I think KJ just saw glimpses of the future, i ll attempt to guess each one. The future scientist will probably save them from the three men. Tiffany one is hard to guess. The god lookalike old timer will kill one of the girls while holding erin hostage? Final one is the easiest KJ and mac will get together i mean we felt it right, mac seemed to overreact to the kiss of life, also she is very fascinated and focused on KJ's period, so its not too unexpected for me. But i swear KJ is an idiot for even attempting to touch that thing.
This issue was a tad confusing at times, but it also revealed some pretty cool things at the same time. We finally figure out who left the girls the message on the field hockey stick, and in doing so we also are starting to understand how these "portals" work.
There is also this weird creature thing that I couldn't possible describe, and I'm guessing that when you touch it, you see little snippets of the future.
Based on the ending to this issue, my guess is we're in for an action packed story ahead!
I honestly don't know what direction this is heading in anymore... like in the past three issues all they've done is fallen in a river and gotten separated... can we move on???
I don't really have much to say. This series keeps introducing new characters and new weird things for the girls to come across that I'm just honestly not all that invested in the story anymore. I've gotten the impression that the author is just writing as he goes.
One thing, I do feel like the art has gotten better; it seems more colorful and vibrant. So there's that.
I love it when a time loop comes together! But of course as has become the pattern, with every answer we get three more questions. And somehow that still isn't bothering me!
I'm really confused right now, I mean, I have no idea what's going on, the last... 4 pages were WOW... Absolutly crazy, but it's like the story doesn't have any path and I don't know if I like it or don't.
I was just about to give up on this series, it was boring me with the twists into nothing, and then this issue sucked me back in. Keep on this, Vaughan, you are still on shaky ground.
I like how the whole time they were complaining about hunger, and how they should have stopped at Wendy's before their adventure. Interesting ending to this issue.
OK, things sure escalated quickly. Right when you think that Brian K. Vaughan can't make it more intriguing, he does exactly that. Even though both the original thing and the new place still weren't full explained, here comes much more. You know, there's only one thing comic should do to be considered good - to be interesting. And man, this one sure is. No idea what KJ saw there, but it was literally the most beautiful thing in this issue. Fantastic scene, fantastic colors.
Feel the pace has slackened on this one. Hope it picks up again! Separated and stranded in the past, the girls go from one bizarre encounter to another. Time travel is awkward.
