Jayce and Ryder are bonded wolves, unnaturally close, but not sexual with each other. They do like to share women though. And because they've been in love with Cat all their life and know she's too innocent for their debauchery, they whore it up with floozies and tramps and try not to think about Cat. That's hard to do when she shows up to announce that their mother is dead...and she's starting her heat. So even though they swore they wouldn't, Ryder has sex with her. But this leaves Jayce feeling left out since in his mind, Cat just chose Ryder and didn't want him. This is of course, inaccurate since Cat wants both men, but Ryder made the first move. So he takes off in a huff, but someone is targeting Ryder and will take Cat out just for being there. When it comes down to it, whether they want him or not, Jayce will do anything to protect the people he loves.

Yeah, this didn't work for me. I guess the sex was pretty good, what with Ryder sexing Cat up against a tree as Jayce walks in and then their little threesome there at the end. But the romance was definitely not the way I roll when it comes to menage. Jayce, in the first place, was an absolute ass when it came to Cat. He kept trying to push her away and was REALLY mean to her...and yet she kept coming back for more, thinking what? That he loved her? That she loved him? Why? She hadn't seen him in 10 years or so, so why was she even bothering? And after his comments when he saw Ryder and her together, I just can't fathom why she would still want him. I'm not a huge fan of jealousy in menage, so that was a problem for me. And Jayce's asshole behavior just made it more unbelievable that a woman would want to be connected to him. And Ryder making a play when Jayce wasn't there, knowing how Jayce felt, was a pretty asshole move too. Just couldn't with these people. Good smut though...poor romance.

1.5 stars. Jayce was a dick; Ryder was ok; Cat was in heat. Pretty much summarizes this story. Btw slut shaming by a main character is NEVER ok.
Ok, little rant done.

Ryder and Jayce are two alpha werewolves who share everything. They were thrown out of their old pack when they were proved to have a bond that usually held only by twins. They were also unusual in other ways. In their old pack Cat was their best friend. As they grew, both men's feelings turned to desire. They both know that Cat is their mate but Cat is to innocent to become either's mate. So they left town to give Cat her freedom.
Cat has always had the hots for both Ryder and Jayce. She always figured they saw her a just a friend and she was sad when they moved away. No she has tracked them down to give them news of their mother's death. She still finds Ryder and Jayce sexy but now they seem interested in her at least sometimes. She loves both men and doesn't want to choose.
This is a good book with a couple of big surprises. I loved how protective Ryder and Jayce were. I voluntarily received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.

Cat grew up with Jayce and Ryder. They left the pack when Jayce lost a battle to claim some other wolf’s mate. Throw in an interesting tidbit that they’re like brothers but not and that they are “different”.

The book was just a bit too disjointed.

Jayce and Ryder share women yet Jayce flips out when Ryder gets with Cat and doesn’t even talk about sharing. um, okay. Then they find out that dear old Dad is a deity and they’re not really werewolves. Um, okay that was kinda out of left field. Dear old Dad is now trying to kill them so naturally that’s what brings the trio back together after Jayce left with his panties in a wad that Ryder and Cat hooked up.

Too much going on so that nothing was fully developed and challenges all neatly wrapped up. A short read so maybe I’m biased against this being more of a novella.

Plot summaries are intriguing for Mina Carter but this is the second book that I’ve read that leaves me just “meh”. I guess it will be either a case of “third time is a charm” or “strike 3” with the next choice.

Despite two jerk wolf shifters who are manwhores, this is not a bad story.
Didn’t think much of Jayce and Ryder at the start and agreed Catlain was too good for them but fates decide.
It took a long while to warm up to them but I did laugh at the clothesline incident.
Cat starts off a little weak but soon earns her stars dealing with these two idiots and all that happens. Did find it strange that she was a virgin even though she is a wolf too.
Good story once all the we can’t touch her crap was out of the way. Very interesting ending with their father and all that stuff.

I received a copy of this story in return for an honest review.

This a quick read by Ms. Carter. Caitlin has hunted Ryder and Jayce down to give them bad news. Now that she has found them, she learns she is not the only one. Can Ryder and Jayce protect Caitlin from not only the danger that followed them but also from them? I enjoyed Caitlin and her guys. Ryder and Jayce weren't ready to see Caitlin as a grown woman but she was willing to fight for the unconventional relationship she wanted. But someone from their past was having none of it. Ryder and Jayce were strong characters who loved and ran from Caitlin. When danger touches her both men decide to stand and fight. I loved that when the going got tough, the tough took a stand. This was a nice story by Ms. Carter.

I felt like this book had some real potential and good storyline but It was rushed so fast that I couldn't connect to the characters or really understand them. I felt like the writer was so focused on the sex scenes that the story lacked and some of the wording used didn't fit the character I was reading. The book was ok but wanted more from it. It was a quick read and helped me get out of my reading slump.

This was a fun take on wolf shifters who find their father. Big secret there, but the big problem is he is out to kill his sons. The sons find the strength to defeat him and get the girl wolf they have always loved. There is a big part of the development of the sons that I wish the author had spent time on.

Enjoyable

A enjoyable read. The ending was pretty cool, liked that they decided to stay with their lady instead of wanting a lot of power.

Sometimes we don’t have time for a full-sized story. Sometimes we’re not in the mood. You know you’ve been there, done that...we all have. And that’s just where Mina Carter’s stories come into the picture. While they might be on the smallish size, they are most definitely fun and wicked hot, and best yet, these babies are definitely complete stories, in and of themselves.

Two Wolves for Cat...well this bad boy right here gives us one sexy and sassy female and two hot alpha wolves who have a little something extra packed inside (you gotta read it to see for yourselves) and I absolutely guarantee you will love the twist Ms. Carter brings to the story.

Jace and Ryder are two bad boy bounty hunters. They bonded soon after they were born . Not normal in their world. Jayce's mom died in child birth and when the pack was forcing both babies out Ryder's mom took both babies and ran. Seen they had a chip on thier shoulder because they made trouble in this pack to and got kicked out. They only grew harder and angrier
When they left the broke Caitlin young heart now she is grown up and has to tell them some news about thier mom's death and that the guys are in danger but things are never easy. Danger comes before she can tell them because one of the brothers are being a jerk to her
Love the twist in this story. Lots of action and drama plus the one bother loves to be a jerk. If you need something wild with lots of spice cheek this out. Shifter fan who like to walk on the wild side you will not be disappointed
Voluntary reviewed a copy and I honestly enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed this story! I loved the characters. Ryder and Jayce are the bad boys that are the odd ones out in their world. They were born to 2 different women in the same pack minutes apart and are bonded. But this isn't normal for 2 men to be bonded at birth that aren't twins. It causes problems and after one of their mothers dies shortly after their birth, they are kicked out of the pack. They grow up in a different one and have a connection to Cat. They are older than her so they don't do anything with her while in the pack but about the time they hit 18 they are kicked out for their trouble making ways. Cat hasn't seen them since. All 3 are drawn to each other but Ryder and Jayce think that she is too innocent for them and they have grown up with everyone thinking there is something wrong, cursed, about them and don't think that they will have mate, one that loves them both as they share everything. Cat then comes walking through the door and things quickly change. Someone is after them and it forces the 3 to stay in close quarters and have to face some facts. Things happen quickly but it makes sense considering they grew up together and have had a close connection. The sex is explicit and it does end up with all 3 involved. There is plenty of action to keep your attention as well. I really enjoyed the story and it was a quick read.

Another wonderful short story from the talented Mina Carter. Three werewolves, unfulfilled longing and a deranged killer hunting them all. Oh what fun!

My my Mina wrote a short but outstanding story. A different kind of twist.
Caitlin aka: Cat is a Shewolf Princess to there old Alpha. Cat left her pack to find the boys because someone killed something precious to them.
Jayce and Ryder Vanir  were Two Alpha Wolf Shifters, Bounty Hunters, these two were born with separate mother but they bonded immediately the pack did not like this, they made them go. They were like brother, you name it they shared it.

This book is full of surprises. Jayce and Ryder, two alpha wolves who share an unusual and unheard of bond (no m/m stuff), find solace in one night stands (menages) and bounty hunting. Yet, underneath it all is an unidentified restlessness neither can explain. Enter Caitlin, their childhood friend, and secret crush, and things begin to get interesting really fast.

The story is fast paced and full of questions that are answered in ways some readers might not have suspected or enjoyed (I gathered this from reading some of the other reviews), but for me it hit the mark.

Mina, I think you have the start of a unique series here. I hope to see more hybrids like Jayce and Ryder soon (as I'm sure the antagonist didn't get them all--if you know what I mean--I don't want to say more and spoil the book for others).

I was given a copy of this story in exchange for an honest review.

Two Halves of A Whole

If you every thought about being the filing between two hot guys. This book might interest you. Andreas and Ryder are wolf shifter-bounty hunters. They are physically total opposites but are bonded tighter the blood brothers.

Cat is the one woman that they both want. She has had a crush on these two since she was young but never thought she stood a chance.

Danger will come for the ones they love will they be able to defeat this godly evil.

I have voluntarily read and reviewed this ARC from the author without obligation to do so.

Jayce and Ryder are wonderful alpha characters. They know that they are linked somehow but not how closely they really are linked. I don't want to give anything away but there is something really special about these two. You immediately want to put yourself in Cat's shoes since you can fell the devotion these two already feel for her. Every woman dreams of having a man that devoted and loving. I voluntarily read this book for an honest review.

I didn't like it

I love Mina Carter and most of her books, but I did not like this one. I thought this was a normal shifter book, but completely missed the significance of "paranormal" until I was 1/2 way through. This is not a genre I enjoy. Demons, magic, spells, realm...not my thing.

As for the story, there really wasn't much. Cat was juvenile and a irritating through the book. She seemed more teenager than grown woman. Ryder and Jayce were equally immature. It always irritates me when people are running for their lives but have time to stop and have amazing sex (eye roll)..then Jayce has his big temper tantrum. Never mind that the woman he supposedly loves, is treated so badly for the first 3 quarters of the book.

While I didn't like this book, I still enjoy the lovely Mina Carter.
