I thought this book was done pretty well, It was a good read with some good perspective on things. It was a required reading for my Latin American History class and I just wish we would have read something by someone from Latin America. It is a bit ironic that the author talks about educating others and doing all we can and listening to people of color and talking about issues regarding social class only to charge $70 for a book that most people can hardly afford.
