He talks and gives the name of the other guy but will NOT give Virginia up. Seeds get planted in Marshall's head by his partner. They go and get the other guy, based off of an anonymous letter sent to Marshall at work. He has no idea it was Virginia who sent it. Now there is more twists that come about. No one could see that Marshall says those 3 words to Virginia in the heat of the moment, funny thing is he totally means them. She says them back, and truthfully means them as well.
Virginia can't live this lie anymore. She feels that if they are going to be serious about and with each other, no secrets, no lies. So she tells him, of course this goes over like a lead balloon. He walks away from her angry and extremely hurt. She is leaving by the docks when jerko partner shows up. Well it just so happens that Marshall catches on to this and goes down to the docks too. Marshall sees the hurtful way his partner is treating HIS Vi (as he commonly calls her) and he will not allow it anymore. Marshall shouts to his partner, and Virginia looks at him. He is pissed and not going to let her be hurt, then there is an interesting development between the two guys, and spoiler alert....Marshall and Virginia leave together.
Their life changes, he is no longer a police officer, she is no longer a bank robber on the run. They are both running and restarting but together. Things for them have started coming together. They get a very enjoyable happy ending. So good!!!

Marshall is a cop, not exactly a good cop but he does uphold the law. He is a womanizer and he is proud of it. Marshall is a bit older then most hero's in books but that is okay, While investigating a string of bank robberies he gets a bit sidetracked by the gorgeous woman he meets in a bar one night, Virginia, The thing between them is instantaneous, Yet Virginia knows who Marshall is she still cant help herself. He is dark and dominating and she loves it. Virginia just needs money to get away from the town she is in and certain people as well. I LOVED how this book played out.

Quite a lot going on in this new story by Kara, Bank robberies and cops looking for those responsible. They nearly get away with it until they do another, even then one could escape. Twists and turns, suspense in this fast paced read. The romance is a bit off and on at times but that is due to him being a cop and her trying to keep from giving herself away and getting arrested. I felt this was a good read and did enjoy it a lot, the ending was a little unexpected though I did think something along those lines would happen. Interesting concept as well figuring out how this would work out.

Kara Hart does it again! How does she keep turning out these bad boy romances...and they keep getting better?

I really liked reading that Marshall a cop falls for a fugitive. Marshall meets his match when he meets Virginia and his life won't be the same. There story will have you reading in 1 sitting and hoping they have a HEA. Good story with great characters.

This was a doomed relationship from the start. She thought she was just going to keep him close and play him. He thought she was just going to be another conquest. Both couldn't have been more wrong. There are plenty of secrets and lies in this book but a happy ending finally shines through. Enjoyable read with some unusual characters.

This book keeps you on the edge. When police officer Marshall falls for the bank robber he's been looking for. Victoria and her 2 buddies have been robbing the local banks. She's risking losing everything including her freedom by sleeping with the police officer assigned to catch her. You definitely have to read this to see what happens.

Another fabulous book from Kara! Marshall the handsome womanising police man meets the lovely Virginia in a bar and can't resist her... unknown to him that she was involved in a robbery case that he is working on! Lots of action in this book and a story of two people falling in love. Great read and highly recommended.

Officer Warren Marshall is tasked with catching three bank robbers. Little does he know the hot chick he's been trying to woo, Virginia, is one of them. I loved this book! Marshall and Virginia are great characters that leave you wanting more. Enjoy!!

I like cat and mouse games. Virginia plays this game in perfection.
This book lives on the opposites of a good and integer cop and the bad bank robber girl who wants to start a new life abroad at any price and falls in love with the good cop, although she is very hard fighting against it.
Marshall is an exciting, amusing and entertaining story one should have read.

This was an okay read for me, I didn’t really connect with the characters very well, and I think the chemistry was off. The story has plenty of drama and suspense and the sex it steamy.

Marshall. This book was so different than I am use to reading. Our hero takes a turn on the dark side because of love. Marshall falls in love with Virginia who he doesn't know is a thief. They became intimate friends. Virginia knew who Marshall was and manipulated him for information. When he discovered who she was, he was sick. It took him a minute but decided to help her.
