From medical secretary to court reporter to property manager to owner of a special events decorating company, my resume reads as if I don’t know what I want to be when I grow up. But one thing that has remained constant through the years is my love for writing. I currently pen fun and fast-paced inspirational romance and romantic suspense stories. My books have won several awards and been nominated for two RITA® awards and an RT Reviewers’ Choice Best Book Award.

After spending most of my life in Florida, a few years ago, I moved to the mountains of North Carolina, where I write my stories outside on the back deck in the summertime and inside in front of the fireplace in the wintertime. When I’m not writing or doing writerly things, I enjoy hiking, camping, kayaking—almost anything outdoors. My two grown daughters and grandkids live too far away for my liking, so I now pour all that nurturing into taking care of two sassy black cats.

Very entertaining inspirational romantic suspense that starts at a high school reunion where a group of friends from high school days are reunited. When one of them is killed at the reunion, they find that they are being targeted by a killer seeking vengeance against them. The killer thinks that they were responsible for the death of a fellow student ten years ago, and now they must pay for it, one by one. Set in Cedar Key, Florida, this was a fun and suspenseful story, fast-paced, with an enjoyable cast of characters and a sweet romance. I really liked the heroine, Amber, who went from being a bad girl in high school to now being a cop.

What a perfect premise for a suspense novel. Very Agatha Christiesh with reunion attendees dying off one by one. High School reunions are already deadly enough without a twisted killer on the loose. :-)

And then there's Caleb and Amber getting reacquainted as law enforcement professionals. They were from opposite sides of the track back in high school. Caleb was the hard working but easy going student who never got into trouble. Amber was the exact opposite. Loved that fresh spin on the usual good girl/bad boy scenario. But Amber has her act together now and she's trying to live down her past...if it doesn't kill her first.

Incredibly clever suspense plotting and great dynamics between the hero and heroine (hello -- they both have rescue animals!) make this a compulsive page-turner of a read.

Good book. Kept my interest the entire time and figured out the killer right before it was revealed.

Reunited by Danger by Carol J. Post is a thrilling, and chilling read. Amber Kingston doesn’t want to go to her ten-year high school reunion, but at the insistence of one of her old friends she finally agrees. At the reunion one of her old friends is murdered and she soon learns that she was set up. And the person who asked her to come- had been killed two months ago.

The murderer will not rest until Amber and all her high school friends are killed. One by one they are picked off. I can only imagine how stressful that would be to see people being killed around you and knowing that you could quite possibly be the killer’s next target especially when the victims are your friends.

Caleb is carrying luggage of his own, despite his goody two shoes appearance. But he’s determined to find the killer before he can get to Amber. But to learn who the killer is first they must unbury the past. The mystery must be solved, and the killer brought to justice before all of the six friends pay the ultimate price. Get ready for an ominous read.

I received a copy of this book for free from the author. I was not required to post a positive review and all the views and opinions are my own.

This book was so good and so creepy! Started off with a bang and I even had to put it down once or twice as it was nighttime and I was getting so creeped out. I did guess the killer early on and couldn't believe the two main characters, cops no less, totally miss it . So obvious! However I enjoyed the story so much I'm overlooking it. If I didn't enjoy it as much as I did, I would have deducted a star.

Reunited by Danger was really good. I loved the characters and the writing was great. The storyline held my attention and kept me guessing -- even if I wasn't surprised by the villain in the end. ;)

I loved the plot and how it involved events from the past. It was interesting and I loved trying to piece together the clues throughout. The romance was also very good.

All in all, I really enjoyed Reunited by Danger and recommend it! I don't think you need to read the previous book before this one -- it's good all on its own.

I'm sad that this is the last book in the Cedar Key series. I have enjoyed the characters and the location! However, this final book was a good suspense and ended the series in a great way! It begins at a 10-year high school reunion and right off the bat, someone is murdered! The story revolves around a group of high school friends and an incident that happened while they were in high school that still hasn't been resolved! Police officer, Amber Kingston, was part of that group and Detective Caleb Lyons is also at the reunion. Between the two of them, they begin to work on the case but because Amber is actually a part of the high school group, she can give Caleb insight into what happened back in high school. Then, more members of the group start dying and it's perfectly clear that someone is targeting this group and Amber and Caleb need to figure out who the killer is before Amber becomes the killer's next victim! I enjoyed the interaction between the two main characters - especially their backstories. I also liked the other characters in the book. I couldn't put the book down....it was very exciting!
***I highly recommend it! I was given a complimentary copy of this book by the author but all these opinions are my own.

It goes without saying that I thoroughly enjoy a cozy mystery. When I was a kid, my mom read them like crazy and always encouraged me to try them. Nope. I was all into the Sweet Valley High craze (which, in their defense, had SOME mystery from time to time), Beverly Lewis' Amish fiction, and Robin Jones Gunn's (and a smattering of other authors!) books. All of those were loaned to me by my grandmother (who was, to my joy, a hoarder of multiple genres of delightfully good books!). It wasn't until I was an adult that I decided to give mysteries more of my time. My mom was right--I'd deprived myself.

Introduction
If you're a reader of my reviews, you probably know that I've read several of Carol J. Post's novels. And Love Them. This one is no different.

Reunited by Danger is the fifth novel in the Cedar Key series. Each book in the series has provided clean entertainment and suspense with creative plots and richly-developed characters.

Amber Kingston is a cop in Cedar Key. Ramona, high school friend, sent her a Facebook message asking her to go to their 10-year class reunion. Amber would like to move ahead in her life and forget the past. She wants to forget what happened in high school, the death of classmate Landon. But when she hears that her old friend is dying, Amber finds her way to the reunion. When all of the old group of friends show up except for Ramona, Amber is confused and wants answers.

Detective Caleb Lyons was present at the reunion. Always having been on the clean and squeaky side, Caleb hadn't been part of Amber's wild group of friends. However, he'd heard the stories surrounding them.

Upon the mysterious falling death of one of the six, each of the four remaining in Amber's group of friends received a chilling line written on a piece of paper. Each of those lines combined formed a poem telling the tale of a debt being paid--for Landon's murder.

Amber and Caleb team up to solve the mystery, and in the process of working together, they both learn that each of them holds secrets. Amber struggles to let go of her previous mistakes and harbors feelings of self-condemnation. Caleb, in turn, blames himself for the death of a loved one.

Initial Thoughts
Reunited by Danger grabbed me from the first page. As she's setting the stage, Carol was brilliant at introducing action right from the start. Putting questions in my head, making me feel part of the investigation--that's what makes a mystery enjoyable for me!

As the scenes changed surrounding the plot, there was clear flow and no confusion. Every chapter built on previous ones, and the story developed naturally and smoothly. Also, the drama, danger, and suspense built fluidly and with more intensity with each page.

The characters of Reunited by Danger are all developed so neatly and their conversations are unique to their individual personalities.

Final Words
I had a hard time putting Reunited by Danger down. It's been a busy week, and unfortunately, I had to put it down more times than I wanted to!

The final action scene had me on the edge of my seat, wondering how it would all go down. I wasn't disappointed by the ending.

I would recommend this book for people who enjoy a clean suspense novel with lots of continual action. There is a light focus on forgiveness, redemption, and grace throughout this novel, but it is not super preachy.

Carol Post is an author that I could read over and over again, and I look forward to more great stories from her!

I was intrigued by the plot and decided to give it a try, since I had not read other books by this author.
I found the story not only entertaining, but also filled with suspense, a complex cast of characters and a plot that was plausible. Though the story takes place 10 years after the death of a HS student, it’s the group of 6 friends that bring this story to life. Five are enticed to attend the 10th year class reunion by a sixth person . Little did they know that friend had been murdered prior to them getting the invitation and thus the invitation and the notes left to each one of them is more of a ploy to eventually kill them all.
Were they in anyway responsible for the death of their classmate? Are they keeping secrets from one another?
Aside from that , will a relationship develop between Amber, one of those students and now a cop, and Caleb ,a clasmate and now a detective, assigned to the investigation.
An author worth following and a plot that will keep you guess.
I was gifted this copy. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Reunited by Danger is a Love Inspired Suspense by Carol J. Post. It is set in a small town in Florida. The suspense catches you from chapter 1 and only ends in the last chapter. Carol does a fantastic job of keeping you intrigued as you try to figure out who is doing the killing and can they capture him.
Ten years ago, six friends were thought to have conspired to lure a young man out to a party where he would be beaten to death. However, all of the young people, who were known for causing problems, had alibis and were never charged with his murder. They always claimed they didn’t do it. Amber Kingston was one of the young people and she always carried a sense of guilt over Landon’s death simply because she had called him to ask him to come to the party. However, she had left before he even got there. This guilt and the guilt she felt over her Father’s heart attack led her to stop following the path of her brother Harold’s daredevil ways to becoming a police officer. Her older brother Hunter was also an officer at Cedar Lakes, only thirty minutes from Chiefland, which was home. . Now, she reluctantly returned to Chiefland for the 10-year reunion of her class. She only came because Ramona had begged her to. She was very upset to learn of the deaths of three of their classmates. She knew of two of them; but the third, Ramona Freeman was a shock. Ramona had died in April; but she had begged Amber to come to the reunion in May. Amber had been here for a while but was now ready to go home when screams led her outside to a patio where she found her friend, Alex O’Dell, dead while Olivia Chamberlin screamed. Liv had found Alex when she came outside. Evidently, he had fallen from a balcony overhead. Did he fall, jump, or was he pushed? Ramona and Alex had been in the group of six as had Amber and Liv.
Caleb Lyons was a police detective with Chiefland and a classmate of Amber’s. However, he had not been in the “trouble-causing group” but was in the popular group. He had, however, been nice to everyone in the “trouble-chasing group”. Amber had been talking to him before the scream. Now they were working together to figure out who was killing the six, one-by-one. The chief suspect was Logan Cleary, Landon’s twin brother. He had been giving the five remaining member of the group harsh looks during the evening. He had also gloated at two of the six having met justice. He definitely blamed them for Landon’s death. However, there was no evidence to his having been involved. The only clue they had was a poem which was made by combining the notes the six had received that night. Obviously, they were the targets.
The book is very realistic. Carol managed to transport you to Cedar Key and Chiefland as Caleb and Amber hunt down the killer.

Reunited by Danger was a very suspenseful story! It was so interesting to piece together the past events that led to the targeting of a group of friends. The danger to these characters ratcheted up with each turned page. I liked the way the author allowed the reader to understand more of the past, little by little, as clues were gathered.

I enjoyed the romantic tension that built between the two main characters, Caleb and Amber. They both had pasts that were haunting them and keeping them from moving on in their own various ways.

I thought that this book had a great combination of danger, romance, and intrigue and I definitely recommend it to those who enjoy romantic suspense. Reunited by Danger can be read as a stand alone.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

STORY-LINE REUNITED BY DANGER BY CAROL J. POST:

Police Officer Amber Kingston and Detective Caleb Lyons feature in author Carol J. Post new mystery, suspense, romance Reunited By Danger. Amber receives face book posts from her old friend, Ramona, begging her to come to the ten-year class reunion. Ramona says she has cancer and wishes to connect with the old group of six at the reunion.

Amber, a girl headed for no good in high school, ran with a bad crowd. Six of them who grouped together for drinking and fun. When one of the six is murdered at the reunion, Amber finds a one line message near him. Each of them have mysteriously received cryptic messages from someone seeking vengeance for a past deed they feel the six are responsible.

Detective Caleb Lyons, ran with the good crowd in school; always top grades, helping others, and a Christian to boot. These two must now work together on this case. Amber and Caleb, find her friends murdered one by one, as they receive messages of retaliation for the past. Caleb with his own demons, tries to get Amber to open up to him and tell all she knows? Will they solve this mystery? Can a relationship, possibly love, bloom between Amber and Caleb as they become closer and closer? My mystery suspense romance book reviews of Reunited By Danger follows.

CHARACTERS, PLOTTING, DEVELOPMENT:

Reunited In Danger grabbed me from the beginning of the book and did not let go until the last page. A fast paced tale of vengeance, murder, and secrets, author Carol J. Post crafted a first class story filled with mystery and suspense. I could relate to their immature behavior, as we all were immature in our teen years of high school. Post highlights the repercussions of immature behavior with the resulting damage and repercussions which occur.

I found the suspense and mystery addictive as I became involved in the story-line. Then, I found myself asking: who's going to be next and what happened on that night long ago? Post kept the identity of the murderer and secrets close to her chest and did not reveal either until absolutely necessary to the story-line. What event set the murderer on a trail of vengeance? Wondering if Amber's involved and praying not, I impatiently clicked my E reader screen, reading this book straight through as I had to know the answers.

Amber's ashamed and regrets her behavior all those years ago; she can not forgive herself for many reasons. She carries a huge weight of guilt. Filling her life with activity from police work to fostering animals, she tries to make amends. Post matured Amber slowly throughout the book, bringing her to the realization of God's love and forgiveness.

Caleb has his own demons and guilt. Although a Christian, his past emotional trauma haunts him; he wrestles with his guilt and demons, searching for answers, and making deals with God. Finding himself drawn to Amber, will a romance bloom between these needy hearts in need of grace, hope, and forgiveness?

Post handled the religious aspects gracefully; religion did not take top billing in this story, only about 1/4 of book tells the story of forgiveness and grace. Rather, Post let the characters personalities and lives show their beliefs. Caleb's testimony made a great impact on Amber as she realizes bad things also happen to good people. A wonderful graceful way to add in God's love, grace, and forgiveness.

Will Amber let go the guilt and turmoil to live life according to God's plan? Will Caleb and Amber finally realize the past is exactly that, the past? Does the villain succeed in murdering the last two standing survivors? Do Amber and Caleb find a route to romance? Or will they go their separate ways, yet, whole and ready for life, and finally, who's the killer? Nearing the end of the story, I began to see and guess the murderer; boy was I surprised; the reasons for getting revenge were also a huge surprise. To find all the answers, you will have to read this intriguing book.

As a book review blogger, I am supposed to tell what I did not like about the story. However, I can truthfully say, I found nothing. In Reunited By Danger by author Carol J. Post, I found a solid well-written suspense mystery with a touch of romance for those of us who like a little romance with our murder. The story's well paced and the scenes transition well with writing which is easy to read and follow, as well as, flowing smoothly. The tension and mystery's kept at high peak throughout and the characters are well-developed. I would not hesitate to buy this book for myself or a friend.

REUNITED BY DANGER RECOMMENDATION: STARS 4

Reunited By Danger is a clean read; Post had no need of fluff or sex to satisfy the reader; with intense and creative writing, I never lost interest. Perfect for reading in your favorite chair with a beverage by your side. Book reviews for books like Reunited In Danger are a joy to create. I hope you enjoy this tale as much as I did.

I enjoyed the suspense of this book, though I must admit that I figured out pretty early in the book who the killer was. I know for some people that might be frustrating, but knowing who the killer was so quickly almost made the book more suspenseful for me as I waited for the main characters to figure things out and as I watched situations unfold, not knowing exactly how or when the killer would strike, but knowing who it was.

Another aspect of this book that I found to be interesting was the previous relationship between Amber and Caleb from when they were younger. In most romances that I’ve read where the two main characters knew each other in high school, they either dated each other, at least one of them had a crush on the other, there was an unrequited love situation between the two, or there was some kind of pretty big history between them in some other way. With Caleb and Amber, though, they were simply acquaintances in high school, not in some kind of relationship with each other. I found that deviation from the typical plot line to be refreshing. It gave their developing relationship a different feel than in other books I’ve read and I appreciated that.

Spoiler Alert: The following two paragraphs may contain what some would consider to be spoilers.

While Caleb and Amber don’t have a past relationship together that they need to work through, they each do have things in their individual pasts that have caused them to have some hang ups and I was glad to see them work through those things so they could come together in the end. One side aspect of the book that I would have liked to see developed a little more was Amber’s relationship with her parents, especially her dad. She took some blame on herself for some things that happened with her dad that I don’t believe were her fault. I would have liked to have seen a conversation between her and at least one of her parents where those things were cleared up.

Amber does not have a relationship with the Lord even though she grew up in a Christian home. She struggles with guilt and condemnation (much of which she heaps on herself) and she doesn’t really believe God wants anything to do with her. She seems to believe that she needs to take care of everything herself. She also looks at certain others and assumes that they’ve never messed up and that must be what puts them in right standing with God. Throughout the book, Amber hears two different messages, one about David and the other about Peter. The messages talk about how both men messed up, yet they turned back to God and He forgave them and restored them. But it’s not until she also hears Caleb’s personal testimony that she really begins to believe it can be so for her, too. Amber tells Caleb, “I’m not sure the first two would have stuck without the third.” That statement really struck me. It reminded me of how important it is to share our struggles with others and how God helped us through them. Amber needed to see the message about David and Peter played out in someone in her life before it really hit home for her. We never know when sharing our struggles and the times we’ve overcome through Jesus with someone will be the thing they need to see to trust Him. Maybe they’ve heard stories of God working in the Bible, but when they’ve looked at the world they live in, they don’t see Him because no one has ever shared with them how He has worked in their personal lives. It takes seeing God at work in the life of someone they know for them to see that God is still at work today like He was in the Bible.

Overall, I really enjoyed Reunited by Danger, from the suspense to the relationship development to the spiritual aspects dealt with in the book.

I had a hard time putting this book down. From the first page I was drawn into a mystery that started 10 years ago. It was interesting trying to figure out who the killer or killers were, and why they were after this group of friends. This book takes place in Cedar Keys, if you haven't read any of the other books Post has written about his place, you need to. It's not necessary to read them in order to enjoy this book, but Carol J. Post is an amazing author and you don't want to miss out.

It all started the night of their high school reunion. A night that is supposed to be full of good memories takes a turn for the worst, and the killer could be anyone. Having two law enforcement officers should have helped them have a chance at catching the killer, but instead they always seem to be a step behind. Caleb and Amber knew each other in high school, but they are both totally different now. When Amber is revealed as one of the intended targets Caleb wants nothing more than to catch whoever is killing his former classmates. Will they figure it out in time? Or are they all destined for more heartache?

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a suspenseful mystery. Piecing the clues together kept me on the edge of my seat. I enjoyed seeing the characters feelings grow for each other. And enjoyed playing detective right along with them. I received a copy of this book, and was in no way forced to post a positive review. All opinions expressed are my own.

Amber Kingston had no intention of attending her school reunion until she got a Facebook message from Ramona Freeman, one of her best friends at high school. Mona begged her to go, so she did. Only it’s announced at the reunion that Mona is dead. And four others from her class got the same Facebook message and came to the reunion … and now one of them is dead.

It doesn’t take long to realise a serial killer is on the loose, out to kill the six friends for their part in the death of another of their schoolmates. It’s part I Know What You Did Last Summer, part Ten Little Indians, but with a Christian influence.

Amber was a bad girl at school, but everything changed that night when Landon died.
Now she’s a local cop, serving on the local police force with her protective older brother. They investigate the case with the help of Caleb Lyons, another member of her high school graduating class, now a detective.

As Amber and Caleb try to stay one step ahead of the murderer, there is also a mutual attraction between them. But Amber feels she isn’t good enough for Caleb. And Caleb refuses to marry a cop, which means their internal emotional and spiritual journey is as good as the external plot.

Reunited by Danger is a fast-paced suspense novel. It’s Love Inspired Suspense, which means it isn’t long—which is good, because it’s almost impossible to put down once you start (I read it in an evening and finished right on bedtime … perfect).

Recommended for romantic suspense fans.

I have read and reviewed two of this author's books, and enjoyed both of them. The first was not suspense, but was a great read. The second was suspense, which is my favorite genre', and I was happy to have the chance to review the next book in the suspense series Cedar Key.

Reunited by Danger had a great plot: six high school friends being picked off one by one ten years later in relation to a tragic death. The author doesn't wait to launch into the killings, and the first happens on the fourth page of the book, pulling me into the story right away. The suspense and action were well done, and it was not until close the end of the book that I began to suspect who the killer was - and I was correct.

The characters were very likable, and the issue of trusting God made a great sub plot to the story, with both main characters struggling in that area for different reasons and in different ways. The book is not preachy for those who are bothered by that, but it does carry a great message that God can forgive and change anyone, and that He can be trusted.

These kind of books are a fast read, with this one coming in at just 219 pages, but those pages are packed with the kind of suspense and non-stop action and drama that I love in a suspense novel. It has made me want to read the other three books in the series which I have not yet read. Great read, highly recommended.

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This is our goodbye to the fictional town of Cedar Key, and I'm a bit saddened the series is ending. Carol J. Post has imagined a community I wouldn't mind living in...except for all of the dead bodies that drop! With "Reunited By Danger", Post ends her five book series on a very high note.

I love novels with lots of characters, and I love stories about high school reunions. I'd rather read about them than attend one (which I have never done), and this reunion story is one of the best. Amber and Caleb are well developed characters, and the sweet romance that blossoms has a realistic feel.

I have to admit, I figured out who the murderer was fairly early in the story, but I was fascinated by how the plot unfolded. Post has a vivid imagination when it comes to murder, and that's a very good thing to have! I loved every single page of "Reunited By Danger".

My thanks to Carol J. Post for my advance copy with no obligation or services provided in exchange. "Reunited By Danger" gets my 'packs a punch' vote, and you can pre-order your copy now. "Reunited By Danger" releases in September 2017, but don't waste your time while you wait! I highly recommend getting caught up by reading the four previous books in the Cedar Key series:

No Safe Harbor, Shattered Haven, Hidden Identity, and Mistletoe Justice. Until next time...

I am not ashamed to admit it – I really enjoy Love Inspired Suspense novels even if some consider mass market books to be inferior. I love the way the authors always seem to manage to create interesting characters with whom I can easily connect and also put together a suspense filled romance that keeps me on my toes until it ends. Once again Carol J. Post has met those goals.

It is bad enough when a former classmate is murdered at her ten-year high school reunion but it quickly becomes evident that someone wants a number of the victim’s friends to meet the same fate and that includes police officer Amber Kingston. She and Detective Caleb Lyon, another former classmate, work together to discover who is responsible before more classmates die. Will they solve the mystery on time?

“Reunited by Danger” is a fast-moving, suspense filled tale that I read in one sitting. With the perfect blend of suspense and romance the book is filled with unexpected twists and surprises around every corner and is enhanced by a strong message of faith. This Love Inspired Suspense novel was just the right choice for a relaxing yet entertaining evening. I definitely recommend it and this author’s other books.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book provided by the author. A favorable review was not required. All views expressed are my own.

I really enjoy Carol's work and this is an excellent example. This story is well written, action packed, and full of adventure. Carol has woven her faith throughout the story as in a tapestry. I know you are going to love it.

At a ten year class reunion one of the former class mates is murdered. The victim was one of Cedar Key Police Officer Amber Kingston's friends. There had been several friends in her little click but now they were being killed off one by one. Amber herself is threatened but one of their fellow classmates comes to her rescue. Can she trust him?

Dectective Caleb Lyons was once drawn to Amber but she and her friends had been headed for trouble. He's surprised to see her in law enforcement and as dedicated to the law as he is. Can he get her to open up about what had happened back in the day? Can he protect her without losing his heart?

A journey back to the past; a struggle to stay alive and find out who the killer is. God has a plan for these two, a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. A plan of good and not for evil, seek Him, surrender to Him and watch Him work in your life.

4.5 stars. A very well written inspirational romantic suspense novel. A ten-year class reunion is the catalyst for a series of murders. Amber Kingston was a bit wild in her youth, but she has become a law enforcement officer. When her group of high school friends are threatened by anonymous notes she joins with old friend, Caleb Lyons, also in law enforcement, to find the perpetrator before more murders happen. The biggest problem, however, is that Amber seems to be the main target of murderer!

I was genuinely afraid for Amber. Things seemed to be closing in and the suspense was palpable. In the midst of all the danger we also had a lovely budding relationship between Amber and Caleb. They each had their own issues holding them back, but were eventually able to get past them. There was an underlying theme of guilt, forgiveness and restoration that enhanced the story. Strong Christian elements were evident and made Caleb and Amber very credible characters. I really liked the book and look forward to reading more from Carol J. Post.

My Thoughts On The Book:  I have loved Cedar Key forever and that is what made me want to read Carol Post's books.  Her characters are lifelike and make you feel as if you know them.  This is a great mystery-romance and a good beach read.  Post is quiet a wordsmith and once you start one of her books you just can't put it down.  I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a good Who Dunnit with a bit of romance thrown in for good measure.  I can't wait to read another one of her books.

I received a copy of this book from the author, I was not required to give a favorable review. This is a really suspenseful story, you don't want to put it down. It starts in high school with a death, now 10 years later at the class reunion they are all there, but unfortunately there is a secret between them. Amber is sent a request from her friend Mona to attend because she want to touch base before she passes away from cancer. But while she is there, one of her classmates dies at the venue, Amber, has gotten her life together and is now a police officer. But the officer in charge of the investigation in old home town is Caleb, he was always the good guy. But they figure out Mona was actually dead, and she was murdered, and they are all left a poem. You will be surprised who the killer really is.

"Reunited by Danger" is a great read! And quick - I read it in about 2 hours...mostly because I just had to know what was going to happen next. I was concerned that the "obvious" suspect would end up truly being the villain, as the climax didn't occur till really close to the end of the book- but Carol Post is a better author than that, and I know it! She did a fine job with this installment in the series (and I enjoyed having a minor character named Meagan in the book- same spelling and all!).

The book is perfect for a lazy afternoon and a cup of tea. There are also quite a few theological zingers...thought-provoking components that will challenge the reader in the best way.

I received a free copy of the book from the author. All opinions are my own.

"Reunited by Danger" is the 5th book that takes place in Cedar Key, Florida and while there are characters that appear from other books, it isn't essential to have read them first. I found the characters to be real and authentic and easy to relate to even if their situations are different than mine. I liked the Biblical thread of the story and the growth they experienced. The book kept me on the edge of my seat with the suspense of what was going on. I did figure out who was the killer quite early on, but I didn't really understand what the motivation behind it was until it was revealed. I look forward to reading more books by Carol J. Post.

I got a free copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own and given voluntarily. No compensation was received.

Reunited by Danger by Carol J. Post is a Love Inspired Suspense novel that keeps the reader on the edge of the seat, wondering who is behind the deaths that occur in the book. A tenth year reunion finds six friends getting together to catch up on their lives and the deaths begin. Why? Is it related to an incident they were all involved in as teens? Can the killer be stopped before they all are dead? This is a fast moving story with several action packed scenes, good dialogue, strong characters, romance and a thread of faith in a God who works in mysterious ways and loves to forgive. A captivating suspense story. I look forward to reading more of this author's works. I won a complimentary copy of the book and was not required to write a review. The opinions are my own.

Reunited by Danger is an amazing whodunit not unlike And Then There Were None. It kept me guessing to near the end. I'm sad that this is the last of the Cedar Key series. I've read and enjoyed them all. I visited Cedar Keys to get a feel for the setting and I found it to have a rustic charm. Thanks for providing me with hours of page-turning entertainment.

Reunited by Danger is a very good suspense filled romance novel. The reader is kept in suspense until the last few pages. Carol has a way of hiding the killer that the reader can not figure out who it may be before she releases that information. Thanks for a wonderful read Carol.

IT WAS SO BAD I WANT TO GIVE YOU A ZERO BUT THAT IS NOT POSSIBLE SO I GIVE YOU A ONE!

if you have ever read a book where it feels like the author was making it bad on purpose just to make you quit reading it. that’s was this book was for me, but I finished it anyway and well I hated it. the word choices of this woman she hated to use the word sweat no it was always perspiration also the fact that she used the word mate like what are we wolves. I guessed the killer easily so that was another problem and the fact that the detective just started to randomly piece together all the clues almost like the police are finally competent because it’s the end of the book so I need to reveal everything rn. maybe the reason I’m a hater is because I’m not a middle aged woman but oh well I will be a proud hater.
