These books will be of special interest to Montessori teachers or trainee teachers, acting as a support to, but not as a substitute for, Montessori teacher training. At the Heart of Montessori series provides a thorough and easy-to-follow explanation of Maria Montessori's philosophy and educational method for all ages from birth to adolescence.
A great introduction to one of those buzzy topics that sound interesting, but you don't really delve into until it's necessary. This little beginner's guide is a quick and easy read, and offers some (at least to me) fascinating details on development.
I found myself already applying the concepts explained in these pages to a variety of topics ranging from education, to work, to those fun little personality tests we all take on social media from time to time.
Another great aspect to this series, the author recommends parents/educators/guides for children of any age to read the first two books, but then you can jump to the particular age group most relevant to you/your area of interest. Ready to jump into book two shortly.
