Escape with a sexy fairytale tonight....

There’s a beast in her castle…

When Talia Jeffries takes over her grandmother’s former job as scullery maid at an abandoned castle in the tropics, she’s looking for an escape from her high-achieving-but-not-necessarily-happy life as a law student in New York City. The last thing Talia expects to find on her first day of work is a flirtatious French squatter named Al.

Escape with a homeless veteran tonight...?

What?! No, no, no! This is NOT a recipe for romance—even if this particular squatter is cut like a Greek god, weirdly sexy, and possibly really good-looking beneath his huge red beard and overly long hair. However, when Talia deduces that he’s a homeless veteran, she agrees to let him remain at the castle in exchange for his help with her cleaning duties. But what starts out as an attempt to assist a troubled soul, eventually turns into something much, much hotter...

His secret is about to become her undoing…

...until Talia discovers her homeless veteran is none other than Prince Aldrich Gerulf Pierre de Chanval du Fort, Crown Prince of Les Iles de la Victoire—AKA the Bad Boy Prince of Victore. WTH?! Furious with him for lying to her, Talia immediately breaks off their budding relationship. Only to find out that she’s…

Pregnant by the bad boy prince….

So though she’s done with Al, he’s not done with her.

Not even close.

Talia’s about to find out, in the most romantic modern fairy tale way possible, that she’s…

HIS TO PRINCESS

Are you ready to get princed? Then one-click this steamy and delicious BWWM romance--perfect for those who prefer their princes red-headed, ridiculously charming, and devilishly handsome!

Are you ready to be "princed" by a Royal of Victoire'?"

Well Theodora Taylor collaborated with Bianca Pierce and created a gripping modern day fairytale that will have you rooting for both hero, Aldrich aka Al and heroine, Talia in this adorable, sexy great read!

Talia Jefferies, a Columbia law student was still in the tropics in Victoire after her grandmother's death and decided to stay on even though she knew her overachieving parents would go ballistic! She fell in love with the setting, the culture and it's people of Victoire and wanted to delay her last term of law school by taking her Mamy's scullery maid position at an abandoned castle.

On her first day at work, she was shocked to find a supposedly veteran squatter with noticeable issues at the 'Mamy's castle' and because she wanted to help the bearded strange but muscular greek god in old Jordache cut off jeans, they worked together to keep the castle in tip-top shape.... as a team so to speak. As their friendship grew, so does their attraction which leads to so much more.

Now that is all the spoilers I will give to this AWESOME read besides Al was so much more than a veteran squatter.... HE IS A ROYAL! He was "none other than Prince Aldrich Gerulf Pierre de Chanval du Fort, Crown Prince of Les Iles de la Victoire—aka the Bad Boy Prince of Victoire."

There is humor, deception, twists and turns, friendships and greed but more importantly their WAS love all around this one.

Read it and see for yourself why this couple was so endearing to me and why I am so excited about the new World series that still invited characters from the 50 states series too!

5+++ Royal stars **********

I received this ARC for free from the author in exchange for an honest review. This in no way affected my opinion of the book, or the content of my review.

Talia and Al's romance was a charming love story. They say the best relationships start out as friendships , and Talia and Al's were no different. The only problem was they also started off on half truths and lies by omission on Al's part. Once Talia found out the truth she had to decide on whether to give him another chance or walk away. Will they be able to find there way back to the way things were before the truth cam out or will the truth be more than they both could handle?
I love a good fairy tale complete with a handsome Prince Charming and ms Taylor didn't disappoint . Throw in the quirky and comical supporting characters and you have the makings of a great read. Ms. Taylor and Ms Pierce penned a great funny romantic read and I gave it 4 stars.

Honestly I was a little surprised this was by Ms. Taylor it seemed really dry. Usually her stories are engaging from the beginning to the end and that's mainly because the interaction between the two main characters. The best part of the story is when their getting to know one another but after the story goes down hill from there. Most of the story is of them fighting or her mad with him and then magically she realizes she does want to be with him. It was frustrating and none of the same banter and chemistry from the other books. I give this a 3.5 I have read way better books from this author.

His to Princess was a sweet romance that's purely an escapist fairy tale of a read. It isn't the best book that I've read by this author, but then again it isn't the worst either. It simply is what it is. And that isn't necessarily a bad thing considering how serious the real world has become. There weren't any big surprises, but it's worth reading.

For me, I really liked the time spent at the old castle when Talia and Aldrich (Al) meet, clean up together(you gotta read it to know what I mean) and become friends. The foundation of friendship that these two develop was fun to read. The rest of the book didn't offer any outstanding surprises and just failed to captivate me the way that I hoped that it would. Overall this was a light hearted read that goes over well when you just need a bit of a break. This is a good book for fans of princes finding their princesses where and when they are least expected. I'm giving His to Princess 3 out of 5 stars.

So this is the first book by Theodora Taylor that I have added to my DNF list. I ended up giving up somewhere around 70% into the book. Which was a shame because initially I was really into Talia and Al as a couple. However, once the big "secret" is revealed and the whole pregnancy thing comes into play the story kind of went downhill for me. After they left the castle it felt like the couple lost the attraction and oomph they had before which made me lose interest in the pair. Which was totally unexpected for me since I am usually in love with Ms. Taylor's H/h from beginning to book end.

The premise of the story was very cute and I loved the setting since I always enjoy reading romantic fiction with an AA heroine that takes place outside of the States. And I felt like the scenery and setting of Les Isle de la Victoire were well developed.

Personally I might have enjoyed the book more if it had been historical (the story of the first King in Victoire seemed like an interesting time period) or if the couple had been together alone at the castle for longer and then the big reveal happened closer to the end of the book.

Ultimately, I may come back to finish this book and I may not. But I'd give it a recommend if you're looking for a "royal" read with an exotic twist.

What’s with the funny language by Papy
Is that supposed to be Irish or something.
Because that’s hard to read for me.
And then I skipped to the last chapter and didn’t even want to read the ending
Except for the last two famous words, the end.

I loved this story and of course, there is never any doubt that Theodora is going to knock it out of the Park. This one is a modern fairy tale set in a fictional Country in Europe (I looked it up I wanted it to be real lol) There is a little girl in almost every woman that wants to believe in fairy tales prince charming and all that Jazz and this book fulfills those fantasies quite well.

A Hot Modern Fairytale!!!

Theodore Taylor never fails to deliver the right amount of romance and hot sex in her tales of love. Al and Talia are everything you could wish for in lead characters. Al is brooding, mysterious and handsome and Talia is intelligent, warm and passionate. This story I will definitely read many times!

Happily ever after indeed! A wonderfully charming new age fairy tale romance for the ages. Cinderella move over, because this was certainly enchanting. Everything about Talia and Al made for such a good and in depth story that was ever the exciting page turner. The entire cast of characters were engaging even in moments away from the main arc of the storyline. Our heroine indeed had a heart of gold and our hero was trying to find his way. They had a few things to iron out in the dynamics of their relationship, and trust needing to be regained, but their friendship and undeniable love for each other made it worth it.

T. Taylor writes in a way that makes you want to binge on her books. And this time she teamed up with an equally impressive writer. The work had a great plot and one of the sexiest heroes I've read about in a while. (Although my thing for red heads my be pushing my opinion) Even more so with the fact that his actions of trying to make her stay was the very thing pushing her to leave. Everyone knew they were in love, well with the exception of the heroine. All in all I'm ready for the next installment.

I usually gobble down one of her books in one sitting but I couldn’t even finish this one. The chapters I did read dragged on and on with no real substance to them. A lot of the details didn’t line up (her mamy cleaned the castle every day but the carpets were so filthy, the silver was tarnished, there were cobwebs everywhere and no one even lived in the castle). I’ll be waiting for her next 50 states book in March.

The story was pretty good with a basic storyline of the leading lady seeing this guy and having compassion on him showing him how to clean so that he can earn his keep instead of throwing him out to the elements when he doesn't seem to have any where else to go. Talia is cleaning the castle for her grandmother whom passed away and its her desire to hold on to a piece of her grandmother. She encounters Al and they develop a a distant yet kind of budding friendship where she has this strange attraction to this guy she believes is homeless as they work together to keep the castle presentable in case the royal family wants to come and visit. After they get to know each other and a storm traps them together, magic happens. Out of that magic comes the miracle of life and the story tells of how they will resolve the issue of him not disclosing his true identity and how they move past the deceit.

Shoulder shrug

It was just ok, while I am a huge fan of Ms Taylor and will read it based on her name alone, this one kinda fell flat to me. It wasn't what I'm used to when I think Theodora Taylor and it could be bc of the colab. It lacked the passion and sexy I come to expect from her characters in and out of the bedroom. I felt they didn't know where they wanted the storyline to go, so they ended it. But it was just ok. While I wasn't a huge fan of this. All I need to see is Theodora Taylor on the next one and will read it no hesitation.

What a tangle web….

How do we Girls get so tangled? A few words, a look, a touch, a kiss, and you have a perfect recipe for disaster. As the famous song goes “A Girl In Trouble Is A Temporary Thing”. Talia weaves her way in and out of a very sticky entanglement with a homeless vagrant who turns out to be not a homeless vagrant at all. Now she must navigate the murky waters of love and duty. You will be so filled with joy at the end of this HEA. So sad when one of Theodora’s books end. Great collaboration with Ms Pierce.

A Worthwhile Read

It was a good read. However, I am used to a different type of style when reading some of Taylor's other books. Although I enjoyed the main characters' stories, their actions frustrated me a lot. I kind of wished for Talia's mom, Ella, to appear sooner than she did because I felt she would have been a big help to Talia just by the way her character was set up. She actually did not disappoint, and she provided an interesting twist for the future.

i personally don't think Theodara wrote this book , it must have been the other author who did most of the writing. I absolutely love Theodara and have read 8 of her books and they all have a distinguishing pattern that were non existent here. She has never made me hate her lead female the way i despised this one , overall major disappointment please never collaborate with people again hahahaha i love your writing style without influence of another hahaha.

Slightly Disappointed

The storyline was somewhat interesting. Talks could have been more interesting and her grandfather was totally irritating. He actually took away from the storyline, but perhaps I don't understand island mindset.
Just disappointed in the lengthy beginning and drawn out portion with Talks cleaning the old castle and meeting Aldrich.
Just wasn't a fan, unfortunately.

Don't know how I passed this one up...
Don't know how I passed this one up without reading it. I'm usually on top of following these in order but I guess not. Overall the read was okay, again I think the author needs to have a way of telling which characters are from what story. With so many stories out there's no way to follow along with who's from what. Not in my top five but on the list at the least.

Please I could cry. Al and Talia are so cute 🥹.
And the way I screamed when it was revealed that they live in the same world as the characters in the Theodora’s 50 States book series. I hope to see Al and Talia in future books; even in passing because I love them so much.

…Also, I would actually be really tempted to read a book about Ella and her love triangle. I feel like that would be a really steamy read and I wouldn’t be mad if that became a thing 👀.

This is very different from what TT usually writes.
I wasn't able to connect with the characters.
I found the heroine annoying and not very likeable.
The story dragged a-lot and was boring and bland and it didn't have to be this long, some scenes were completely unnecessary.
This was a very bland read.

Al and Talia

great book. Talia goes to her grandmother 's funeral and ends up staying on the island her mom grew up on. To be closer to her grandmother Talia takes her grans old job cleaning the old Vickie, there she meets Al who is running away from his own problems.

A Tropical beauty and the beast.

Talia and Aldritch's story has everything you can want in a modern fairytale!
I love the book and read it straight through.
It would make a wonderful lifetime movie.
And Theodora, Bianca I'm looking forward to Ella, Bernard and Herve's story !😉

Oh Happy Ever After! Talia is home to help her grandfather after her grandmother passes away. Talia takes on her grandmother's role of looking after the old castle.

When she encounters a scruffy homeless man in the castle, she does what she can to look after him, what follows is too funny.

Dumb. I don't think the authors have ever lived in the tropics specially by the ocean. There is absolutely not way a castle without hvac and good windows would have intact tapestries and wood furniture. His behavior once they leave the abandoned castle is horrible.
