A really nice story. Not sure if others would like it though.
It's about Gage and Erica.
He's a race car driver and he's planning to retire soon.
A member of his team has to go home before the race and he needs someone to replace him and she's the only person they could get on short notice.
She's his best friend's daughter. And since she's a little girl, she wanted to work with race cars. Now that she's given the chance to work for him, she wants to prove herself.
It's not that steamy like I'm used to but I liked the story.
It has an epilogue and extended epilogue (when you subscribe to her email newsletter)

It's not for me. The hero knows the heroine and he is thinking and having sex with another.
I know they haven't meet in a while, but I don't care.
This type of series is NOT FOR ME.
I gave it an honest try. I read over 7 of these books and 3 I started reading but couldn't finish. Out of 13 books that not so bad!
However, I can't do it anymore and I give up.
I'm going to skip her books from now on.
The sex is poorly written. And the characters are flat. The storylines however were really interesting, it's a real shame there is no follow through on it.
I saw a lot of potential but it always fall flat for me or the author goes in a different direction.
Either way....I give up!

Another great insta-love, older man/younger woman romance from Flora Ferrari.
Erica is a young woman who has grown up surrounded by older men and fast cars. Her dad’s a pit crew chief for his friend Gage, a world-class race car driver. She’s learned the ropes from her dad and wants nothing more than a shot to be on a pit crew. She doesn’t expect her break to be straight into the big leagues, but when opportunity knocks, she happily answers.
Gage is nearing the retirement age of a race car driver. He’s won almost every race, been through scores of women, and travelled the world. Gage doesn’t feel ready to retire though and he sure isn’t ready to settle down. At least that’s his plan until he meets his new pit team member. He hasn’t seen Erica since she was a girl and now she’s all woman. Could she be the one he’s been waiting for? Will Gage drive off into the sunset with Erica and have a happily ever after?
Standalone. Quick read. Steamy, sweet novella. HEA. The racing theme was a nice change of pace from more common romance themes. :)

Erica has loved racecar driver Gage most of her life unbeknown to her father and Gage. But when a member of Gage’s pit crew team member had to leave before a race they had to find someone to take his place. Her father has been training Erica to be part of a pit crew for if she can remember and this is her chance to prove that a woman can be part of the good old boys’ club and prove she belongs part of this team. Erica was every girls dream, or living their dream. Being part of a pit crew, a swim suit model, and a lover to an older man.
From the moment that Gage sees Erica again all his woman chasing days are over and he is only going to chase one woman. Can he keep his mind on the race and convince Erica that she is the only woman for him?
Her father even suspected what was going on between his daughter and his best friend and he stated that he would always back her and that she was an adult and make her own decisions. And to make sure she was careful and make sure the guy loved her as well.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Erica and Gage Hazard. Erica has not only had a crush on Gage for year but he is her dad's best friend and in the sport she has dreamed of being in since she was little. So when one of the tire guys goes out because his wife has gone into labor early her dad recommends her. Gage takes one look at little Erica (ok not so little anymore) and knows the girl he use to know is gone. Now in her place is the woman he is determined to make his. Erica knows she has to prove not only to Gage but his entire pit crew that she is the woman for the job and no one will do it better. Can these two find a HEA both on and off the track or will who they are make that impossible?
This is an amazing story. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this book makes you want to cheer for these characters long after you read those two words the end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Erica has always been a Daddy's Girl and grew up wanting to do everything that her Dad did. He is passionate about car racing and works with his best friend, Gage, who races professionally all over the world. Her Dad has had her weight lifting and practising changing tyres and anything remotely involved in racing since she was old enough to practically walk. Now she's an adult and ready just needing a chance. That chance comes when one of Gage's crew can't be there for an important race so he agrees to let her crew for him. He knew that she would be good but he didn't expect how his feelings towards her would be involved. This is a glorious insta love romance between an older man, Gage and a younger woman, Erica that will be sure to win your heart! Will her Dad give them his blessings? How will the rest of the crew and the media react to them?? P.s. The ending is way better than I could have thought and just shows how female can make their mark in this world of today! Gage is a successful racer and her dad's best friend. Ever since she was a little girl all Erica wanted was to race cars. She has never gotten over her feelings for Gage and seeing him again when she joins his team brings them all back to the surface. Gage knows when he sees Erica again all grown up that he wants her for his own. It just comes down to timing. It seems like each time they are close to being together something interrupts them. Gage gets tired of it a comes up with a way for them to be together secretly. After one time he knows he can't let her go. What will her father think? Can they be together with their age differences?
This is a steamy hot story that will draw you in from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very good story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the older man/ younger woman romance between Gage and Erica. Gage is a race car driver and known as a playboy. Erica's father is best friends with Gage and works on his racing team. When the team is a man down right before a big race, Erica's father suggests Erica take the place on the team. Erica has been working her whole life for a chance to work on a pit crew and when she gets the chance to work for Gage, she thinks she can finally get close to him. When Gage sees Erica after a few years, he knows she is the one for him. I really enjoyed this book, i love the romance Gage was able to surprise Erica with and i loved how Gage believed in her. Good one.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Gage and Erica. He is a famous racecar driver. When racing in Monaco one of his pit crew has an urgent family requirement, his wife went into labor. So he needs a replacement. Depending on his crew chief Dave's experience, he goes with Erica, Dave's daughter. She's been training for this her entire life. But no one knows about her crush. They both feel it and the chemistry is insane. They help each other out and it benefits both of them in the long run. Great quick read.

Vroom vroom! Another awesome read by Flora Ferrari. Gage is a race car driver nearing retirement. He is preparing for what could be his last race when his best friend's daughter Erica is added to the pit crew. Wow, Gage is instantly smitten. He knows without a doubt she belongs with him. Erica has crushed on Gage for a long time and she knows this is her chance to not only prove herself in the racing world but to the man of her dreams. What an enjoyable and fun read. Her father is on a Pitt crew for a famous race car driver who is also his friend. She has worked hard and trained her whole life to be like her father. She finally gets a chance to prove herself when the crew her dad is on needs someone. His friend sees how good she is and mentors her in a way giving her a chance. She has feelings for him also and that seems to be in play too. I received a review copy by booksprout and voluntarily review it.

A really good, fast pace, exciting, and enjoyable ride! It is a beautifully written and well developed page turner with loveable characters that has lots of depth and the chemistry between them is off the charts. Amazing female empowerment angle! A really compelling read not to miss. Definitely recommended.

A quick story with a slow burn build up. I absolutely loved the introduction when she was a little girl. The epilogues were so sweet and made the book even better. The story was captivating and had great flow throughout. A must read by a binge worthy author!
