Hush is a totally different side to Amanda Maxlyn. I am used to her deep, highly emotional reads and this was totally different. This was a story of forbidden love, a coach and student and to round it off, her sisters ex. These two meet without knowing who the other is, but when all becomes clear, that budding chemistry may be wasted.
This is a book where repercussions are front and centre, risks versus rewards. This is all about the battle and if you want something bad enough you will always find a way to make it work.
I did feel that this felt rushed at times and I would have loved a deeper connection to the characters, but as with any Amanda Maxlyn read I was sucked in none the less with the trope and it didn't disappoint.

4.5-5 stars for me - Definitely was not an emotional read like Amanda Maxlyn's first series; however, if you are looking for a HOT forbidden romance, give this one a try.

After having read the first "book"/novella separately, I was looking forward to reading how the plot would unfold. The writing was good, but overall seemed a little rushed. It felt like a novella and not a complete story. I think this story would benefit from a re-write and expanding the plot line to a deeper level. I would definitely go back and read it again if that happens.
It's still a good read, quick and entertaining - I just think there was more story to tell.

It's a short series so everything moves quickly and there isn't too much else to the plot. I actually didn't read the synopsis before I started reading which I think was a good idea. All I knew was that it was a forbidden romance and while I could figure out one of the ways it was forbidden within a few pages, that last twist was a good one which is given away by the synopsis.
This is one of those instalove stories. I'm not sure why Trey would give it all up for a 20 year old based on 3 encounters. But I wanted something light and straightforward to read and this fit the bill in that regard.

Hush is the first book I have read by Amanda Maxlyn and I really enjoyed it. Amanda is an amazing writing with a true gift for story telling. In Hush she creates the perfect picture to start her story, you feel like you are right there with Emma and later Emma and Trey. Amanda creates extremely realistic characters with a believable story.

Definitely a different direction than WLoM and WLoU, but awesome story line. Kept my interest from beginning to end. Can't wait for what's to come from Amanda.

I expected way more from Maxlyn after reading What's Left of Me. This book felt like an attempt at writing a story. One of many.

Definitely makes you want to buy the series, AND it is totally worth it so far.
I read this story not really knowing what I was getting myself into since I read it blind. And.... I was pleasantly surprised that I LOVED the instant connection but when we find out WHY this is a forbidden romance it sucked me in even more.
Very well written and yeah, I clicked the box set as well!!!
THIS ENTIRE box set was fantastic!! It has a touch of the taboo, LOTS of steam and all the love you can handle!!!
Love knows no bounds and Trey and Emma find out what it takes to keep the one that you love, even when people are against it. If it's meant to be, it's meant to be!!! LOVED it!!!

Loved this! Superb writing made me devour and enjoy every second of this story. I fell in love wth everything about this book, especially the characters. The chemistry between Trey & Emma is off-the-charts HOT. Their passion so strong and intoxicating, it made my heart beat just a little bit faster.
The author does an excellent job at making me FEEL everything - it felt as though I was experiencing it myself.
Plenty of thrills throughout this deliciously sexy read! Do yourself a favor and read this book.

Very good!!!
Trey and Emma met at a party!!! Emma lost her job she was having a sucky day and she moved to be with her sister she met a older guy they almost hooked up. He freaked out she didn't know why the next day she realized it was her sisters ex and her college swim coach!!! Poor Emma!! True love conquers all!!

Absolutely loved!!!
I read the 1st book and immediately had to get the rest of the books. I loved how the story was fast paced and kept you invested in the characters. Definitely can't wait to read more from Amanda Maxlyn!!!
