Trina

I escaped to a small town on the Oregon Coast. My plan—disappear in the ashes of an arsonist’s rampage.

Plans never turn out the way they’re imagined though, and taking on a new patient was not part of mine.

I don’t do male patients. In fact, I don’t ‘do’ men at all. Not anymore. Not after him.

But something about the pain and confusion in Rowdy’s gaze speaks to my heart, stirring my spirit and breathing life into my withered soul. I’ve committed to stay, long enough to help him heal. In return, he promises to protect me, and I will leave a million dollars richer…if I survive.

You see, Rowdy isn’t just any patient. He’s the president of an outlaw motorcycle club. His life is filled with violence and danger, and he has enemies who will risk everything to exact their revenge.

What am I willing to risk to help one man I barely know?

If my past catches up with me, I’ll be dead anyway. So for Rowdy…I’ll risk it all, my heart included.

Rowdy

Discovering my entire life was based on lies, and then almost dying, should have been enough hell for one person to endure. But, in my case, the curve-balls just keep coming.

Busted body parts and a broken brain aren’t making my existence any easier.

The only light in my dark tunnel is Trina, the care provider who tries to hide her natural beauty behind sloppy sweatshirts and a strictly-business coat of armor. Her efforts are commendable, but she’s failing. Her shield is slipping, and I can see behind her tough exterior to the woman fighting to stay alive.

If she can get me back on my Harley, I’ll do everything in my power to protect her. Hell. I’ll do anything to protect her even if I never recover.

She might be a drill sergeant when it comes to her job, but I’ve seen too many tough girls tossed to the wolves and torn to pieces. No wolf will get anywhere close to Trina, not with me blocking the path.

You need to understand…she’s doing more than healing my body. She’s healing my heart.

BEWARE: Rowdy is a standalone, dark romantic adventure that may contain triggers due to violence and sexual situations. The material is for readers 18 and older.

This book features a number of characters from the Scorched Souls Series (Firetrap, Firefight, Firestorm, and Fireworks ) currently available in one volume, Scorched Souls: The Complete Saga . IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO READ Scorched Souls, but you will gain added insight and more detailed background information by doing so.

I love the idea of this book, but there is so much chaos and POVs going on at once that I felt like I was reading a soap opera. There felt like a ton of story lines that ended up converging together, but in some cases I liked knowing what was going on somewhere the main couple wasn’t. It’s supposed to be a stand-alone spin-off, but I felt like I was missing so much.
There were also a lot of vague things where the characters acted like we knew what they were talking about, even hinting at things we should know from other books, but it’s not actually mentioned.
I enjoyed the characters relationships and personalities, along with the lesson the book holds.
I kept reading because the plot truly did keep me intrigued, I just thought it could have been executed a little differently.

Torn.

Have to say I loved the characters and am looking forward to seeing more of them; both main and secondary characters. The primary conflict was also great. I do have to say, I think way too much was happening in this book, though, and I would have liked it even more if the author had just eased up on the amount of bad things that were happening.

This is the first book I have read by this author and now I wonder how I've missed her all this time. Her story telling abilities are amazing and the way she draws you into the characters lives leaves me in awe. I immediately went and bought some more of her books and I'm hoping they are as good as Rowdy.

Rowdy - the president of his MC, caught in the violence overflow from another MC. He, as well as others, are shocked he even survived but he did and now he has to work to get back to where he can be part of his MC again. Thank goodness this sweet gorgeous physical therapist comes along.

Trina - the sweet gorgeous therapist, on the run from a threat to her life. She had thought her life was improving but now she's on the run. She uses her wild card and ends up with a cranky MC president.

Rowdy and Trina make a wonderful couple. Neither are on the lookout for a permanent romantic relationship but isn't that when love finds us?!?

Well, I must admit, I loved this book! Yes...I wrote it. But I feel such a sense of accomplishment. This book was supposed to be released back in 2016, but due to untimely health challenges and the death of my precious mother, it is over two years late. So typing The End felt so good. And I am pleased with the results. Very pleased! I hope you all are too.

This isn't your typical romance, and it's different for an MC book . I'm not giving away any spoilers. You will just need to read!

Thank you everyone for supporting me and this project. Readers kept asking for it, which forced me not to give up in the midst of a very difficult life-season. Happy Holidays! Happy reading!

This book was about the Hells Guardian MC President Rowdy who had been injured due to an explosion and Trina who was a nurse running from her boss/stalker and was given an opportunity to take care of Rowdy and his rehabilitation. Rowdy discovered he had a half-brother that helped him to recover and he is part of the Soul Souls MC. Their was quite a bit of suspense worrying about whether the stalker would catch up with Trina and whether Rowdy after finding out about it could keep her safe. It was a great book, kept me interested, had a happily ever after plus kind of left a clifthanger for possible future books. If you've never read any of this authors books in the past, you should definitely start reading her books, they are very good and I loved this one!

Nope!

In Chpt. 7, Rowdy's in the hospital with an infection. We totally miss how he got it. Is this a quality control issue? What the f#ck? At Chpt. 19 we miss the big pow wow between Rowdy and the bad guys at his house. We also miss Boone coming to save the day. If you think leaving out chunks of the story is gonna endear you to readers, you'd be stupid. The story is decent but it jumps around a bit too much. It's told from several POVs and some aren't anything but filler. There's a lot of filler too. Not interested in reading another train wreck by a wannabe. I get more outta reading a billboard. Hard pass!

Loved the idea of this book and I’d love to be supportive of an author but this book was just not something I could get through. Too much going on that didn’t make sense, the dialogue was rough and the like …. Falling in love and getting married timeline was so fast in a cringy way. I truly loved the idea of the story line, so I’m hoping this author continues to work on their execution and puts out more work, I’ll give them a try someday, but this one just wasn’t it.

So so

Started off okay but quickly became a mess of plots and people that never seemed to get resolved. A nurse working for a doctor who is the devil incarnate but doesn’t do anything to stop other women suffering. Potential to be better but didn’t hit the high notes.
