He knows how he's going to die. He knows when he's going to die. The clock is ticking. This fast-paced story is an irresistible page-turner. Stephen Perkins is an average man getting on with his average life; he has a job, a girlfriend and is making plans for the future. A future which has just got rapidly shorter. On his Monday morning run, he is attacked, restrained, and taken. It soon becomes clear that he is going to be the next victim of Islamic State fanatics unless the British Forces are withdrawn from Syria. If the demands aren't met, at 1pm Friday, Stephen will be beheaded live on the internet. Jack Warner, Assistant Commissioner at Counter Terrorism Command is determined not to let that happen. But, with a network of highly organised support, the terrorists always seem to be one step ahead. With time ticking by, Stephen fights back, jeopardising Jack's attempts to rescue him. Will either man's efforts be enough?
It was a thrilling ride the whole time! I loved the characters and especially Stephen. I would highly recommend this book to friends and family members!!
