Moving onto new villains AND new heroes? Hmmmm... let's see what direction this title is headed in now....
Highlights:
-The battle between Deku and Bakugo continues. Though Bakugo has increased speed, Deku realizes that he can use One-For-All now at 8%, instead of only 5%, and that speed and strength increase helps him surpass Kacchan, or so he thought. Alternating between his fists and kicks (Shoot Style), they seem very evenly matched, though Bakugo wins. All-Might intervenes and helps them both. Bakugo decides that the secret of One-For-All can be kept by him as well.
- For battling at night, both Deku and Kacchan get grounded to the dorm, having to clean them every day. This causes them to miss several days of school, including the announcement of Hero Internships. These, now that they have their provisional licenses, will allow them to gain more real world hero experience.
- When the question is asked as to how internships are different from training, Aizawa brings in 3 students known as "The Big Three", the top 3rd year students. They are:
3) Nejire Hado - a shy guy with an extremely powerful Quirk called Manifest, which allows him to use the characteristics of anything he has eaten.
2) Tamaki Amajiki - a very cute and inquisitive girl with Wave Motion, which allows her to use her energy to create shockwaves, both for damage and for healing
1) Mirio Togata - In addition to enhanced strength, speed, and durability, his Quirk is called Permeation, which allows him to phase through matter, though that also includes his clothes LOL (Note: He isn't shy about fighting nude, but always apologizes for it)
- Togata, in demonstration of his abilities, takes on all of Class 1-A AT THE SAME TIME, defeating them easily. He explains that most of his skill came from working so hard at his internship.
- Overhaul, meets with Shigaraki. Being from the Yakuza, leading the Shie Hassaikai, he runs his organization differently from the League of Villains. When Overhaul claims to want to join together and lead, Shigaraki and the League start a fight. They learn quickly the dangers of Overhaul's Quirk: the disassembling and reassembling of matter, effectively allowing him to blow enemies to pieces with only a touch. They part ways, but may combine together in the future.
- Deku wants to participate in a Hero-WorkStudy, and gets Togata to introduce him to All-Might's former partner Sir Nighteye. Sir Nighteye gives Deku a chance to prove his worth, stating that he must grab the stamp from his hand and stamp the contract himself. Despite being allowed to attack as he wishes, Deku is unable to overcome Nighteye's quirk of Foresight. Thinking he failed, Deku reveals that he wasn't going all out so the rare All-Might merch wouldn't get damaged. This gains Nighteye's respect and he gets hired to be an intern.
- For their first assignment, they are going to be investigating the Shie Hassaikai, a Yakuza gang. Togata and Deku will go out there together. On patrol, they run into a small girl who appears to be injured slightly. Her name is Eri. A man steps out of the alley telling her that she must not bother the heroes. It is Overhaul.
Yet another Volume the ends on a cliffhanger!
