Meet the most ratchet roommates! For almost a year, four women rent a luxury apartment in Washington D.C. with no cattiness or trouble. Within days their peaceful home becomes a mad house and a multiple homicide occurs. Lose yourself in their demented world. Oh, and you’ll be blown away by the end.
This was a good read slow in the beginning but it came alive. I would definitely recommend this book to be read. Let's see what part two has in store for us.
From start to finish this book kept me highly entertained. So many interesting characters. This story was was well crafted and I can't wait to find out what happens next.
Four woman roommates, two of them just want peace in their lives one is just plain crazy and the other one seems very nurturing and caring but it isn't always what you think it is
I didn't expect this book to be so good. The story flowed smoothly and you were able to follow the characters. There were no grammatical errors and it was typeset for the kindle. This was my first time reading work by this author and I will be reading more of their work.
Listen here. This is one trifling bunch of people! So many delusional chicks who think they're being hated on and are creating dangerous situations out of jealousy and insecurities, wrapped up with commitmentphobic men whose loyalty is always in question. Geesh!!!!.
This book singlehandedly is the reason why a lot of women don't trust other women! Cattiness, back stabbing, betrayal, greed, all can be found amongst the pages of THE ONE YOU SHOULDN'T TRUST. And trust me , I wouldn't trust none of these heifers! I really enjoyed the fact that I didn't like any of the characters , especially Barby. They all had imperfections and some type of issues. Nonetheless, I can't wait to read the next book Shay Hunter will put out
Another funny and twisted story. This short read will have you thinking and rethinking what in the world you're reading. The characters were developed well. If you are familiar with any of the Cartel movies, you will definitely enjoy. Very few errors which is always a plus. The ending was not predictable at all. I hope to see these two in more stories, just to see if they are as slick as they think.
This was a good one so much plot twisting . This book was like a roller coaster ride so many applauding moments . I love the rush and tingle it gave me , my nerves got so shot finding out what was gonna happen . I gotta applaud tab sleek behind I did not see her doing that . I need a part 2 like now
Barby and Tabitha had the same idea on how to come-up. It's sad that Tabitha and her sister Lexi has been setting innocent people up to get insurance checks. That just goes to show you how desperate some people are. Money is definitely the root of all evil. Barby got what she deserved for turning Paris in. Her plan to get money backfired on her.
Wow! Great read filled with plenty of fast paced drama & a clever storyline! This is the type of story that makes you go hmmmm... Once I started reading, I couldn't put it down for these characters had me feigning to see what would happen next!
This book was a banger from the beginning. The characters were realistic as was their dialogue. The author tied all of the pieces together and that made for a good plot and wonderful story
FROM BEGINNING TO END THIS WAS A PAGE TURNER THE END I NEVER SAW COMING I LOVED IT ... NOW I WANT TO KNOW BARBY FULL STORY I HATE WHAT HAPPEN TO PARIS ... TAKE THE RIDE WITH THESE ROOMATES IT IS LIKE NOTHING BEFORE... LEXI REALLY LOVED HER BIG SISTER TO PLAY HE ROLE...
Very entertaining. The twists and turns kept coming. The characters were very cunning and manipulative. It took awhile before I realize who was playing who.
This was my pick for my book club and while it was okay, it wasn't what the title and synopsis lead me to believe it would be.
Additionally, I'm harder on a book when it is set in the city I am from. I pay closer attention to the details and sadly there was huge disconnect from actual D.C. And the authors version of D.C.
The foundation of the story had the potential to be a true blue page turner but it didn't live up to the hype in my humble opinion.
I struggled with trying to finish read this because it was a bit slow and unconventional. Not normally something I would read. However it started to pick up towards the end. Barby was delusional and manipulative. The lies she told and the underhanded tactics she pulled was shameful. Kaden was a follower She act like she couldn't think on her own. Paris found it hard to believe what she was told that was going on and ended up telling something that backfired on her. Tabitha was the most cunning of them all. I was shocked that turned out to be treacherous as she was.
