A very unique take on fantasy. A living, breathing realm, one whose surrounding ecology connects with the characters and speaks through their minds. Everything is controlled by a single force... Mother. I found that the plot was built upon relationships. Whether they were between the extremely diverse characters, or simply a personal connection to the surrounding environment. You'll find yourself slowly bleeding into the story, as your mind is taken on a winding journey with no apparent destination.

Gives you a whole new perspective on the potential relationship between mankind and the earth, and our responsibility to give it the best care we can. Can't wait for book 2!
