Do you often find yourself setting new goals and never achieving them?
It’s a vicious cycle for most people – they set goals, get excited and work hard for a few weeks, then they either give up at the first failure or when the results aren’t good enough.
Well the thing is, the actual PROCESS, whether it be a diet, a fitness regime or a business model, usually works. I’m sorry to tell you this but it’s more likely YOU that is not working correctly.
This is why it is of PARAMOUNT importance that you develop the RIGHT mindset before you pursue ANY goal. This book contains 15 EASY ways to alter your mindset and unleash your full potential starting TODAY. You DON’T have to live a life of half measures. If you want to be in the same place a year from now, then don’t read this book.
BUT, if you are willing to develop yourself into someone that is GOING PLACES, I’d recommend INVESTING in yourself by reading this short book as a starting point. Who knows where it could take you.
Most of the points made in this book are quite common, either one must have heard or read it before, but since it is compiled with good examples and is a quick read, it helps motivate the readers.
A short read. If you have read most of the popular self - help books, this will provide a revision of the key points. A good read when you feel short on motivation.
Don’t see challenge as a chore, but as a sign that you are operating outside of your comfort zone, and learning. Focus on the process, and then the end goals will take care of themselves. Never underestimate the power of practice, as this is what makes success, not raw talent. Plan, make prototypes. You may not get it right first time, and that is fine. Be eager for discovery Believe you can achieve Don’t think that success = rich Condition yourself for success Value the important over the urgent Do things today Value others Be thankful Improve yourself and your life will improve Don’t beat yourself up See hard work as an opportunity.
If you take care of yourself then you can take care of your life and the world. Start from within and then you will eventually reach everywhere. A good quick read...
Generally, when you pick up such self-help books to read, you realize you already know all this. That's right, but it all matters how it is placed and put out for you, that's where this book is good. It has no left-right crap and is right on the spot, to the point telling you swiftly the 'best practices'. This book picks up some key strategies from some of the most famous books on this topic, to make yourself 'do' things you've always been procrastinating all your life.
As I said, there's nothing new, but the concise nature of the book giving most of what you wanted/needed to hear in such a short span = the stars.
Instead of calling it a book we should call it essay. The book is just a copy-paste from 2 books(Secret, Think and Grow Rich).... and added 2-4 examples of successful people like CEO of Starbucks, CEO of Apple, etc. It's good to read the book if you want to revise your previously read books on self-help in and you can finish in one or two sittings. But if you are looking for something new then this book is not for you. The author of this book has done no new research on this subject so I can't give more than two stars for this book.
Book name- Master Your Mind, Master your life. Author- Magnus Steele "Firstly, don't see a challenge as a chore or as work, but change your mindset to value obstacles and barriers as puzzles to solve." . The book teaches good examples of people and how they change their lives. No one is perfect. The perfect was once the beginner. Start from today set goals(not big ones, start from small goals), and you will see the difference passing by days after days. Two important points this book taught me: 1. Take 21 days challenge. 2. Meditate.
15 mind hacks that has been written in this book are summaries of some great books like how to win freind, think and grow rich and mindset etc. Witter does not overlaps his thoughts on these summaries which is good. It' keeps their escence. However I am very happy that Witter is able to aggregate them in his small little book which deliver the message clearly.
The key to the success is to know what you want and to know how to attain it. Success also does not come through hard to master skills or esoteric knowledge, but through getting the basics right and following through again and again. So true, this book proves the methodology is such a clear and concise way, it makes easy to digest and understand...
And focus on the attainment. That fairly well sums up this short promotional book. Using stories from business and history, with a little Napoleon Hill thrown in, the premise is sound though the writing is fairly typical and undifferentiated from similar books.
Good motivational book. Quick read and to the point. However got quite a bit of spelling and grammatical mistakes, but that can be overlooked, as the content is self explanatory.
Enjoyed reading this book. It was a quickie with a lot of wisdom which people generally acquire after toiling for quite some time ! Definitely worth reading !
This book deserves a five star for it can easily encourage anyone to start developing themselves as he/she reades this book. This book can be read by any age group. This is a great book for self-development
The author proposes some mind tricks to change your mindset to achieve your goals. In order to achieve success, you need to change your mindset. I like the way that author presented the tricks.
Excellent. I can see myself picking this up again in future to reinforce my plans and give me a boost. Some of the grammar needs correcting but this does not stop me giving this 5 stars. Very positive. Thank you.
Precise and crisp summary of the recipe to success
All the essential ingredients of what is needed to achieve success in life are mentioned in this book in brief. It is handy to revisit this book to remind oneself of the simple but effective techniques to improve one's life.
The writer has beautifully described the ways of success. The best thing of the book is that it is very systematic and scientific. Apart from that the writer has tried to keep it short and simple, this is the best part of this book.
This book talks about what changes one need to incorporate inorder to reach their goals and why hardwork is a game changer and talent without hardwork is no use.
