I’m not someone who typically likes puzzle books, but I have never encountered puzzles like Roger’s cave puzzles. The joy (and challenge) of completing this book involves the self discovery of many varied techniques and insights. The puzzles are often surprising and there’s a clear increase in challenge over time. The process of solving this book feels like inventing mathematics and I’m sad it’s over! (Note the 2.5 years elapsed in the start and finish date!)
