I’m filthy rich and used to getting everything I want: A yacht, jet skis, a private plane and plenty of f*cking women. But my one rule is never to mix work and pleasure. An office fling isn't worth losing my lucrative law firm.
Now I have a spunky young secretary named Ruby. I also have a dilemma. Because I want Ruby in a way I've never wanted anyone. My c*ck is as ready as my mind is hesitant. I'm her much older boss— old enough to know better.
I can tell by the way Ruby looks at me: I make her knees weak and her panties wet. She thinks she wants me. For her very first time. But she doesn’t know what it is she’s asking for.
I don’t just want her on my desk, on my floor, on my lap. I want her tied up and begging me to do whatever I want with her. Taming her will be quite a challenge. Ruby’s no pushover. She has a mind of her own. I’m beginning to suspect she also has some dark secrets. Her own past, mixed with my present desires, could get us both into a lot of trouble.
Tying her up could take me down. But I don’t let anyone's rules f*cking stop me from getting what I want. Not even my own.
*Please, Boss is a standalone dirty office romance with no cliffhanger and no cheating. It features a dominant billionaire alpha male and a feisty BBW who earn their happily ever after.
Juliana Conners writes romances you can get lost in, about addictive bad boys and the luscious, curvy ladies who win their hearts. She’s a part-time lawyer and full-time mom, who prefers to write whenever possible!
Juliana aims to live by the Omar Khayyam motto: “Be happy for this moment, for this moment is your life.” In addition to writing, she enjoys reading, traveling, skiing and listening to music… preferably all while in the company of her husband and their two young sons.
Cameron Sanchez is one of the co-founding lawyers at the Law Firm of Marks, Sanchez & Reed. He is extremely wealthy & use to getting whatever he wants. He has one rule for himself to never mix work & pleasure. Ruby Mansfield is a self-taught feisty computer coder working as a 'floater' at Marks, Sanchez & Reed. She has reinvented herself to escape her unpleasant past & hopes no one finds out she is not who she says she is. Ruby happens to come to Cameron's attention one day in the office while explaining her new filing system. For the first time in his career, Cameron finds himself attracted to one of the young women working in his law firm. He can't get her off his mind even though he tells himself that nothing can come of it. Work brings them together & they both harmlessly flirt a little. Cameron then finds himself losing his long time secretary & needs to move fast to find her replacement. He believes that Ruby is the right person for the job because he has decided that his one rule is about to be broken. Ruby is hesitant to apply for the secretary job because she doesn't think she has the skills but when a fellow co-worker gives her encouragement, Ruby applies. Ruby is given the job & when she is finally left to manage Cameron's desk, he makes it very clear he is the boss. He especially likes tying her down while taking her in his office & in the file room. They are both excited by the trill of almost being caught while doing dirty deeds. Ruby is more than just a plaything, she is a capable employee & provides Cameron with information that will help with a client he has pending. But when the information Ruby has obtained is presented the client fights back & claims it was obtained illegally. Ruby is caught in an unfortunate situation & Cameron has to let her go. Will Ruby ever get the chance to tell Cameron the truth about herself? Does Cameron care enough about Ruby to find out the truth? Will Ruby's secrets ruin any chance she may have had with Cameron?
Please, Boss is the second book involving the alpha male lawyers at Marks, Sanchez & Reed. You don't have to read the first book, Yes, Boss, in order to keep up with this one but the back story does help. This is another older alpha male wants a younger woman story with a take no prisoners attitude. Cameron is dominate in his way of wanting to take control of his life, his cases & his love affairs. Though the later are normally brief because he is not interested in commitment. The young Ruby changes all this for him with her smart mouth & submissive ways behind closed doors. In the end it turns out they are more alike than either of them knew. This book is meant for mature readers!

OH YUM!!! This office is definitely a place I need to work for!
Poor Cameron is having a bad day. The judge is biased, he lost and that never happens. Now back at the office he finds out his secretary of 20 years is leaving....can this be happening. Just before he gives up hope, this spunky girl appears and he is intrigued. Then she has put together a filing system that is making everyone's job easier and she is at the ready to help him with the files he needs. As she walks away, all Cameron do is see her and wish he was more like his partner in the office and take her under his wing - sort of speak here. Definitely things are looking up.
Ruby has a past, one she prefers to keep in the past. She is not that person anymore, she is however happy to have this "floater" job in this office. She actually really enjoys it. Then she hears that Cameron's secretary is leaving, and Ruby (being hot for Cameron) let's herself be persuaded to apply for that position. She has a different, more versed, way of doing things. She is a coder for starters, and she is tech savvy, all the things this office, and Cameron needs. If only she could get him to really notice her.
The day starts with Ruby along with a couple of partners and Madilyn (Asher's mentee - from Yes, Boss) intervierwing and going over everything, when who shows up and joins in?? Yep, Cameron. He is too intrigued by Ruby. He is having a hard time following his rules of not becoming involved. She isn't making it easy on him or herself in that department. Then something happens, and instead of telling Cameron and Asher what their finding it, and other than "it's not mine" she is fired. Cameron is stunned and yet convinced this is not the right thing to do. It also now comes to light whose this finding's real owner was and that clears Ruby of the wrong doing. Cameron is going to bring her back to work for him.
There is unfinished business between these two. Yes things have gotten pretty heated and Ruby loses - no actually she GIVES her V-card to Cameron. She actually has had something happen for the better in her life, besides for Cameron. He tries repeatedly to contact Ruby, he thinks it is her ignoring him, and that angers him a little but he does understand. However he is not going to settle for this happening. So he goes in search of her. He remembers what she had told him, when they were asking questions about one another....bingo! Cameron locates her....she is there when he arrives (there is a little bit of a reason how this timing happens) and they talk and heat things up. Things are going to work out for these two, and there is a fantastic happy ending. But I feel this is not the end of their story. Just as with Asher and Madilyn from Yes, Boss. I feel more should and could happen with these couples.
3 Star Kindle Unlimited Read Oh, wow. More of the same... Yes, Boss, Please Boss, More Boss. It's driving me nuts. Sir or Master I get but, Boss??? It just sounds so immature. In addition, it was almost a copy of the first installment. I was extremely disappointed about that.
On a positive note, I'm ecstatic that the author made the submissive woman a strong and intelligent female.
I reviewed and advanced copy of this book. I was s happy to read Jameson’s story. I wanted to know how he was so good at keeping all his conquests a secret. As we know Jameson is pretty much a womanizer wants what he wants and usually gets it. Erin a new employee has peaked his interested at a company gathering and takes charge. Unbeknownst to him she comes from a very religious and protective family, oh and did I mention still a Virgin, but soon to find out. Erin has been having all kinds of impure thoughts with a yearning of being on her own away from her overbearing parents, so when she gets a job there is no stopping what’s coming her way. The attraction is immediate and she can’t help herself and he’s not about to stop, he can’t, there’s just something about her that makes him feel different. This book is deliciously sexy, fun, sweet, hot and I did not see that little twist either. Loved this book, Highly recommend it to everyone!
I feel like I need a cold shower after reading this!! Wow!! It's dirty, hot, smutty and all kinds of delicious!! This book will get your juices flowing! LOL! Seriously, it's a great story line with a very dominant boss and his very quirky secretary!! Yes, I will be reading more of Juliana's work!!!
This was a great, dirty office romance! The chemistry between Cameron, a founding partner at the law firm and Ruby, the lowly floater was intense! The sexy scenes were extremely hot and passionate.
I loved that Ruby was such a strong woman and willing to stand up for what she believed in, even though she was also more than happy to fall to her knees to please Cameron. The intrigue involving Ruby’s mysterious past was a nice bit of suspense in the midst of their office affair. Most of all though, I adored how the tough, hard, workaholic Cameron found himself at Ruby’s mercy. Unable to stop thinking and daydreaming about her, he was completely mesmerized by his attraction to her.
He starts to feel himself falling hard for Ruby, but when her loyalty to the firm is questioned and her dark secrets come to the light, will Cameron defend her and stick by her side or will he protect the firm he’s built from the ground up?
A sexy romance between a commanding, alpha older man and an inexperienced, but feisty young woman.
Told from alternating dual points of view.
Standalone, although characters from Yes, Boss do make appearances (as they all work in the same law firm).
What a great story by Juliana Conners, from beginning to end I was completely engaged in the story of an older alpha male lawyer, Cameron, and a floater, Ruby, in his law firm. When they first meet Cameron is impressed with Ruby and all that she has done for the firm but he wants her in more ways than one. Ruby is new to the firm and is hiding a secret from everyone, including Cameron. When she becomes his secretary he claims her....HOT. When she is caught with something illegal that isn't hers she takes the fall instead of being a snitch and is fired. Cameron realizes that he is in love with her and wants her back but can't find her. When he realizes that what she got caught with wasn't hers he sets out to find her. Will he find her and will she finally reveal her secret? You'll just have to read it and find out...you won't be disappointed. A great hot fun read told from dual POV's!!! *I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book*
Cameron is one of the partners at the firm and Ruby is a floater who becomes his secretary. Sexy times at the office? Please, boss! Oh no, some of the ways Asher acts in this book bug me, and I love him. I know he's not the main character in this story but still. So anyways back to Ron and Ruby. There is a big misunderstanding that could tear them apart, but don't worry, there is a HEA. Oh and the dirty talk is so good. I received an arc of this.
I am voluntarily writing this review for this book I received through arc.
Cameron had a horrible morning he lost this case to an new judge on the bench. When he gets back to the office it was like everyone heard about it. Cameron asked Ruby to find out all the cases that will be up against the new Judge and Baez and she said no problem she will just look up on her filing system on the computer. Asher and Cameron were so surprise when she told them about her systems with colored tab coded. Ruby was so happy he looked at her she had gone and done a happy dance. Cameron’s secretary quit on him as her husband retired and they were moving to Florida.. He had HR put a notice up for anyone that wanted to apply for the job in the company. Cameron is at home thinking about Ruby and she is thinking about him. He goes so far as to talk himself out of his rules. Ruby goes on the interview for the job with Cameron and they told her they would let her know either way. Ruby gets the job and dives into Cameron lust. Finally Ruby and Cameron get busy in him office and they were almost caught. Ruby has been with Cameron in the file room and he always leaves the door slightly open. Ruby is sitting in the filing room ready and when Asher and Cameron come in they see a cap pen and she tells them it is not hers but would never give Katie up. Asher has asked Cameron how much he knew about her tech skills because it seemed that someone hacked in the toy companies computers. Ruby takes off to Madrid after selling her app. Cameron had no idea where she went until Katie mentioned Madrid. Cameron takes the plane and goes after her but had no idea where she would be. He did remember about a place she told him about so how much she would like to go there. Ruby tells Cameron who she really was and about herself. Cameron didn’t care he wanted her and told her to come back to work for him as a tech support. Twists turns makes this a great Read.
Cameron is one of the founding partners in the law firm. He is a player but he never plays at work or at least not until now. He is super attracted to Ruby, a floater assistant in his firm. He wants her enough to break all his rules. Then he hears that his faithful secretary of 20 years is retiring. He hopes Ruby will apply for the job. Ruby is very attracted Cameron too. She isn't planning to always work in the firm. She is also brilliant with design new apps or software to solve the office's problem. She decides to apply for the job of working for Cameron and hopes it will allow them to get closer. She is right and soon the two are having passionate encounters in the office after work. Now Ruby has a problem because she is falling in love with Cameron and she has dark secrets. If she shares them, will it be the end of their relationship? This is a hot steamy read! I voluntarily received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.
This was the second book in the series. Both books can be read as an individual with HEA ending. Would read again as well as other stories from this author since I like the writing style. Overview. Ruby was just a floating assistant in a law firm. She was here working to pay the bills while she makes an app. Ruby loves to code everything. Cameron was a powerful lawyer. He never losses a case, that is until today. When he gets back, he wants all the assistants to pull all files with that judge and appeal them. Ruby steps up and says she will bring him all the hard files in 20 minutes. Cameron is shocked by this spunky girl whom stands up to him and has coded the company's filing system. So is even more excited when he finds out that his assistant for 20 years is retiring in 2 weeks. Now he wants Ruby even more, one as his secretary and as his girl. But will Ruby be up to the challenge of being both?
Insta love, but not really. The main characters had a bunch of stuff thrown at them that should have caused conflict but didn't. Everything was too easy, I like easy books without crazy drama and angst but this book wasn't like that, they just seemed oblivious to the stuff that would have been drama. The main characters from the first book of the series were in this and Asher was horrible in this book. He was mean and rude and disrespectful to the Ron and Ruby and Ron acts like nothing happened. Ugh. I'm reluctantly giving this 3 stars because the H/h were both likable and the sex scenes were pretty good.
The first book was a lot better. I liked how they Asher and Madilyn were portrayed throughout the second book. They weren't forgotten how not series books do. Funny how they all revolve around a virgin and high power lawyer who are playboys. One thing I didn't like is the way Cameron talked to her and referred to Ruby as his whore. Even after he fell in love with her he still referred to her that way. He talked real harsh to her and was real rough sexually with her. Can't wait to see what the next book holds...I know it will be interesting.
I don’t want to let anything come in between us ever again.
We go back to the law offices of Asher, Sanchez, and Reed for this second book in the Boss series. Cameron Sanchez finds himself in need of some help and Ruby could be just what this lawyer needs in more ways than one, if her past doesn't ruin it first. So in love with these guys! Juliana has really worked overtime to make these men and these ladies real and totally hot! Enjoy!!!
Another steamy hot read from Juliana Conners! This is the second book in this series and it was just as great as the first! I loved both Cameron and Ruby. I thought the characters were well developed, as was the storyline. Cameron (Ron) was a definite alpha with a dirty mouth, but he was perfect. Loved the ending! We definitely need more books for this series! I would definitely recommend this book, if you're looking for a quick steamy read!
I thought that number two might not be as good as number one but I was wrong and two has equalled it. Miss Ruby and her Boss have also hit the lusty and the kinky and then the love. As long as the office romance is safe, sane and definitely consensual (there is no coercion - over than a beckoning finger) then this story line is fine with me. These books are a delight to read. Definitely looking forward to number three!!!!
Another book in the series of office romance this time it is Cameron and Ruby with the sexy storyline. Cameron Aka Ron bumps into Ruby in the office and the lustful connection is difficult to ignore. However, Ruby does not make it easy when she has set her sights on losing her virginity to the older more experienced Ron. This book is a true page turner and will keep your attention throughout the story. Fantastic five star read.
Another wonderful book in the Boss series. The references to Madrid are making my heart beat faster. I like it when I see my country represented in books. And I liked Ruby’s backstory so much, it was very well-explained. I would have liked more insights into Cameron’s past, but that’s probably just because I’m sort of obsessed with him. Their dialogues were so good, even when they were just a few selected words. And you know what I mean. Five stars, undoubtedly.
This book is a standalone dirty office romance. Oh my, was it dirty. Love it. Love the characters and plot. The boss is a dominant and the secretary is a sassy feisty woman. This book had my 3 favorite Hs. Heat, Heart, and HEA. No cliffhanger. All I can say is Yes Boss, Please Boss, More Boss! This is a must read. I love Juliana Conners' books. I received this book for my honest review.
*Fans self* Let me just tell you that this book set my kindle on fire!! Cameron says he doesn't want to mix business with pleasure but he can't keep away from Ruby. This was another great office romance with an older man and a younger woman. *I voluntarily read an advanced readers copy of this book *
Juliana Conners has done it once again. I thought Yes Boss was hot but Please Boss is just as steamy and sexy. I loved Madilyn and Asher in Yes Boss and Ron and Ruby in Please Boss will not disappoint either. Their sexual chemistry is off the charts. It's a must read as is all of Juliana's books, you will not be disappointed. I voluntarily read this book for their ARC and I absolutely loved it.
This book is terrible. No romance, no story. No angst, nothing. So many errors. Did the author have an editor? I will not read another book by her. Even the free books that came with this. The main characters were not likeable. Wish I could rate zero. Can't find this book on Amazon to read what others say about it. Never have to read again!
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. HOT HOT HOT!!! Juliana does it again with another awesome older man/younger woman book. I couldn't put this down and savored every juicy scene. Grab a copy for yourself today.
If your going to put short stories in your book you need to let the readers no. I don't buy them that's just me... I didn't think any of them got the story told then it's over. I want buy no more of your books if there like that
Loved the book and characters!! It was full of thrills And chills. Lived that the bikes club was a secret club that protects everyone in the town, and how they dealt with it!!
I'm only reading this whole series because they were all contained within the 99 cent ebook of #4. This one with the second law partner Cameron and his secretary, Ruby, is much the same - kind of cheesy, very sexy with mild BDSM.
Although Ruby and Ron were of different ages, and the age gap was made known throughout the study. It was still one of those stories that you couldn't put down until you were done with it. I usually prefer to read about couples near the same age, but for some reason, their love story was very intriguing!
Another really enjoyable book by the amazing Juliana Conners. The book has humour and you will laugh right along with the characters. The book is fast-paced, the writing is fluid and easily read in one sitting. It’s a standalone book with no cliffhangers.
This book is wonderful. It's in the same world as her previous book and contains some of the same characters. You fall into this book and don't want to put it down.
