I’ve read a few of these Club books and they have been all been pretty decent. This one is ok too, I wish there had been a bit more with the two main characters though. I love the ranch and what interactions we did get with them, but a month went by pretty quickly, lol. And maybe a bit more extended ending would have been great.

And a few of the sex words kinda made me cringe.... bulbous head, damp petals, rubbing her pearl...

And this, it didn’t totally understand ...
....

“I did. This house is actually built over the old one I had rebuilt about five years ago.
—- He built a house over a house he just rebuilt 5 yrs ago? 🤔

All in all, it wasn’t bad, I just wanted more!

Sexy Quick Read

This was a steamy quick read and probably a nice introduction to the writers style. I liked her characters and enjoyed their development.

I am a huge fan of The Club series and this particular addition was a solid read. Sloan and Langley were interesting, well developed characters who came into this relationship from very different places. He was a mature Dom, she was a novice sub. I liked their interaction, the story moved quickly, overall 4.5 stars.......until the last few pages. I felt a slight bit deprived with the sudden ending and the review dropped a point. Now, in fairness to M.C. Cerny, I've not read any other of her books, I don't know if the endings are usually that abrupt, but she is on my TBR list.
