*This is the finale of the Guardians and the Realms series and is not meant to be read as a standalone title*

As the ruling God of Thule, Hroarr's priority is the survival of his world. Gifted with the ancient ability of sjá, he has seen the birth and destruction of hundreds of worlds. This incredible power comes at an enormous cost, yet its toll seems to ease in the presence of a hauntingly seductive healer from Earth.

Sirena’s life is comprised of duty. Duty to her Guardian family, to healing those of her world and, most of all, the overwhelming duty to right the wrongs of her secret and vile bloodline. With everything on her plate a ruthless warlord God from another world is the last thing she needs, no matter what fate and her heated body demands.

Will a dark Destroyer of Worlds bring upon the end of Earth and Thule or will two strong-minded beings fight and discover their own eternal ecstasy?

Warning: Take one possessive, dirty talking Warrior God and one smart, no nonsense Healer; combine and shake things up for explosive results and scorching content meant for mature audiences!

Warning: Take one possessive, dirty talking Warrior God and one smart, no nonsense Healer; combine and shake things up for explosive results and scorching content meant for mature audiences!

Seriously bittersweet, I have been waiting for Sirena's book from the very start, and for her to end the series is almost fitting. She was the pillar of strength, serenity, safety and comfort for the Guardian's. There was no man, outside her Brother Guardian's who was powerful enough to mate with her so all she had was her family and her work. It's hard not to love her dedication and spirit. You can just imagine how excited I was that not only was she getting a mate, but a dirty talking Warrior God, who takes power, cockiness and possessiveness to new heights.
“You invaded my palace. My dreams. Entered my mind, and then endangered yourself by seeking out my very power. And now you’re connected to my soul, Healer. The question is… what will you give me for saving you from your own curiosity?”

Sirena isn't one to play games, and neither does Hroarr. She knows what the fates has in store for them, and he knows what he wants... He would have the seductive healer writhing in his bed, her power making him feel something beyond the darkness and shadows of his numb soul. But it would be stupid of him to think she would bow down to his every arrogant whim without a fight.

He has the power and the knowledge to put the destruction at rest, or at least give the Guardians the fighting chance they need. And his little Guardian witch is proving to mean more to him than all the worlds combined. He would move heaven and hell to see her protected, and if that means playing nice with those she cares for, then so be it.

Eternal Ecstasy was utter erotic paranormal perfection, I LOVED it... Hroarr is simply amazing, he is a man who is rough, raw and hard to love but see him melt under the right woman's hands and he's everything a man should be and more. He infuriated and aroused with ease, and to see him feel again was a beautiful thing. Sirena, had her work cut out for her, lucky for her she's had a lifetime of practice dealing with overbearing protective men, only this time she had the benefit of enjoying her mates body.

I can't find enough words to say how much I love this series, it was one that I immediately fell in love with, that kept true to the overall story line but delivered something different in each book. I was emotionally invested in the characters and the story and was something I always looked forward to reading. It is a magical erotic world where your imagination can run wild and free and just enjoy each and every moment, allowing you to fall in love with each and every one of them. I'm sad that it's over, but I'm beyond happy to have the chance to read them all. This was a happily ever after that was long time coming and it was worth every second.

Eternal Ecstasy is the tenth and final book in The Guardians of the Realms Series. I have been a fan of this series from the beginning, and this final work of art certainly does not disappoint. Setta Jay delivers a perfect conclusion by bringing these characters full circle! To say my feelings are bittersweet about this ending would be the understatement of the century. I have loved these characters throughout each mating, explosive battle, and passionate interlude and to finally have Sirena's story in my hand has been nothing short of perfection!

description
"Before she knew it, his cock was slamming her down hard, making her cry out at the raw pleasure of being filled."
Eternal Ecstasy picks up directly after Storm of Ecstasy. Sirena and the unknown powerful Hroarr have made contact and now that the mating has started the physical draw between them becomes painfully strong. With the fate of the worlds hanging in the balance, Sirena and Hroarr need to find a balance between completing their connection and battling the entities that threaten their existence.

description
"His intention was clear, he was marking her as his own in front of her family while fighting the desire to carry her home with him."
As tension continues to mount, Sirena and Hroarr are spending time in the fight and stealing moments together. As with all of the matings in the series, the passion between the two is intense, and as the physical and emotional bond between the two grows stronger, the bond between them becomes unbreakable.

description
"You please me too much."
Told in dual POV, Eternal Ecstasy is another perfect blend of complex characters, non-stop action, and smoking hot passion. Setta Jay has created a world in which I love to escape to. The Guardians are strong characters who love their mates fiercely. The relationships between them are strong and as they battle together their loyalty and fierce desire to protect the innocent drives them to succeed. Like a blockbuster movie, every second spent in this world will keep you captivated from the first moment until the very last.

Overall, Eternal Ecstasy is a must read for fans of this series and paranormal romance fans need to dive in with book one Ecstasy Unbound right now. The passion, action and unforgettable characters are sure to please. Every moment spent with these characters is one that I will never forget. I love this series and as sad as I am to say goodbye, I cannot wait to see what Ms. Jay has in store for us next!

I'm sad to see the Ecstasy end…?

Eternal Ecstasy is the last book in the Guardians of the Realms series and I’m a wee bit sad. Setta Jay writes paranormal smut that ticks all my boxes. Each instalment has an exciting and action-packed storyline, interesting characters and the kind of smutty smut that has me smirking, squirming and smiling. But, the best part of Setta’s books is her bossy, possessive and growly heroes. I love to step away from reality and fall for men who beat their chests, need their mate in touching distance and are happiest when their mate is smirking, squirming and smiling.

This series has an awesome ongoing storyline where the Guardians were created to protect the world from evil. The 12 Guardians appointed are made up of men and women with special abilities and talents. Their jobs have given them a single-minded focus which has, up till now, distracted them from their loneliness. Each knows that they are destined to find their one true mate and no other will be able to fill that space.

As evil comes closer to destroying the world, their true mates come into their lives to make them stronger, fiercer and happier than they ever dreamed. The Guardians have always been determined to save the world but now, they have even more reason to.

I’m so excited we’ve finally come to Sirena’s story. It has been a struggle seeing her watch her fellow Guardians finding their forever mate. Sirena is happy to see her brothers and sisters (Guardians) find their one but she’s also jealous.

Sirena wants and needs someone to adore her and put her first for a change. As the healer, her job is to see to others health and well-being and it’s normally at the cost of her own. At the end of Storm of Ecstasy - #9, we get a glimpse of where and who her destiny is aligned with and to be honest, I wasn’t at all sure how things would go.

Hroarr (picture Jason Momoa) is the ruling God of Thule. His job is very important and he doesn’t have time for things like feelings. After meeting Sirena, he decides that he will keep her as payment for helping the Guardians fight the darkness and save their world. He’s a God, and what Hroarr wants, he gets. Funny thing is, Sirena is not so keen to become his pet or sexual slave...just because he says so. Turns out that this God may have to actually set aside some time to talk to this woman…THE HORROR!!

What follows, is a very different kind of mating than what we have seen previously. Sure, it’s great that they aren’t all the same but to be honest, I missed seeing the FRENZY take hold. Both Sirena and Hroarr struggle with their feelings and connection. Hroarr knows that he has an unusual need for Sirena but doesn’t understand the feelings attached to the need. Slowly we get to see their communication lead to a better understanding of each other and when they share their histories…it all makes sense.

Well, the Darkness came and all the Guardians, mates and good Gods unite to fight the baddies. The action was exciting and I could picture the ending scenes as they played out.

I enjoyed Eternal Ecstasy. I was a wee bit disappointed that Sirena’s mate took awhile to get into the swing of things when it came to being possessive and nurturing. It definitely came but it lacked the overwhelming frenzy that I’ve come to enjoy.

It was fantastic to see all of the Guardians and their loved ones fighting together to beat the Tria and the Darkness that comes with them. The little glimpse into the future put a big goofy smile on my face.

I’m sad that the Guardians of the Realms is over but I’m excited to see what Setta Jay comes out with next.

Spoiler warning

Seriously??? I know this is smut focused and all, but it is also PNR and that is a genre with fucking plots. Naturally, I expected to be at least, treated like I have a couple of brain cells. Not this innocence saved the day and they lived happily ever after bullshite. And THAT is a bullshite!

Nothing sexy, just whiny people talking and talking and bam magic baby takes care of stuff in a minute. Okaaay then, me and my brain and my camel are crossing off this author of my tbr list for good, before riding into the sunset.

Ever read a book in a series, get to the end, stop and think for a moment, and realize that you need to go back and give ALL THE BOOKS five stars? That's where I'm at right now. This author continued to blow my mind with each and every book, leading me to the moment of mass destruction, and making me fall in love with these characters so deeply I can't stop thinking about them.

With Eternal Ecstasy, you'll find:
💞 Sirena, a Guardian and the strongest healer in the world. She was tasked with finding mates for the Immortals, but she was always called upon to heal warriors and their females alike. Throughout the series, she had to come up with new and unique ways to help her family deal with the mating without any hope that she'd find a mate for herself. That is until a god from another world, the world of Thule, came into the picture and he was absolutely perfect for her. He was strong enough to dominate her beast and would be the turning point in the war against the coming darkness.
💞 Hroarr, the ruling God of Thule. He had the entire world on his shoulders. Gifted with a power from his Creators, he had the ability of sjá, which allowed him to see the beginning and the end of worlds, and after seeing so much destruction, he shut himself off. He became numb to everything but keeping everyone safe... until Sirena came into his life. She woke him up, touched his heart, and soothed the immense power held in his soul.
💞 the darkness has come and even with the weapons Hroarr has created, there's no guarantee that they'll beat it back. Can you imagine going through the mating frenzy in the midst of utter chaos? The world may be ending but we need to have sex all the time!

I don't usually recommend books. I tend to think the way that I rate and review the books I've read speaks for itself. However, I highly recommend all of the books in this Guardians of the Realms series by Setta Jay. If you like intricate, detailed, and entertaining plots... she's got you covered. If you (like me) think that hot sex is required in your paranormal romance reads... she's got you. Amazing characters, dynamic backdrops, intense stories and explosive chemistry are what you'll find and you'll love this series as much as I did!

Eternal Ecstasy is a five-star read! I could sit here and tell you how fabulous, sexy, strong, and magical these characters are and every nuance that happened and how it made me feel and think, but I won’t. Why? Well, friends, if you’ve made it this far into the series you already know. I mean, it’s book ten. You stuck around for a reason. What I am going to tell you is that I wasn’t a fan of book one. “WHAT?!?!?!” I hear you exclaiming. I gave it a three-star rating with a spoiler warning and the reasons why in my Goodreads review. Three stars.

Forward ahead a year later. I receive the sweetest e-mail from author Setta Jay, asking if I would like to read more of her series. She’d taken my somewhat critical review as intended: not with malice, but with an open mind and a thoughtful attitude. How could I not give this series a second chance?

Well, here we are at the end of the series and I have rated every book since then four stars and higher.
So, I’m not gonna give you a review of her work, but a review in adjectives of the person as I know her. Smart, innovative, well thought-out, risk-taking, observant, thoughtful, courageous, funny, and imaginative. All these things are evident in her work and correspondence.

Five Stars for Setta Jay and the Gaurdians of the Realms

I think Hroarr might have tied with Drake for my favourite guy in this series. I loved him and Sirena together, their relationship formed so naturally even with their rocky start. I was glad we got to catch up with all the other characters and you really felt that the author put her all into making this the best book it could be for the readers. I'm sad that the series is over but I've very happy with how it ended. I loved the little prologue where we got to see them all happy. I'm looking forward to reading more from Setta Jay and her amazing world building abilities.

Well the final book is here and if it's a battle royal you are hoping for then you won't be disappointed as so many elements come together in this story. The Guardians of the Realms have always been entertaining with their passionate matings but this time it's the turn of quirky Sirena, the healer who has helped so many but she's paired up with the insanely, arrogant ( not to mention smoking hot) Hroarr who doesn't remember how to feel or does he?
So yes this is a romance driven story but it's the world building that grips this reader. Obviously as the last in the series there is a lot for the author to tie up but never fear she does it in fabulous style. The Thulians are needed to help cage the Earth Gods but there is still the threat of the evil Tria who felt unfortunately remarkably absent for much of this book. All our favourite characters get to take a bow as they converge not only on old enemies but also a much darker threat that could see world's colliding with devastating consequences.
For some reason the romance between Sirena and Hroarr seemed smoother than what previous couples have experienced and I'm happy to say they are left to decide things for themselves. That doesn't make things easier but it allows them and here I'm thinking particularly of Sirena to take back a little control. Fear not though as Hroarr is no pussycat just a male who knows what he wants and no one will stop him. Honestly it was high time Sirena got a man in her life and this Warlord God of a male is perfect for her but you might not initially warm to him!
A lot does happen in this book but for some reason we end up being told about it and not shown. Yet when everything shakes down at the end its non stop and so relentless. There are moments of horror and the fear that maybe just maybe the Guardian's and their allies are about to come unstuck. We get sadness and sorrow but then the author throws in a surprise that is so sweet you will want to cheer!
This has been a wonderful series with its mythological characters stepping up and constantly surprising this reader but it really does need to be read in order. I can happily say there's none of the icky threesome stuff that never really made sense. There's even an epilogue that's a little cheesy but still made me smile. I'm sad it's over but unfortunately this wasn't my favourite in the series but the last third of this book just blew me away. If you enjoy paranormal romance that sizzles then this series with its protective males and sharp sassy heroines is one you need to read.
This voluntary take is of an advance reader copy from Netgalley and is my honest opinion

Eternal Ecstasy is the final installment in the Guardians of the Realms series by Setta Jay. It’s all been leading up to this one explosive world altering event for the Guardians.

It’s always sad to say goodbye to characters that have entertained you. I do hope that we might get to return to this world again; either with novellas or a spin-off. The world has been fascinating, the characters are memorable, and the writing is fantastic.

Sirena, I have loved her since the moment she was introduced. She is such a workaholic and devoted to what she does. Hroarr, Alpha and Dominate. His word is law. This couple just didn't seem to connect like the others did for me. I didn’t feel that soul mate bond between them. Their mating was not the typical mating we have seen in the other books. I liked that it was different and their romance was super-heated, but my issue and reluctance with this couple is due to Hroarr. At first he was too much, but once their mating started to progressing things changed and he ended up not being so bad. I still don’t love him, but I don’t hate him either. It’s middle ground for me with Hroarr.

I loved all the mind-blowing surprises we got. Some were happy and some were heartbreaking. The ending epilogue was: Wonderful! Sweet! Adorable! It gave us a look at the life of all the Guardians and Mates. Awww!

What a wonderful series and a lovable end. I highly recommend the Guardians of the Realms to those who love unique worlds, characters, and a lot of steamy romance.

Ten million gazillion claps for Setta Jay!

This series was phenomenal and I couldn't put it down! And my girl Sirena finally got her HEA and I couldn't be happier for her. Even if she did have to work her way into her Warrior God's heart and soul.

There is literally so much I want to say about this book but I can't find the words right now. I'm speechless. It was just ugh SO GOOD!

I can't remember the last time I read a series of this length this fast. But I know what I'm starting now: Destined to Crave

Bless you, Setta Jay, you wonderful goddess. I bow to you.

This book is bittersweet for me. I’ve completely fallen in love with this series and sad to see it come to an end. This world Setta Jay has created was fun, intense and sometimes a bit confusing with all the new terminology, but definitely impressive.

I loved how she created characters that are so different from one another, yet they bonded as family and had each other’s backs. I’m a super hero junkie so it’s no wonder I fell for these guardians who each had their own power and drive to protect, just like my favorite Marvel characters. This series would make such a great movie or more likely HBO series with all the heat she created between bonded mates.

Speaking of bonded mates, Setta Jay has the best Alpha males! I’m such a sucker for a manly man that is 100% all about his female. The possessive, protective and dominant males that make you swoon! Her heroines are just as much of a draw to the series. I love when an author pairs a very dominant male with an equally sassy and strong female. Each heroine in this series was equals to their very strong mates. This was erotica at its best!

For the final book in the series, it ended perfectly. Everything came together as it should and I loved the journey. I’m excited to see what this author will create for us next!

It's over.

I really had fun with this series. There was probably too much smexy even for me but not enough to put me off. I mean it's smexy time so it's not like it was unwanted!! This series was exactly what I needed while unwell and absolutely saved me.

We end with the lovely Sirena and ruling God of Thule Hroarr. Hroarr is a bit of a knob but not to worry, he tones it down by the end and we like him!

I kind of wanted this one to be a bit longer as it all finished up so quickly but we do get a pretty detailed epilogue and it was a challenge trying to remember everyone but I loved getting an update on all the Guardians are their mates.

The most surprising thing about this series is that I really got into the overall story and I enjoyed pretty much everyone's book. I started out looking purely for smut but I got a nice fun story and became invested in everyone. What more can you ask for!!

This is the conclusion to the Guardians of the Realms series. And secondarily it's Sirena's and Hroarr's story. I'll admit that there's a LOT going on with this particular series. It should not be read as a standalone but Ms. Jay does a good job inserting reminders for the abundance of characters and side stories that have been involved in this series. I'll admit that my only little bit of disappointment was the small amount of actual interaction between Sirena and Hroarr. A lot of their interactions were referenced after the fact. With all the other story points going on I know it had to be hard to give these characters a piece of their own story. It was there but I wanted more. The stuff that we did see, especially near the end were sweet. Bravo to Ms. Jay. This series had to be a doozy to write but I'm so happy you persevered and gave us these books.

I love this story, but this was not my favorite. I loved seeing everyone in this installment. I am glad that Sierra got her mate, but I really didn't like him. They just didn't seem to connect like the others and the didn't give off that soul mate bond. I just thought he was a jerk ad when my two favorite characters, Pathos and Drake don't like him that tells me something.

I feel bad I couldn't love love it. It was a great series and I enjoyed it. I would like to thank Ms Jay for the ARC! I am always honored to get one from you! Great writing! Can't wait to read your next adventure.

Sometimes you get to a point at the end of a bag of Flaming hot cheetos and you know only the crumbs are left but you can't help upending the bag so you get every.last.crumb. That was me with this book. I was so sad to see it end I ended up reading the entire thank you note, the coming soon note and the about the author section (even though I've already read this with the first couple books I read of hers)

The guardians of the realms series is hands down 1 of my all time favorite paranormal romance that i have ever read. It has great possessive, protective alpha males, Sexy, smart and kickass heroines and great worldbuilding storyline to boot. The writing flows so seamlessy you can imagine exactly what the book is about and that helps hook me to the story.

Sadly Eternal Ecstasy is the last book in this series. I heard there is going to be a spin off- keeping my fingers crossed! This story is about the last of the guardians Sirena, She finally found her mate in Hroarr but she knows nothing about him and upon first meeting him he is a tad arrogant. Ok alot arrogant but we love arrogance! Not to mention HOT, whewwww ...**eyes glazes over***

Anywho, Hroarr agrees to help the guardians only if he gets Sirena, I know jerk move but he's feeling the pull and all he knows is he wants her and he will have her. Sirena ends up agreeing because the Darkness is coming and he has a way to help. Between all this happening they do get to know each other more, sexy times of course are included. I was getting a little scared in the end because it seemed like the book was close to ending and yet the battle wasn't happening yet. I didn't want it to feel rushed you know. I shouldn't have worried. The battle happened, Everything was explained and it DIDN'T feel rushed at all, it felt natural and I couldn't be happier with how everything ended.

Bonus was the Epilogue it was super cute! I love Nastia! " I will cut you!" Muahahahaha This will definitely a series that calls to be re-read from time to time.

What a great finale to the The Guardians of the Realms series. Serena's story was exciting as she was feisty with a very possessive God. I've always loved Serena and I am so happy she found a suitable mate. I really enjoyed when they both didn't want anything to do with each other. It made me giggle when they were trying to stop something that couldn't be.

Setta! Those last chapters were so intense! The suspense and the anxiety were well worth it with that ending though - you know those black wings get to me! (Wow I just used three exclamation points in three sentences; no shame).

I am sad that this series is over, but it was extremely entertaining. Thank you for the summary of the past books at the beginning. Really appreciated!

Re read on june 2020

Hroarr needed a slap on his face lol. I feel like the book dragged a bit until the finale and then everything was going super fast. But still i really enjoyed it and i loved the epilogue (but i wouldn't mind if it was a bit longer). I can't wait to read about their kids !

First read in february 2017
Annnd it's a wrap !!

I wasn't a big fan of Hrroar in this book and it felt like some parts were hurried but overall i had a very good time and those last chapters were suspenful as fuck. Everythings goes so fast that honestly i was a little lost.

It was a really good serie, one i'll recommend without hesitation if you are into parnormal erotic romance, good story and interesting characters !!!

Bye guardians, hope to hear about you in others books by Setta Jay ;)

It’s hard to believe that this series has come to an end, but Hroarr and Sirena made a good couple to hold it together. It took me a little while to warm up to Hroarr, but as I read, I realized that was part of the story and that it would take a strong and patient person like Sirena to crack his shell. As expected, their romance was super-heated, and flowed well with all the dire destruction going on around them. A few spots seemed rushed or crowded, but overall, it was an exciting wrap up to the series. This is not a standalone novel, so you will need to read the others if you haven’t already.

It’s been a long while since I’ve finished a series and actually felt satisfied with the conclusion. But I do find I can “let go” of the Guardians series when it ends the way it has. But we still had to get through the ever darkening fate of the world and one hell of a mating to get to first. At this point, I’m just going to free-flow my thought in a slightly spoilery way…
• Hroarr, Hroarr, Hroarr… you misunderstood alpha male. You may appear to be arrogant, demanding, and unyielding, but once you got the situation with Sirena, understood your own feelings, and as a reader I was able to understand you better – dang!!! I know everyone just added a new book boyfriend to their list.
• In previous books, I never got a good sense about Sirena, except that she was a workaholic trying to make everything better. Getting to know more about her personally, her sometimes conflicted feelings about her mate, and her feelings towards her father was very enlightening. I always enjoy the different character perspectives, and Sirena’s was no exception.
• Spa and Velspar… those crazy cats! I wish we could hear their inner monologues. Yes, I know they’re cats, but they definitely know what’s up!
• I don’t know if there are many authors who can write a sex scene like Setta Jay. This is her 10th book of the series, and the sexy times are always different and exciting. Every experience is different for each couple, and it’s amazing to get to read. I hope that doesn’t change in her upcoming works.
• Lucy!!! OMG, was she not perfect? Also, Gregoire and “Papa’s princess”. I knew there was a reason I loved him so!
• The damn Tria! I’m glad to see a fitting conclusion to the havoc they were wreaking, but unfortunately not before some major sadness (don’t want to spoil it!). Random thought, for some reason I never pictured the Tria as having physically human features, but that’s just me.

I know I thought and felt so much more while reading this book, so I was attempting to go back through to find specific parts of it to discuss, and found myself just reading it again. It’s just that good. I’ve loved each book of this series so much, that I’ve been left still thinking about it for days afterwards. This is easily one of my favorite series to read, and I am so looking forward to what Setta brings next!

Review:

I have followed this series from the very beginning, so I am duty bound to write about it. Let me just clarify one thing, you can not read this book as a stand-alone and expect things to make sense. The plot-line is far too evolved to make any judgement or correlation, and the same disclaimer has been made by the author at the start of the novel, though she has also provided a succint summary of the story that has evolved so far.

Comig to the plotline, I am extrmely happy that the author has maintained the authenticity of the content with all due diligence and given it every opportunity to bloom like the rest of the predecessors of the series, despite the fact that this is a culmination to the entire series. The storyline is combustive alone with the drama of the impending finale. The characters definitely added to the plot with their explosive chemistry. The overall dynamics of the book will keep the readers engrossed till the very end, a guarantee from a reader who just finished the bool and is writing this review.

The title of the book is in pace with tone of finality of the book, while the cover image reflects the raw appeal of an erotica.

My opinion: I am just glad that I finished the series with the same satisfaction that I started with.

My rating: 4.5 out of 5

That made me laugh especially with the returning meddling lynxs getting into trouble again. Totally enjoyed this, the whole caveman act with Hroarr was annoying to me but liked he let up later. I will agree with another review about worrying that the book was coming to the end and the battle did not happen yet. You DEFINITELY need to at least read the book before this. Loved how we got to see Ty the island owner again. Can not wait for the coming soon news in the future.Would like to point out that erotica is not my go to genre but Setta Jay's writing pulls me in for the story.

Damn I love this series. And Sirena landed herself one badass mate or maybe I should say badass caveman mate. Hroarr's the alpha of the alpha's, seriously BADASS. Gonna go ahead and call dibs right now to get that out of the way, because I adored him and he wasn't like the other God manwhores, so he has my total devotion. And he adores her, so win, win.

I really wanted to do a shout out for Velspar & Spa, I freaking loved those two badass cats.....that's why they get their own little paragraph. I loved their naughty meddling, when they transported Sirena in Hroarr's bathroom, while he was in the shower....laughed so hard *shake my head*. These two were so protective of Alyssa's baby, Lucia, not that Lucia needed it because she too was badass and could take care of herself and her damn parents.

This is the last book of the Guardian series (says in weepy tone) and it was definitely the best. I loved seeing all the characters grow and find their mates. This book ties everything together and both worlds come together to try and save earth. I'm not going to lie, it may be the best ending to a series that I, personally have ever read. Loved it. And she even shows us an epilogue 10 years into the future *sigh*. I'm hoping if we are really good and subtle with our hints that she will give us another novella when the kids are grown....*hint, hint, nudge, nudge*. Setta Jay thank you for 10 amazing books and I hope you continue to write in this genre, because sweetie....you rock it. Thank you.

All good things must come to an end but boy did it go out big. I think from the beginning of this series I worried for Sirena...will she ever find her boo? I loved her pin-up style and the fact that she handled the fellas really well.
It is so difficult for me to give reviews without spoiling the story but I will try. The story begins where the last left off, Sirena watching Hroarr, long hair, beard having, tan, in the shower (let's just pause right there). As with the other stories we know they are mates, well Sirena does this, however is all new to Hroarr. He is the most arrogant guy ever...yes, worse than Hades LOL, but we find out why. We find a lot of surprises as a matter of fact.
I think my favorite part about this book is that Mrs. Jay, knows it will end and she writes it as such. She gives us closure throughout the story not haphazardly, it is thoroughly written out in detail. She brings every character we have met before back throughout the story. We are not left to wonder "what happened to....?" She lets us know. This is one of the best endings to a series I have read and definitely a top 5 in paranormal romance series. She has done it. Setta Jay has the most memorable sex scenes in romance. As I have told Setta Jay herself.."this please me"

This one had all the action and steam I expected from the last book in the series. It's sad to see the series end, but it definitely ended in the best way. I think the only thing I was missing was more of Hroarr's conflicting thoughts on his feelings for Sirena. He'd basically become completely unfeeling for such a long time and so feeling was very new to him, so I think seeing him struggle more to understand what was going on would have satisfied me a little more.

ARC REVIEW

*This is the finale of the Guardians and the Realms series and is not meant to be read as a standalone title*

OMG OMG OMG!! Patiently waiting for Sirena's story paid off! Man talk about an intense conclusion. Everything has built up to this point, everything the Guardian's have been preparing for has lead up to this book. It is exciting, intense, hot as hell (I think my glasses just steamed up kind of hot!) and Hroarr turns out to be such a burnt marshmallow. Damn good writing I am so sad to see this series end.

Hroarr, one of the Gods in the other dimension, (think Jason Mamoa) has agreed that stopping the Darkness from destroying Earth would benefit them all, especially since he just found his mate, Sirena, the Guardian and healer, the beautiful siren raised by Aphrodite. Hroarr has a way to defeat the Darkness that is working it's way to Earth but he has demanded that if the Guardian's want his help he get Sirena in payment. Drake and Pothos are beyond furious, Gefn is dumbfounded by her brother's barbaric manner and Sirena and Hades are the only ones really thinking it through. Sirena feels the mating bond even though they have yet to touch. She knows she has to do this for more than just the barter but for herself also. Things are worse than they seem the Darkness is closer than they thought and now they are rushing to get everything done in time.

Overall, I think it was the best book of the series it was a great ending to the series.

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~

This is the tenth and final book in the series. I would absolutely recommend that you read these in order. In case you have forgotten any details (or really feel the need to read this as a standalone), Ms Jay kindly gives a quick primer at the beginning of the book.

We had a hint at this pairing at the very end of the previous book, but the course of their relationship does not follow the same mating frenzy as earlier couples. But Hroarr is busy trying to save the world, and takes a while to recognise Sirena's value. Given how she has been invaluable as a healer through the whole series, it was only right that she gets her chance. And once they do work things out, oh, Ms Jay turns the heat up in her own indomitable style ... burning hot and extra steamy!

The underlying story through all the books is wonderfully complex, and very engaging. It has grown to such a crescendo that it was difficult to believe that it could be resolved, but of course it is, and in a very exciting and satisfying way. Inevitably the whole team are needed, so we get to enjoy seeing them all again. I have loved reading this series that a very vivid and well read imagination has created for us to enjoy. I know that should I have a window of opportunity, I will be reading them all one after the other to get the full force of the story in one go.

Thank you Ms Jay for sharing this super sexy, and very imaginative series.
