This series is a ton of fun. I will say it is geared towards a young adult and adult crowd due to suggestive comments, thoughts and dialogue. There are no sex scenes, very minimal language so overall it's a pretty clean. Sara is a 32 year old single mom of a 16 year old daughter. They move to a new town in a house that's haunted and then to top it off she finds out she's a witch. Zara has a very spunky, sarcastic and fun view on life and how she interacts with others. It's a funny fantasy and mystery series. The narrator does an amazing job with the acting, voices and narration of the story. Even better this is a set of the first 3 books so it's also a deal!

Hm, I wanted to love these books, but they were just ok for me. Maybe it was the narrator, I'm on the fence with that.
I might try the physical copies of this series later to see if my take is different.
I did get a few laughs and there were some interesting enjoyable parts. I just couldn't connect with the main character Zara. She had some good traits, but after a bit I'm sorry to say she annoyed me a bit. I felt like even though she was supposed to be the parent, I was listening to the character of a teen instead. I just couldn't get into this series like I wanted, but like I said, I might try the physical book later as I admit I am picky when it comes to narrators for audiobooks.

This is my review of the audio version as posted on Audible:

Usually in a box set you like some books more than others; in this case, however, I can't tell you which one is the best - all three of the books are funny, entertaining, fast-paced and intriguing:)

Zara Riddle and her daughter Zoe move to Wisteria right before Zoe's 16th birthday. What Zara doesn't know is that her family is not a normal one and that the little town of Wisteria is not your average American little settlement... When she does discover that she's not simply a witch, but a 'spirit-charmed' witch, all the fun starts:) From then on Zara has to solve mysteries, learn to control her witchy powers and deal with her own crazy emotions...

All three books have intriguing plots, mixing nicely and smoothly paranormal elements with typical cozy mysteries; they are fast-paced, logical and surprising. The best part, however, is that they are not totally serious - they are quirky, slightly satirical, with a lot of funny references to pop culture (the "paranormal" pop culture, that is:)). I also like the reverse in the roles of mother and daughter - Zoe is the sensible, responsible one while Zara acts like a teenager, with her "act before you think" attitude, cheerfulness and inability to supress her emotional reactions to whatever comes her way...:) But as she is also loyal, loving, and ready to help when needed, she's a surprisingly likeable character.

The secondary characters are as memorable; they are complex, with hidden sides you discover as you follow their stories, and they all have their meaningful place in the plot.

The narrator, Ms Williams, is one of the best narrators I've listened to so far. She does not just read Zara's adventures for us - she IS Zara herself. Her acting skills are so good that the narrative parts sound very personal and believable. And she does voices well, without exaggerating the male ones. Definitely a narrator frome the Masters' League:)

Oh, and one more thing - I liked the audio box so much that I bought the Kindle version of the set, too, and I'm definitely going to read the other two books in the series. That's the best recommendation, right?:)

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.
Angela Pepper is a breath of fresh air! With three full novels in this bundle you get an excellent start to this series which will leave you hungry for more.
I immediately fell in love with the witty, quirky and relatable main characters but was pleasantly surprised that the small town residents who I thought might just be one note caricatures were fleshed out and developed as the series progressed.
Things take a turn for the supernatural and each novel is about a mystery connected to a spirit. The stories dovetail between Zara’sd daily life with her teenage daughter, estranged aunt and hunky neighbor, researching mysteries and learning about her newfound witch powers and it’s all engrossing.
Each story leads into the next and the third explores more of the past, enriches the complexity of certain character relationships and starts shedding light on conspiracies. It felt like an epic conclusion to this package that leaves me wanting the next volume now.
The narrator does a wonderful life breathing life into already lively characters – affecting voices and delivering witty banter so well she makes it sound easy.
If you like humor, heart, paranormal mysteries, small town living or just plain fun, light reading then you’re in the right place.

Wisteria Witches #1-3 (Wisteria Witches Series Bundle Books 1-3) was a great read by Angela Pepper. This set consisted of; Wisteria Witches, Wicked Wisteria, and Wisteria Wonders. Wisteria Witches (Wisteria Witches #1) was a good read by Angela Pepper. Zara Riddle just moved to Wisteria for her dream job as a librarian. Just as quick as they moved in, she and her teenage daughter Zoey are swept in a murder mystery. The twin of Wisteria seems to be full of ghosts and supernatural creatures. In all this craziness they are witches and try to master their powers. Wicked Wisteria (Wisteria Witches #2) was a good read by Angela Pepper. Strange things seem to be happening in Wisteria. It seems like the words keep disappearing from the pages of books. Zara Riddle is a witch and a librarian who wants to find out who stole the words with the help of her witch aunt. Zara finds herself deep in mystical trouble. Chet charges in to save the day but it's a trap. Wisteria Wonders (Wisteria Witches #3) was a good read by Angela Pepper. Zara thinks she has a handle on everything until her friend got zapped into a flamingo. The Department of Water and Magic becomes involved. They want Zara to channel a missing spirit and has to save the love of her life. I enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more in this series.

Overall, each book dovetails into the next. I usually don’t like this. I like standalone stories. Each of these books does resolve the plot line then teases to the next one. I could easily stop if needed between books. Therefore I give this set 4.5 stars.

The narrator, Ms Williams, is fantastic! I could listen to many books by this narrator/reader.
The narrator does a wonderful life bringing these lively characters into three dimensions. She makes it sound easy.

If you like humor, heart, paranormal mysteries, small town living or just plain fun, light reading then this series if for you.

At times it seems as if Zara is still a 16 year old single mom. It's good to see she has enough confidence to remain true to herself in fashion and behavior.

I was given an audio copy of this book set by the author. I am not required to leave a positive review

I was looking forward to reading this book after the synopsis.... I certainly wasn't disappointed at all. It gripped me from the off. I love the relationship between Zara and Zoe, very funny. As it went on the story unravelled and I wanted more. A very talented author and I look forward to reading many more!!!

Really enjoyed this 2nd book. It was extremely gripping plot and the ending I just couldn't stop listening too.... I HAD to finish it. Once finished.... I felt exhausted and gutted and couldn't wait to start the next one. Fantastic style of writing and I look forward to many more!!!

This was a great 3rd book of the series. As the books go on you get more and more gripped. Great plot and I am enjoying learning more and more about each character. Very enjoyable read. I really like how this author writes... humour and drama all in one!!!

Magical Mysteries

I read/listened to each of these three tales individually and was fortunate to have acquired books two and three at the same time, as I was more than ready to continue on my discovery of Wisteria and its colorful and varied inhabitants (I begin to wonder if ANYONE is actually "plain human"). Author Angela Pepper has a strong and clever sense of the ridiculous and, especially as creatively voiced by narrator Tiffany Williams, this series is addicting. Kind of like the baked goods the locals can't get enough of, I found I couldn't stop myself nibbling away at this triple confection.

In the first three stories in this charming series about a town full of paranormals, Zara, the witch librarian investigates the murder of the former owner of her new house, tracks down villains intent on "erasing" people and solves the puzzle of her next door neighbour's fiance's year long coma.
Well written and entertaining, with an abundance of humour and a cast of quirky and lovable characters -not counting the villains of course, these three stories are a great introduction to a delightful cozy mystery series.
I love the economy and convenience of box sets, and this one is well worth the price.

I REALLY love this cute quirky series and all of the characters. I can’t wait to see what they get up to next. So entertaining and vivid. I think Zoee needs to make a bigger leap to the front of the stories..... when will that happen?
The Riddle witches are amazing! Can’t wait for more in the series!
I reviewed each of the 3 stories individually here on goodreads.
I was voluntarily provided this review copy at no charge by the author, publisher and or narrator.

The Wisteria Witch's series is great for lovers of Gilmore Girls, who loves mysteries, and sweet witches. The characters are loveable and the mysteries are so much fun.

A fun and adventurous cozy series with a strong and snarky leading lady. There is progression in each book, with Zara learning all there is to know about the hidden side of Wisteria.
One thing I especially like with this series is that there is no immediate, cut and dried romance, the action is front and centre.

I loved this set! The Riddle family is so fun to listen to. The sarcasm and puns they use through the whole set is witty and funny all at once. There is definitely some mysteries to be solved, but are made so much better with these two characters!
Narration was fantastic! She does the characters personalities perfectly.
I was given a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

This series is a laugh riot! Not only is there no true horror going on, but the situation and verbal banter makes for grand fun. The town is Wisteria and magic of many kinds is the rule there. Zara and her daughter Zoe move there from away, meet Zara's Aunt Zinnia and learn that they are all witches. And the dishy neighbor is a wolf shifter, and other surprises. All good fun and hilarity.
I have the audio, and Tiffany Williams is the narrator who almost manages to keep the equivalent of a straight face!

These first 3 books of the series made me laugh. I usually do not read books of this genre but something lighthearted was needed at this point in time. Characters are funny and in some cases odd, but the story lines kept me interested and laughing through the first three novels. I recommend this author if you are looking for something quirky to read.

Wisteria Witches Trilogy

This was a pretty good book I didn’t figure out who was the culprit, but I don’t know why they are called witches?

A paranormal, funny, laugh out loud romp with totally dysfunctional and crazy characters!

What a crazy laugh out, comedic, paranormal loud roller coaster ride! I loved this book and made sure I had the next two in the series to read right after this one since I didn't want to put it down when I finished. Zara, Zoey and Aunt Zinnia are absolutely insanely fun characters. In this book Zara and Zoey learn a few family secrets while moving to a new town, new house and ghosts???? A must read for nights of fun. I haven't enjoyed myself in a book for a while! I received an ARC copy of the three books in this series. BUT the opinion expressed here is definitely my own! I want more!!!!!!!

This series is very well developed. These are not stand a line books, in my opinion, but that's just me. I am a big fan of this author and this series is at the top of the list with her Stormy Day series. They are witty, fun, filled with characters that are well developed and unique--plus so much more. Well worth reading and keep them coming!!!

Witch Power

The saga of Zara the redheaded witch follows a newly minted witch her development and adventures. I like the smartass humor and snarky dialogue. The characters have good chemistry and the story is very interesting. Zara's power grows as she solves problems and discerns answers to her questions. Will her daughter Zoe come into her witchy power? I look forward to another book.

I was given this for me to give an honest review. I have not read anything by Angela Pepper. I love the wit Zara has and her going for her dreams. These books have three feisty redheads in them. There is Zara Riddle who moves to Wisteria to get her dream job as a librarian. One to come with her new magical powers. Her daughter Zoey who is much like her mother. There is the Aunt who is called Zinnia. The town is fill with all kind of beings such as shifters, ghosts and much, much more. There is also Chet the hunky shifter that is developing feelings for Zara. It is just a sweet series with a bit of mystery thrown in.
