The few pages before the box are about "Mischief Makers around the world. anything you have heard before are untruths. We're really not bad. We keep your life interestin! Next time you're missing a sock or your computer doesn't work, think of us. We are sure to be near! And if you don't believe that we are real, beware!" The pages have several "lift the flap" features, and a couple envelopes with items in them.

i have learned that it takes alot of mischief powers and goblin goods to seek out the mischief makers and this book comes with items you can use and and and! also i have set up a trap by my washing muschine and perpously put one red next to all the whites and hoping a mischief maker would come next i set up a cage that would trap the thing in it what ever lifted the sock and one night i heard a bam coming from the basement so i ran down there and discovered the trap was set off and the only thing left was little dusty foot prints that let out the window! and that is my mischief .... TRUE! story
