Author, Naturalist and Farmer Herbert Guthrie-Smith changed the landscapes of Tutira into the beautiful place it is today. "Tutira...The story of a New Zealand sheep station" takes you through Guthrie-Smiths extensive work with soils, sheep, environmental issues, bird photography and preserving Tutira to become the environmentally aware place it is today. Good read for anybody from Hawkes Bay or NZ in the Agricultural industry.
