The Billionaire's Virgin

Rate this book
I needed money. He wanted my virginity. So I sold it.
If I don't pay off my piles of debt, I'm going to lose the one thing I care about-- my grandmother. She needs a place to live, people to take care of her, and there's no way I can afford it anymore. But I only have one thing worth any money.
My virginity.
It was a shot in the dark to put it up for auction online. What kind of person would even bid on something as perverted as this?
Pierce Pinewood, that's who.
He outbid everyone right away, making it clear he wanted to win. I was relieved and terrified all at once, but I figured it was fine, we'd just sleep together and I'd go on my merry way.
So why, even after meeting me, is he waiting to claim his prize?
Pierce is exposing me to money, glamour, a life I never dreamed of. He's also telling me what lingerie to wear... and what to do with the parts of my body no one is allowed to see. No one but him.
I thought I was selling him one night with me.
I couldn't have guessed how much of me he really wanted.
This is a standalone novella with a HEA and NO cheating!
Penny Wylder writes just that-- wild romances. Happily Ever Afters are always better when they're a little dirty, so if you're looking for a page turner that will make you feel naughty in all the right places, jump right in and leave your panties at the door!

So clearly I'm of a different opinion because of all of the 5 star ratings but, this was just ok for me. Although I have read books with this storyline in the past, I didn't feel a connection between the main characters until about the 90% mark. Up to that point, they had done done stuff sexually, but didn't actually have sex until almost the end of the book.

The story was from Bonnie's point of view so you don't get any insight into Pierce's thoughts or feeling (until the epilogue) He came across as an arrogant workaholic. You are not given any idea why he was cruising the sight looking for a virgin but a comment led me to believe it wasn't the first time doing it.

Bonnie was young (19) and desperate to earn money to pay for her grandma's care. Selling her virginity was the best she could come up with on short notice. She was offended during one part when he asked her to leave and she felt he was treating her like a whore - well, I hate to break this to you but........

There was a mediocre epilogue that was not very far into the future

I am a fan of this author but it was just off the mark for ME....

The sex scenes are steaming hot, intense and erotic. The intensity of the writing in the scenes of h and H's passion is exquisite and you will have to put your book down and fan your self because it is that steamy.

Well, this was far better than expected. I even know why. Let's put it this way: There's far more of "virginity" aspect to it than "billionaire...ity" kind of thing. Which only adds to its believability. Probably because, in my case, I have better chances of somehow becoming 18 year old female virgin than billionaire. Not sure what's that saying about me. Will update if I ever find out.

I usually like penny wylder's books, I really do, but this one's a complete miss for me!
I just couldn't connect to the book or feel for it.
OTT alpha hero who bought a virgin from a website (somebody tell me he hasn't done this before) is just icky. No! NO! Fucking No! And it seriously sounded like he's a daily visitor on that site! Yuck!
Then throughout the whole book I only got the vibe of him treating his "whore just a little kindly".
I am sorry for my language but the synopsis suggests he wined and dined her but to me it was more "Pretty woman" but that means at the end of the day, she was still a whore, just treated better.
Then there was the heroine, who decided to sell her virginity online and then was shocked when she felt that she's being treated a lot like a whore....well sweetheart, if the shoe fits!
Also I find the ending rubbish, it still feels like she's kept by the hero (if not as his whore) and there was absolutely no promise in the epilogue.
Couple of lines inside the OTT alpha male's head about "belonging to her" is not really a promise.
So sorry, this is going down on the 1 star pile!

This book is satisfyingly erotic with a touch of suspense, miscommunication and true love. Add in the adventurous Gram to increase the drama a notch and what you have is a delightfully dirty read satisfying to imagination, heart and body...uhm err...I mean soul. Yeah that's it!

I enjoyed it.
I love stories like this with the girl being bough or something of that kind. Is that weird of me? It's not like I'm wishing that it will ever happen to me.But I really enjoy reading such things.

But this one annoyed me a bit.
Like seriously if you want to take a girl in the ass you need to stretch that thing.. That I learned in other books, but in this one it wasn't even needed. Is it needed or not? I'm never trying so I'll never know.

And obviously she is a virgin and still he likes naming her dirty slut and all. Okay, Okay, Okay it has nothing to do with actually being a slut or not it's kind of dirty talking. But to me it was annoying like hell.

Still I enjoyed it and I would say give it a shot. My view of this books isn't the same as yours so if it looks like fun to you I would recommend it.

This has a “virgin” who is getting off on selling her v-card and can’t stop waxing poetic about her vibrator. Not what I was expecting from the virgin auction trope. 😅. #notforme ✌🏻

Hey, I didn't learn about the deeper meaning of life or see a unique take on romance, but I did get my rocks off and it was a super super naughty story.

There were a few moments of my needing to suspend reality, but when you buy a book called The Bllionaire's Virgin. . .haven't you already agreed to suspend reality.

Good read. Good time. I'm going to check out more from her.

“You asked me my name. It is Pierce. But that is not how you will address me. You will address me as ‘sir’. Is that clear?”

I perked up. I love me a good BDSM. You know, take your time with it an all. Some duct tape, work your way up to a good old fashioned gag and then slowly, or quickly, bring on the hurt. If you’re going to be calling him sir, then expect to be tied up, baby! There were NO whips. There were NO chains. As for the hurt - virgin getting pounded in the exit hole, hard and fast, that’s gotta hurt right? Well, Bonnie’s took it like a champ. Loved it like a champ. Good for her, but honestly, I’m not buying it!

That’s not to say the sex wasn’t steamy. It wasn’t BDSM steamy, but every once in a while a pulse twitched out of control. So outside of the fact that there was always someone to ALMOST be doing the dirty in front of (red headed wax-magician walks in while she’s flicking her bean, waiter walks in while she’s eating his cream, waiter number 2 walks in while she’s about to eat some more cream…you get the gist) we’ll say this book could light a match or two. But I like my eroticas (especially when they’ve garnered a gang of 5 star reviews) to have some kind of a story. And I like thinking that an author is invested enough in her tales to want me to believe them. There were so many inconsistencies my head was spinning like a damn windmill.

Dear old grandma was a nurse.
“She’s the reason I decided to become a nurse. Trailing around after her at the hospital was where I fell in love with the idea of helping to care for the sick.”

description

“She was one of the first female pilots hired to work a major airline ever.”

description

And maybe I’m just petty, but seriously. If you’re going to claim to know how to spell it. Then SPELL. IT. CORRECTLY.
“Then I catch a glimpse of the brand and freeze in shock. Loubotain? I may not have known exactly how to spell that until this very second. YOU STILL DON’T KNOW HOW TO SPELL IT NOW AT THIS VERY SECOND.

But let’s just say all of that is excusable. I can get over it. Really, I can. Unfortunately, the thing that really irked me was that there was just no real storyline. Sure, the sex was there, the premise was promising. But nothing else. So much more could have been done with this story. I wanted to know these guys. More importantly, I wanted the characters to get to know each other, to have a reason to fall in love. Cutting out the unnecessary conversations with the roommate would have helped. Giving Pierce some depth would have helped. Giving them some form of common ground would have helped. Unfortunately there was none of that. And to top it all off, this man promised to pay her for her virginity (“for every virginity she has”). And that’s exactly what she went off of- a promise. There was no down payment. No contract. Just a promise in the wind and she decides that her rear-end is free for the taking. I mean, I guess it’s just as well. He did offer $500,000 to someone who promised she was a virgin (but took anal like a pro) and he required no proof of said virginity.

Another great PW read... and I'd go as far as saying that it's probably one of my favourites of hers so far.

The premise is one I've not read a lot of, surprising given how much smut I've read, and I really enjoyed it. A twist on the uber-wealthy guy, struggling for money girl, with a 'Pretty Woman for the new millennium' vibe almost.

Now speaking of vibes... that right there was a whole other level of hotness!!! I'd give Pierce the remote control to mine any day... but I digress.

Bonnie is likeable, relatable, funny & sassy. She's down to earth, hard working & has a heart of gold - I mean, how else is she going to snag the jaded workaholic billionaire...

Pierce is demanding, dominant & sexy as all giddy up. You spent most of the book curious about his back-story, but it doesn't stop you from panting after him, his filthy mouth & exhibitionist antics. Oh yeah, he's that guy.

There was plenty - and I mean PPPlenty - of heat, sizzle & chemistry, but also some great LOL moments, and a few heart touches too.

The only thing that stopped me from rating this a 5 star read, was the ending.
For me, it read differently to the rest of the book & it felt like it changed genres from an erotic romance book to contemporary romance book.

As a result, while I liked the ending, I just felt a little "awe, that's sweet" rather than feeling hot, bothered & fanning myself as I usually do with the last few pages of a Penny Wylder book.

Penny Wylder has definitely swept us off our feet again with The Billionaire's Virgin. We are on a journey with Bonnie as she put's her virginity up for sale on a site in order to pay for her grandmother's care and school. Bonnie has no idea the response she has till the next day and has 372 notification. One sender get's her attention at $500,000.00 and so Pierce enter's her life. Pierce is a workaholic and of course our alpha male who wines and dines Bonnie. When will the deed be done? Bonnie and Pierce showed undeniable chemistry from the moment they met. The Billionaire's Virgin is a sweet and sexy love story that will leave you wanting more.
I received this ARC in exchange for a honest review.

Odd really how you find your true love on a sell your virginity website. However it was a good story so I feel it deserves 3.5 stars at least. It had a good romance story to it.

I've read very few stories with this theme, a girl selling her V-card to the highest bidder. They're usually interesting and highly exciting. This one is that and, luckily, fun and intriguing, too.

The girl, a nursing student with a Grandmother with health issues, sets herself up for auction in a funny, unorthodox way. And the subsequent steps tumble down in a captivating fashion.

The man in question has very strict stipulations to get his prize, so the dialogues between them end up being provocative. The final deed is reached only after very tantalizing scenes. And I mean that! Electrifying, wet-hot, dirty scenes of very intimate nature.

This mystery man likes to torment his innocent, but smart purchase with pleasure and dominance. Get ready to get panting!

I was pleasantly surprised with how good the story actually is. Luxurious seduction, a secret identity, soulful conversations, a kick-ass granny, and insanely hot encounters. This is one of the best stories written by this author and I've had the best of times reading it :-)

I don't know how she does it but Penny some how manages to get better and better with every book.
I know I can't believe she can beat perfection either but she manages it some how.
This is a fantastic 5 star book you will love to curl up with and spend a few hours reading.
I really enjoyed the storyline of this book and I love the dynamic between Bonnie and Pierce and I especially enjoyed reading them fall for each other without them knowing.
Feelings are crazy sometimes and it takes really opening your eyes to see what you actually need.
They fit together, crazy well.

I needed money. He wanted my virginity. So I sold it.
This book started off good but unfortunately it didn't take long for that to change, don't get me wrong the sex is scorching hot and there is plenty of it but that is all there is. The story line becomes lost somewhere in the back ground and filters off to being non existent and there is just no chemistry between the characters. You kind of have to guess the back ground of the characters and by the time you do that the book has ended abruptly.

Total nope for me. Pierce was a jerk, Bonnie was a wimp, the "relationship" was ridiculous and the word slut was used way too much. The saving grace was it was well written and the sex scenes were hot, but overall, I am not feeling this one.

**3.5 Stars**

Bonnie has two issues she needs taken care of, and thanks to a somewhat joking suggestion from her friend, Erin, she may have found a way to do both at once. Bonni's Grandmother, the woman who raised her since she lost her Mom at the age of eight, is sick and needs some long-term, expensive, help and the only thing Bonnie truly has of any value is her virginity. So she impulsively decides to join a "dating" website that pairs rich men looking for younger women.

When Bonnie checks her profile, she's shocked by the numerous offers she's received, though she deletes some immediately, one man in particular stands out and soon they're video chatting. It's quickly apparent to Bonnie that he has the quality she's been craving...dominance. Soon, she and Pierce are going on "dates" and he's teaching her about her own sexuality, all the while tempting her with what he plans to do to her. However, as more time goes by, Bonnie is becoming impatient, and it's not simply due to needing to pay her Grandmother's medical bills.

When a situation arises, causing Pierce to essentially push her away right after sharing an intimate moment, Bonnie is no longer sure of what's happening between them, and why, of it's only a business arrangement, his actions hurt so much. She never once imagined that Pierce is unsure of himself in regards to her and doesn't want their time together to end.

What happens when two people make an arrangement, strictly business, but both begin to crave more? Is Bonnie's Grandmother going to recover? Will Pierce and Bonnie ever complete their contract? Or will Pierce want a different kind of commitment instead? Is their a future for this couple? Or will they part ways once both ends of the contract have been completed?

One-click now and find out how business can easily become pleasure when the right people become involved.

On a side note, I wish we would've gotten Pierce's point of view. I think it would add considerably to the story. Also, as he's talking with Sophie, again this is a scene where his POV would be handy, we get the impression this isn't his first time purchasing a woman from the site, and yes, this is purely a personal preference on my part, but I did not like that.  It could've made the situation so much more special if when he saw Sophie that it was his first time visiting the website. Otherwise, it seems to cheapen, yes, I know how ironic that sounds considering the book's premise, their experience, even though they do quickly fall in love and have a future together. I feel it would've add more depth to the story if he decided to search the site, hoping to find the one meant for him, due to having little to no time to find the right woman for him because of his workaholic tendencies. Therefore, making both he and Sophie first time users of the site, but as it's written now, it lessened my enjoyment of their journey.

Now with that being said, I did enjoy the story overall and the scenes between Pierce and Sophie were indeed sexy. I enjoy this author's work and will continue to read her, however, I wish this one had been a little different.

Desperately needing a huge amount of money , she created an account on a website where ladies sell their virginity for a price. She expected it to be a one-time deal, finally get rid of her v-card, and then pay off all her mountain-load of bills and debts . But she didn't expect that the highest bidder would not only be filthy rich but sinfully handsome. And he wanted to take his time..

THE BILLIONAIRE'S VIRGIN is a super hot billionaire romance about a woman who found a sexy as sin billionaire online who not only bought her virginity , but also swept her off her feet with his special brand of romance. This book was really good! I loved the characters , even the secondary characters , especially Grams whose nuggets of wisdom about love and letting go was relatable and absolutely spot - on ! I only wished this book was longer, because I didn't want it to end !

I have read and received an advanced copy of this book and this is a fair and honest review , voluntarily shared.

Meh :/

The book is ok. However, I don't know how other people define the virginity .. for me, a gal who has played herself with a dildo isn't really a virgin. If the author wants to display a virgin, it should be one who has no experience what so ever with a dick or an artificial one. And the virgin seems too eager that it's hard to believe she really is a virgin.

I although gave this book a shot because the sex scenes in the beginning of this book is hot. However, the author seems to drag on and in about actually having sex, (I mean front door) and it wasn't until the end of the book. At that time, the scene doesn't even interest me a bit anymore and I was continuing to read that point only because I don't wanna leave a book unfinished.

The previous book I read of Penny Wylder is "Her dad's friend" and that was a sweet, fun one. I hope I can see more works of her in that way.

Wow, this was a departure from the last few Penny Wylder books I've read! They've all been hot, but this goes to a whole new level!
Bonnie is desperate for cash to keep her grandmother in the care facility she needs. On a whim she signs up to an online site offering her virginity to the highest bidder. She quickly catches Pierce's attention, and there's no doubt he's making the rules and setting the pace, though their bargain ends up being so much more than either expected.
This was a fast and easy story...steamy and graphic, sexy yet sweet. A really enjoyable read!

What do you do when you need money fast??Of course you sell your virginity - even though Bonnie was sure she did the right thing by posting an ad on a website she couldn't resist 500k offer by a drop dead gorgeous man..what starts out as a business transactions quickly turn in a HEA...the only thing that bothered me was they proclaimed their love after only knowing each other for a week but hey that's why it's called fiction!
