The book is divided into 4 main sections, but the entire book is a series of short writings. Each bit(?) ranges in length from just one sentence to around two pages. That is, it's a mix of very short, pithy thoughts, and slightly longer excursions. Some of them are personal reflections, and others are ruminations on more abstract ideas. Quite a few of the writings revolve around the idea of "people" - what are we doing on this earth, how can/should we live together. Most of the writings are accompanied by a simple illustration or some calligraphy. All in all, it is both enjoyable and thought-provoking. I would like to read it again some time down the road.
