I don't know how I ever survived without this book. I've been struggling with ideas, meal planning, and food that everyone in my house likes for years! I'm also very busy and often rushing out in the evening. Going shopping was a chore because I had to plan, make my lists, and that took a whole afternoon. This book solves every problem I've ever had. Not only that, every single recipe is delicious. Ingredients are easy to find and often quite easy to prepare. Anyone can cook and have success with this book. Sandi Richards where have you been all my life!

I don't usually buy cookbooks. I check them out of the library and copy the one recipe that interests me. But this one had too many post-its in it to justify copying them all. I like it a lot -- the food is interesting (hoisin slivered beef, pecan crusted salmon), and easy to prepare. Plus it comes with suggested side dishes and a reasonable prep time.

I much prefer the other cookbook I've got from Sandi Richard. I had far more misses than hits from this book.
