Toby and Walter, second-string Edison sophomores, are just along for the ride. This book in my opinion was actually pretty good it's about a guy that plays football and the best players on the team got in trouble and now the team is really worried about how they are going to play the game. Since all the senors are gone the second stringers have to step up and play the game.

I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for a review.

Long time rivals middle class Edison High and upper class Winfield are soon to face each other in the state football championship. The days leading up to the game are full of rapidly escalating pranks played by both schools. When many of the Edison High seniors, including the star quarterback, are caught inside Winfield, second string sophomore quarterback Toby Gibson must fill in. Will he rise to the occasion or fail to lead his team to glory?

This story addresses issues that teens face such as peer pressure and the pressure to perform. The students who were caught face punishment showing that actions have consequences.

I will definitely recommend this book to my students who are interested in books about sports.
