This was a very promising read. I was going to give it 5 stars, but everything went to hell in a hand basket for me nearing the end of part 2. Things were just too easily forgiven and resolved for me to stay connected to the story.
Married A Stripper is a good collabo with MS Parker and Cassie Wild. Piety Van Allen wakes up in Las Vegas and she doesn’t know what happened the night before except she is in bed with a man…who happens to be a stripper. She doesn’t remember how they came to end up in bed but she finds a ring on her wedding finger and then finds out she married a hot Australian named Kaleb the night before. She was in Vegas with her BFF Astrid she at least knows bits and pieces of why and how it went down. Kaleb is every bit as shocked as she is and he is upset—he needs to get to work ASAP to get money home to Australia and His new job happens to be as a stripper! Piety’s father is going to be soooooooo mad—thing is, he is a big wig in the US Government and he is trying to marry her off to someone of their choosing. Piety makes a deal with Kaleb to stay in their pretend marriage but can they keep their marriage pretend or will they succumb to passion and make it more real? There are many twists and turns that happen thru the book and hinder this couple. There were some dangerous bits but Kaleb is a good man who loves his family and would do anything for them. He is sexy and alpha—when he really gets a good luck at Piety, he is struck dumb at her beauty and intelligence. Piety didn’t think she would ever find someone to love her for her or care about her for who she was, but here is Kaleb –their chemistry is hot and intense. This is one hot read and I definitely cant wait to see what these authors have next up their sleeves.
My rating: 4.5 stars **** "I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book in exchange for an honest review***
Blurb: I should have known that going to Vegas with Astra would cause more problems than it solved, but I never imagined that her latest scheme would completely change my life.

Just from the name, I was expecting a cute/sexy read that was all fluff and no substance. I couldn't have been more wrong. There was a good plot with a lot of grit. You really feel for Kaleb and Piety. I liked it well enough that I bought the other two books in the series.
Uh oh… repeating POVs. Oooh it’s just like reading fanfiction. Why employ him? You already married him. This makes no sense… uh oh. One minute they are going to Philadelphia and the next, they’re back in the casino. There is a weird scene at the airport where Piety gives all her money to a girl. I guess this is supposed to show how generous she is… but it doesn’t work. After sex twice with condoms it’s now time to go without. [Write condom sex/safe sex or don’t, but don’t do half and half.] If getting married to him was supposed to upset your parents, then divorcing him three days later is a complete waste of time and effort. You’ve just proved your parents were totally right; you’ve exposed the relationship as fake, everything you’ve said to them will be ignored now, and your life will get infinitely worse. It’s stupid. Give it a good three to six months at least. [and then he can get a goodly chunk of your assets, with no prenup.]
But I won’t be buying part 2 to find out. And he’s a stripper for about a millisecond… so that’s annoying. 2 meh stars
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book One sexy deep voice, big blue eyes.. and that's just for starters. Not the usual thing Piety Van Allen wakes up to in her bed. Plus he's naked as well. Whoa !! What did he do last night!! Kaleb is looking at the most beautiful woman ever. Married, they got married. A really good story about two people for different reasons marry in Las Vegas. It was a nice change that they were both good people, no kinks or hang ups. Only one secret, Kaleb needs money for Camry. A story that not just turns out to be a random marriage, they learn to care for each other and a darker side emerges that only Piety can help Kaleb with. Lots of surprises, sex, big family issues, blackmail and maybe a little something extra. Really enjoyed this as it turned out to be even more than I expected.
This was a great read. I really enjoyed it. All the characters kept things interesting. To say the least. There was a bonus book, " Pure Lust" but I've already read it
There were a few mistakes and grammatical errors. If I were your editor I would have you fix them before it got into kindle or print. Those mistakes are forever. Too bad. Would have loved to give storyline five stars but could only give it four for the blunders. Good luck next book. Which I got. L.A. Misbehaved.
A good interesting storyline, Kaleb has come over from Australia to find his little sister who has got herself into a serious mess, the only way he could do it was on a work permit as a male stripper he had to give up his hopes and dreams back home. Piety is a very wealthy woman with very influential parents who constantly try to organise her life. In an attempt to annoy them and whilst very drunk she meets Kelab and marries him. The chemistry between these two is red hot and it does not take them long to fall in love. Unfortunately his sisters life very much impacts upon them and causes a great deal of trouble. This story highlights not only the impact drug addiction has on the addict but how badly it also affects those that care about them. Its a really enjoyable book that covers many issues and really makes you realise the difficulties addicts face. Great read.
this was a new author for me and I do like her writing the flow of the book and the banter between the characters. Their is a lot of romance but also adventure and love and not just between the two main characters but between friends as well.
This book was about piety and Kaleb What started as a get away from work and family ends up in a plot to get her parents off her back end up as a story of love.
Piety and Kaleb wake up not sure what happen the night before but find they are married and with the help of Piety's best friend Astra they find out they got married and she helps her friend to realize how to use this to her advantage and also help Kaleb out.
Kaleb was working as a stripper trying to raise money to help his sister who was a druggie and who owes monkey to a dealer.
Both plans do not go as planned but in the end they find what they both were looking for but didn't know it Love
Piety and Astra go for a getaway trip to Vegas. A little too much partying finds Piety waking up with Kaleb in her bed. Piety is a Senator's daughter and she and Astra both come from wealthy old money families. Kaleb is an Aussie stripper with Flames Down Under. Piety sobers up as she figures out she and Kaleb are married. Astra makes the suggestion that they stay married to get Piety's parents off her back. Kaleb needs the money she offers so they set off to convince her family she is in love. This is a fun story about two strangers falling in love despite all the obstacles presented to them. The romance is hot and steamy, the characters are well developed and very likeable. And as a bonus you get about half of Astra's story included at the end. I jumped right in to book two when I finished this one.
What is a spoiled rich girl to do when her parents try to pair her off to someone they think she should marry? Why go to Vegas, get drunk and marry a male stripper from Down Under, of course! She wakes up in bed with him not remembering what happened. But....he is hot!
They make d deal to a pretend marriage to make her parents unhappy. Only will the marriage stay pretend? Piety and Kaleb each have their own issues that complicate the marriage, pretend even though it is.
Good story. A little issues with the time line in a couple of places. The complete series is in one column. Originally published this way, not as a serialized story. I would have liked it as a singly book without the column interludes. It would have flowed better.
MS Parker and Cassie Wild have given us a whirlwind of a story , Married a Stripper is a great book, and the best part is that you get all three parts of the story in one book without having to wait for the next book after the cliff hanger endings in book one and two.
Piety wakes up in Vegas, hungover and in bed with a man, a man that her best friend Astra tells Piety that she is married too, and too boot he was sent to head on tour with the Thunder from Down Under, a male stripper troupe. Piety sees this as bad till she realizes it may help her with her parents so she decides to pay Kaleb to stay married to her to get her parents off her back. Kaleb does it just to get the money to help his stripper/drug addict sister.
But as with any "fake relationship" there are many ups and downs along the way, and what happens when both Piety and Kaleb get what they need from the relationship and its time to head their separate ways???
Love when MS Parker and Cassie Wild team up and write an amazing book
This story wasn't the best. I gave this a book a try when I got this book for free on Kindle. I enjoyed the relationship between Piety and Kaleb and I loved the best friend Astra. I read this story because I wanted an easy read but it was hard to get through because it stressed me out more than I thought it would. One thing I also enjoyed was the whole "fake husband and wife, until they fall in love" situation that happened. I definitely enjoyed the first half more than the second half of this book.
Married a Stripper, was another fabulous collaboration between M.S.Parker and Cassie Wild. It had me hooked from chapter one. Kaleb was not only a brother to his sister Camery but a father after the death of their parents years ago. Now, he is forced to face the harsh reality of having a drug addicted sister. How will he be able to protect both his sister and Piety? And in an instant finds out he is going to be a dad...
This was a good little story. Very passionate and unapologetic about the love shared between Piety and her man. There were levels of depth to the characters which I loved about the writing. It was an honest story about two people who never planned on feeling each other. Even the supporting characters were great. I liked this so much that I immediately bought the second one after completing the first. As I said, well done.
I listened to the audiobook and thoroughly enjoyed it. One thing I must say though is if the Australian accent is so hard to mimic hire an AUSTRALIAN. They are not such a rarity that a suitable on could not be found. The female narrator did not do an Australian accent often but when she did it seemed fine. The male however sounded like some strange mix of Australian, New Zealander,South African and American. BUT aside from the accent he did a great job.
Very captivating and I barely could put it down every time I had to I myself knows what a love like this is , and how it is to figure out who u are and what it is to love yourself and be needed by a man and that spark that u feel is like lighting. VERY GREAT BOOK! Married to a stripper was also AWESOME. KEEP UP THE GREAT WRITING
Piety & Kaleb have a sexual chemistry that could burn the scales that one would use to measure it. Parker & Wilde have a perfect writing partnership, the writing partnership is smooth and effortless with its flow. Ready for the next. BTW, the only reason I hate series's is the cliffhanger, I could do without those.
This did not turn out to be the light hearted book I was expecting, but rather a sweet and tender love story between two people who weren't looking for it but found it anyway. Lovely characters, great writing, a sweet romantic storyline, definitely a recommended read.
WOW!!! Totally unexpected, and better than expected...
Like the old saying,"never judge a book by its cover" hits the mark with this book. Ok, so she did marry a steamy hotness stripper, but the story has so much more!!! The writing style makes you feel emerged into a dramatic romance as if you were experiencing it first hand. Bravo authors, bravo!!!
A great story line with easy to like characters. An easy attraction by mistake so to speak, and parents interfering causing all kinds of trouble. It was kind of quick to get through that was a little disappointing.
A second book for the supporting character that was part one and gripping enough to draw me in.
I loved this series. When Kaleb and Piety decided to play house they didn't think of the consequences. Will Kaleb's troubles disappear with money? Can Piety help her gorgeous fake husband?
Comedy, romance, steamy sexy time and a bit of angst made this a fantastic series! A great read.
What a fun series!! Another winner from M.S. Parker!! Piety & Kaleb are so much fun, from the very 1st page!! The banter and humor between the two is so fresh & exciting. Astra, the best friend is a ton of fun & excitement. There is not much better than a sexy Aussie who is sweet as can be!!
I really wanted to like this book and high hopes. After the first few chapters it went downhill. Its very vague and lacks depth. There isnt much character buildup esp for emotion so i didnt feel the connection, this is probably due to it being a short story at 33% it ends.
I enjoyed reading about Piety and Kaleb. Their journey was something everyone could relate too, from Piety having to put up with her parents interfering with her life. Kaleb trying to help his sister get her life cleaned up. I recommend this book.
