The year is 1171 and Prince Madog and his companions find themselves in a strange new world. As they travel this new domain they will encounter friendly and not so friendly locals, bewildering beasts, hallucinogenic liquors and mighty cities. They will suffer treachery and tragedies that will test their powers of diplomacy, endurance, belief and fighting spirit.
Can they overcome adversity to triumph and will love conquer all?
Born and bred in North Wales; after graduating from The University of Leeds with a Mining Engineering degree, I spent the next seven years living and working (often four km underground) in Southern Africa. During this time, I was fortunate enough to visit some of the most fabulous wild places on the planet; and indulge in another passion - wildlife photography (www.stripephoto.com - shameless plug over)
This was followed by spells living in California and London.
I currently reside in the beautiful state of Colorado, but return to Wales as often as possible to visit family, soak up that indefinable magical atmosphere, and experience the sense of belonging I feel nowhere else – Hiraeth as we say in Welsh.

An amazing story, so realistic makes you wonder if it could have been real! Some heartbreak all through this serirs, but it made it feel more true. Good read!
