Somewhere Down the Road

This collection of poetry began as a journal that Debbie Kitchings had kept for a number of years. From childhood on, her life revolved around the beauty of nature, country friends who watched out for each other, a close family, and many pets that were part of the family. She has devoted much of her life to children who have come through her life whether in public schools or summer Bible schools. The poems were inspired by the people who have touched her life, the moments that have made lasting impressions, and the lovely world that God created. They reflect the deep love of family, friends, music, animals, and nature. Although these moments were hers, their message is so universal that they touch a chord deep within all of us, for we all have walked simple paths such as hers that will be a part of our souls.
