Without dwelling on it too much, Zane climbed out of bed and slid on a pair of shorts. He didn’t bother putting on a shirt. Without a second thought, he marched down to Ashley’s room and gently rapped on the door. It didn’t take Ashley long at all to answer. She was already up. She had been thinking about Zane, too. “I need to talk to you, please,” Zane said. Ashley stepped aside and allowed the man to enter. She once again could not help but notice the man’s muscular physique. Once the door was shut, Zane turned to face her. He was nervous to make his pitch, but decided to go for it before he could chicken out. “Ashley, I don’t know why you’re fighting who you are. You deserve so much better than the way you are treated by that fella back in New York. And you deserve better than the way you treat yourself.” “What do you mean?” Ashley asked, trying to sound offended. They both knew it was an act. “You’re not living the life you really want. Why did you wait until coming back here to buy those pull-ups?” Zane asked, pointing to the garment Ashley still wore. Ashley looked down at the floor, embarrassed. “Baby girl, you don’t need to be ashamed,” Zane said. He moved in closer and reached for Ashley. Pulling her to himself, Zane hugged her. “Oh, my sweet girl.” Zane gently swayed back and forth, kissing the girl on top of her head. Ashley melted in the man’s loving embrace. At that moment, she didn’t want to fight it. She couldn’t have, anyway. “One day and night,” Zane whispered. “That’s all I’m asking for, baby girl. Give me one day and night. Give that time to yourself.” Ashley is a busy woman. As the head of her own marketing start-up firm, she has a million things on her plate and mind. Her boyfriend, Trey, seems distant, and Ashley fears the worst. On top of that, Ashley has been fighting her “little” tendencies for the past decade, too ashamed to admit her desires even to herself! That is why Ashley is excited to return to South Carolina for her ten-year high school reunion. She’s also excited about seeing her old boyfriend, Zane. The two had been madly in love with one another. Zane is also the only person Ashley has ever confessed her little side to. When the two encounter each other once more, sparks begin to fly. Zane knows Ashley is stressed and about to break. So, the gorgeous man makes her a live twenty-four hours as his baby. No pressure. No strings attached. Just one day and night being cared for, disciplined, and spoiled by him. Of course, nothing is ever that simple. Ashley agrees to the proposal. But when work pressures, the possibility of landing a major account, and the reemergence of Trey threaten Ashley’s little space, the woman must make a choice between her busy, successful life or a new life with Zane as her daddy. There are times I find it hard to concentrate on real life because the events unfolding in my imagination are far more interesting to me. So, after years of daydreaming, I decided to write these fantasies down. A few books later and I'm an author.

This book did not follow the typical age-play format where the man leads the girl into age play, either by loving guidance or force. Rather the lead female was already enamored by the fantasy of being taken care of by a strong man as his "little." I liked reading about this dynamic. So both the story was good and the writing relatively error-free.

The story has both the bad boyfriend and the good guy and the author does a nice job of having her readers pull for the good guy to win out in the end. There were sexy scenes, some comic relief and a interesting story to hold it all together. I especially liked the scene where the lead girl in the story accidentally gets locked out of her hotel room wearing really embarrassing "clothing" and runs into the "good boyfriend." No details, but it was a fun, embarrassing moment! There were a few scenes that were really hot to read. The lead girl is tied down to a bed and her boyfriend torments her with a vibrator...first pressing the vibrator against her diaper and then pushing it inside her diaper and leaving it on a mild vibration to drive her crazy.

Overall a decent read for those who enjoy age-play books. I would have marked it 5 stars, but I wanted to see the sex play/scenes a little more developed. The vivid images were captured in words, but they needed to be a bit longer and a few more sex scenes would have been nice too. The author captured the interplay between an age-play scenario perfectly...hot with a dose of humiliation. I will look for more books written by Amy Cummings

A very sweet romance involving two adorable characters, Ashley and Zane, college sweethearts that got separated when Ashley wanted to leave her small town for the Big Apple and develop her own start-up marketing company. She has a selfish boyfriend, Trey, who is the main reason for her to take a vacation for a class reunion in her old town. She will re-connect with Zane who will help her to be in touch with her inner-self of being a little. It is very light on sex or on dd-lg or age-play and is mainly a romantic story. Good HEA and excellent primer to show how being a little and a Daddy can blend in normal life.
