“I only know how to use fear and violence to make people behave the way I want them to.”
“He’s a thief who stole something much more precious than ever before—my heart. I never dreamed in a million years I could fall in love with the son of my mother’s killer.”
“I’m straddling two worlds. Love versus hate—and I’m not sure which is stronger.”

“I don’t know how to kill the woman I love.”

“For eighteen years, every aspect of my life has revolved around retaliation in one form or another.”At the age of 26, after spending years studying the Fellowship, a Scottish organized crime brotherhood, led by the man she believes to be her mother’s killer, she resigns from her position as Special Agent in the FBI, to put her plan into revenge action.
I’ve watched him from afar for years. And he has no idea. I take joy in that.

“… it’s all about the right move at the right time—pacing and patience. I’ll read his emotions and body language to know what needs to come next. A necessary sin what tonight is.”
“I knew there was a possibility I might have to get into bed with the enemy, but I had no idea I’d be this electrified about doing so.”She never imagined the emotions she would feel towards Sin.

“We’re very much like a flame in the wind. We danced and burned brightly but one large gust and we’re extinguished.”

“Into me … you see,”
“Telling him I intended to hunt and execute Thane Breckenridge was the straw that broke the camel’s back.”
“Rule number ten: it’s all about the right move at the right time—pacing and patience. I’ll read his emotions and body language to know what needs to come next. A necessary sin. That’s what tonight is.”
“I love you, Bleu MacAllister. I’ll always do what it takes to keep you safe, no matter the extreme.”
“He didn’t kill my mother but he’s the spawn of the man who did. I’m supposed to be sickened by his touch, so why am I desperate to have more of it?”
My dreams weren't of becoming the doctor to discover the cure for cancer or becoming the first female president; they were consumed by dark, vengeful thoughts.
I knew there was a possibility I might have to get into bed with the enemy, but I had no idea I'd be this electrified by doing so. It makes me feel dirty. But I like it. And I shouldn't.I loved the main characters in this story. They quickly made a big impact on me and I can see Bleu and Sin easily becoming one of my favourite book couples by the end of the series. Bleu was a fierce, feisty, kick ass heroine. I loved this girl from the very beginning. My heart went out to her and I could completely understand her need for revenge. I loved watching Bleu change from a trained killer out for retribution into a women who was head over heels in love. It was a joy to see how Bleu was so happy with Sin. The only downside was that I found it impossible to fully relax as I knew that their happiness was sure to be short lived. There was no way that this couple were going to get a happy ending. Not when she was involved with someone as deadly as Sin Breckenridge.
I'm supposed to be sickened by his touch, so why am I desperate to have more of it?Sin was the perfect combination of light and shade. Danger surrounded him, he was a man that oozed risk and dynamite but he also oozed sex and deliciousness. Underneath his darkness was a man who could sweep you off your feet, he sure did me! I loved how Sin reacted to Bleu. She turned his world upside down. He was a man who did not chase women but where Bleu was concerned he was prepared to run a marathon. How could Bleu resist? Sin fell hard for Bleu and I swooned with delight at how he cherished and protected her. He made my heart flutter. Underneath all that danger stood a man with a man with a heart of gold. Sigh!!
He's a thief who stole something much more precious than ever before-my heart. The story itself, although a little predictable, pulled me in and captivated me throughout. It was exciting, passionate and frightening. My heart was in my mouth and my stomach was churning as I feared what would happen to Bleu and Sin. I had a very bad feeling about this story and I dreaded the end. Not only did this book leave me with a painful cliffhanger but I was also suffering from a major book hangover. I need it to be February for more than just the Fifty Shades of Grey movie!!! LOL.
"We're going to be volatile. We should prepare now for this to end badly."
"We're damned from the start."
