How much devastation can a single bond handle? Especially when that bond once anchored three points.
Colin, Sydney and Anthony had just hit their stride in their special "V" relationship before hell broke loose. They’ve endured their pasts, their fears, an abduction, and betrayal. Can it endure what they’ve lost? Will their anchor still bind them if it only anchors two points?
It took a series of terrible events for Colin to realize exactly how much he needs Sydney…and Anthony. Without Anthony by his side, Colin begins to pick up the pieces. He has no choice but to be the strength, the shoulder and the shelter that Sydney needs. Sydney is relying on Colin, but even the strong ones will buckle and bend.
Sydney has endured a lifetime of agony and wants to move out of the darkness that fills her past. Even though Sydney’s home, she still feels in the dark as she struggles to understand the hushed secrets of what transpired while she was gone.
While much of the damage lies hidden, it will eventually surface and be met head on. They’re going to have to let go in order to move forward. But how will Sydney move on if she doesn’t have Colin and Anthony?

OMG! I can't even... as if I didn't already love those 3!!!!
Book #5 in the series. Picks up right where book #4 left off. So many questions... how is Sydney? How is Anthony? What condition are they in? What does recovery look like for the 3 of them?
Not quite as many steamy sex scenes but the ones that are in there are smoking!! This is my favorite book by far. You really get inside the characters heads. You feel what they feel. Happy, sad, mad... I felt it ALL! I truly feel like Colin, Anthony and Sydney are dear friends I have known forever.
Cannot wait for the next one.

Right.... here it goes... this is gonna break me writing this....
I have gone on a very hard journey with these books, I felt as though I have lived every detail that is written in them all....I laughed.... I cried... A LOT (I don't cry at books, its just a story, right? Wrong...!!). The author has got to be THE best author I have encountered. Never has a set of books had me so engrossed...so moved...so heart broken, to the point I didn't wanna turn the next page. The emotional turmoil that has stirred in my heart since I first started with "Fragile" is unbelievable. I honestly can say you will never be disappointed with anything the phenomenal author has written.
The 5th book in the Everett Gaming Series had me on tender hooks right from the beginning, wondering what happened to Anthony. If any of you have read "Alone" then you know what I am talking about. I was lucky enough to be given an arc of this book . The story continues about Sydney, Colin and Anthony and the very hard struggle in their special "V" relationship. Things are thrown at them from all directions... and I mean all directions. As if they haven't been through enough with the whole kidnapping.. the Pro Dom... trust issues.... they are to endure a lot more heart break and emotional upset. I felt as though I was living the their lives.. my emotions are all over the place.. I feel like these books are taking over my life... in a good way... I never want these books/series to end. I have been so emotional writing this not knowing what to say about this book.. knowing what happens… thinking about what happens next. I can't say too much about the story as you really need to read it, to live my emotions, to know where I am coming from.
The skill this author has to keep you wanting more is incredible. It makes you want this special "V" that Sydney, Colin and Anthony have... makes you want more.
I am at a loss to what to read now and I know whatever I read with not come anywhere close to this series. I cannot express how much I recommend these books and author. Fantastic writing.
In Lost, book five in Everett Gaming Series, emotions are raw, right from the get go and the beginning of this book takes up where book four left off. We begin to wonder if Anthony is going to survive the stabbing and gunshot wound that he received from his tussle with Paul in the woods, and if Sydney will ever be the same again after what she endured from Paul’s sadistic mind.
Colin is beside himself while Anthony is in surgery, and Sydney is more withdrawn and fearful after her abduction. Once Anthony comes out of ICU, Colin, and Matt, pull strings to ensure he is in the same room as Sydney, so they are all together to try and commence healing.
But Anthony struggles with a number of things. His night at the hands of the pro-sadist haunts him, and killing Paul in the woods causes nightmares. Combine Sydney’s withdrawal and nightmares with Anthony’s and Colin is finding it hard to be the glue to hold them all together, so, Colin packs them up and takes them all off to his place at the beach, to help with their healing.
I feel I should also point out, once again, there are some editing issues (at least in the e-book copy I have), but if that can be pushed aside, the story line continues to keep you glued to the screen to see what happens next. Does their V relationship survive? I recommend reading to find out … but be sure to begin with book one – Fragile, and work your way through. You won’t regret it.
Lost Book 5 in The Everett Gaming Series by Drew Sera This next installment in The Everett Gaming Series is raw, heavy and not sugar coated at all. We are greeted immediately with the fear we all felt at the end of book 4. Anthony has extensive injuries and is in surgery while Sydney is trying to come to grips with being held captive. Colin, on the hand, is working hard to keep the three of them together and healthy. I have to admit I didn’t know what to expect when I started this book. The title alone scared me the most. Wasn’t sure what Alone meant. Did it mean one of our beloved characters dies or leaves the relationship? Imagine my relief when I started reading and that didn’t happen immediately…..deep breath. Being able to read each character’s thoughts on the events that have happened helped to round out this book to give you the perspective from all angles. As with all of the books in this series I found myself eager to turn each page to see where it is going to lead. The emotional scars run deep for Anthony and he is having problems dealing with the visit with Victor (Pro-Dom Sadist). Looking back to previous books in the series we know Anthony had a rough childhood where he suffered physical and mental abuse by his step-father and mother. Anthony has built up walls to keep emotions hidden and do not get close to anyone. Sydney has been able to break down some of these walls however the incident with Paul and her abduction has caused him to quickly build them again. Sydney has been making great strides with her recovery from her Howard days only to be thrust back into being despair. Paul was able to use her worse fears and triggers against her. I will say though she is more resilient then everyone believes and she bounces back quicker than I would have thought. She is very much in love with Colin and Anthony but knows that Anthony needs extra attention. That just leaves us with Colin. He has been the rock during this entire ordeal but I feel there are some cracks in his armor. He is trying to balance his feelings with those of Anthony and Sydney and always second guessing his decisions to ensure no one is hurt. He puts his work life on hold to focus all of his energy on healing Anthony and Sydney but isn’t taking time for himself. To me this book is about dealing with traumatic events in one’s life that require inner strength and understanding when you need to lean on others to heal. Each of our characters are dealing with the events in a similar yet different fashion. Anthony internalizes everything and doesn’t want anyone to know what is going on in his head. Sydney is trying to voice her fears while balancing her need to please her Masters. Colin on the other hand vocalizes his feelings within the household as well as with close friends and Chris. Matt and Blake have been keeping close tabs on the three of them trying to help without overstepping. Things get heated and feeling are hurt. Colin decides to take them away from everyone and see if they can work on rebuilding the dynamic they had before the abduction. Will it work? You are going to have to read to find out. This is a long journey for these three and there are many ups and downs. Will they survive and is their love strong enough to hold it together? If you have enjoyed the first books in this series and you survived the heart wrenching book 4 then this is a must to read. Drew has created a set of characters that are more realistic then most we read about. There are still many unknowns that I can’t wait to read in the next book.
WALK WITHIN THEIR FOOTSTEPS - MUST READ EXPERIENCE!! I believe you need to experience Colin, Anthony, and Sydney for yourself by reading this entire series. Walk within their footsteps. Only then, can you fully appreciate their tumultuous journey and just how amazing people are - in their strengths to overcome tragedies, when their weaknesses are exposed, and their search for forgiveness. We can falter, we can take wrong turns, we can test the limits of our interactions with loved ones but if surrounded in love and care anything is possible to achieve. A journey that has been long, extremely painful and breathless with moments of utter joy and the sexual freedom to explore. Your emotions are frequently tested, you will need to walk away to rebalance your feelings, your thoughts and breathe deep.
Their continual struggle with each other while dealing with their personal tragedies and insecurities, guilts, regrets. LOST is aptly named, like each of the books within this series. They are LOST in their direction, vulnerable to their emotions and confusion. They are so LOST within the burdens of their guilts and regrets. They have LOST pieces of themselves through the awful clutches of a sadistic, vengeful man. The question is how and can they find themselves as individuals and in their beautiful V relationship. To know It’s ok, that we need to sometimes disconnect and recharge life’s batteries, to then reconnect. It’s ok to voice frustrations when filled with guilt and pain. it's ok to feel LOST when feeling shattered. They will be given opportunities but need to make a concerted effort to re-establish connections, trust and know that together they can endure whatever life throws at them. To remember that when one feels weak… together they are strength, support and love.
Each book has been and continues to be a melting pot of emotional angst, despair, hurt and let’s go there - awesome sexual chemistry and descriptive scenes. I find myself thinking that to have any relationship of worth… your journey will alway experience highs and lows. Maybe not to the extreme depths that Colin, Anthony and Sydney endure, but we all have beautiful and tragic stories that tell of our journey. Nothing worth having is going to be easy to reach but when it happens the journey is ultimately worth the prices we pay along the way, both as individuals and couples to have fulfilling, lifelong relationships.
Stocking up again on the tissues… ready for the emotional roller coaster of tears to come as OURS - the next book in this amazing series brings Colin, Anthony, and Sydney’s story to it’s conclusion. While the story and series is predominately Colin, Anthony and Sydney - do not discount the amazing love and committed support of their friends. That's FAMILY right there. Drew Sera is that gifted writer you will follow into the depths of darkness, ride the roller coaster, to get to the light on the other side…
"love is dangerous, it drives people to do almost inhuman things.Pushes them to survive..."
In Lost, the reader is swept into a whirlwind of emotions as our beloved V and their "family" struggle to face their own guilt and fears. When you have someone's best interest at heart, how hard is "too hard" to push to help them find closure? The pain, both physical and emotional is palpable with each turn of the page. Colin: "... I am not doing right by Sydney or Anthony... just kind of feeling my way around a dark room and hope what I do has a positive impact" GOD I JUST LOVE ME SOME COLIN!!! With any emotional crisis, you need a great support system...but SOMETIMES you need to focus on you and recharge...and no better place to relax, breathe, and get back to you, than at the beach. While our beloved Colin, Sydney, and Anthony have their first taste of freedom of being a visible V while in Cali, it's far from sunshine and roses. Anthony: "...Colin, sometimes I hate you for being stronger than me and it tears me up inside. I don't know what to do or to think. When I see you two I don't feel connected anymore"
Sydney, my Lord I can't sing this characters praises enough! To have gone through all she has, and STILL have such a loving soul! Let alone her strength to push forward! Sure, there are setbacks, but my God this woman is amazing! 💚 (i wish i had green M&M emojis)
YES, there is 🔥 soul shattering sex, and i LOVED every second of it! You will too! And give me the M&M game ANYTIME!!!
Can Colin, Sydney, and Anthony reconnect after such traumatizing events? Or have the events in subsequent fears unhinged our V?
LOST-The journey to regain one's self---X3!!!
Before Lost,I would have claimed "Us" to be my favorite in the series with "Belonging" a close second... but this book! Hell this whole series!!! IMO, the Everett Gaming Series is a MUST-read series! The author's writing brings you into the room with the characters and makes you feel their emotions. I Fkn LOVE that!!! Drew Sera has quickly become an automatic 1-click author for me. Can't reccomend this series enough! ☆☆☆☆☆ Is not enough for this book!
I cannot put into words what this series has done to me. I absolutely loved this series and was looking forward to a happy ending for Colin, Sydney and Anthony. But lord was I not prepared for what happened by the end of this book. Drew had me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was going to happen next. This book is all about the three of them dealing with the aftermath of Sydney being kidnapped and what Anthony did to get through it. I was shaken to the core reading some parts of this book. I literally wanted to throw my kindle. Drew pulls out so many different emotions every book that you read. You literally feel everything that Sydney is feeling and dealing with. You feel the guilt that Anthony is dealing with and you feel what Colin is feeling when it comes to trying to help them. I absolutely cannot say enough about this book. But you must read the first 4 in this series to understand what is going on. But I can promise that you will not regret reading them. They will take you on a whole new journey of emotions that you never even knew existed. Drew has drawn me in and I cannot wait until the next one in this book to see what happens. I can promise you this will be a book and series you will want to one click and you will freaking enjoy from beginning to end. Another 10 star book coming from Drew. Just cant express enough how much i absolutely loved these book and the characters. There is great character chemistry a bond that just cannot be explained and you can clearly not only see it but feel it when you are reading the different things that happen between these three. Grab it one click it .. Get out there and enjoy this series.
This is book 5 of The Everett Gaming series. I was so torn by the ending of book 4 that I was so scared of what this would be like. My emotions were all over with this book. After Colin and Anthony finally get Sydney back after the 2 longest weeks of their lives, they are given even more hurdles in their V relationship. Sydney has more fear of being alone, dark closets and being taken again. Anthony has many health issues to deal with himself, not to mention the ramifications from the Victor disaster. Colin, well he has many issues himself. The most important is trying to help Sydney and Anthony heal, both physically and mentally. In this 5th installment of this series, we find all 3 main characters have to fight their demons and fight to save their relationship. All the characters deal with their own emotional turmoil and question their relationship survival. Friendships are tested, love is tested their V relationship gets the biggest test of all, as Sydney fears they won't want her anymore, Anthony fears Colin won't keep him in the V, Colin fears he's not enough to hold them all together. Each of these characters have so many issues to deal with. Will their relationship stay in tact? Drew Sera has written this brilliantly. So much detail has gone into every page. I felt like I'd was right there going through every scene with them. I laughed but cried with all the emotional pain they go through. You still feel the love they have for each other. The sex is still hot off the charts. I look so forward to the next book in this BRILLIANT series.
This series is one of the finest I've ever read. The story line is compelling. The characters feel very real. I bought the first four as a group and then anxiously awaited book #5. Now I am anxiously awaiting book 6. First, let me compliment Drew Sera on her writing in this series and the editing on these books. E-reader books can at times be infuriating if the editing isn't well done but this series is well done. The book(s) take you on almost a day by day journey from each character's point of view. The three principles are complex individuals caught in some almost unimaginable situations. And they are gut wrenching to read. Book #3 was very tough to read at times. At first, after finishing book #4 I thought I would go ahead and download book #5 when it was released but wait until book #6 comes out and read the two together just because I didn't want to suffer through the long wait with what I knew would be a cliff hanger in hopes of book #6 being the final installment. But I couldn't wait. Book #5, Lost, is just as good as the previous 4 and a little less tense than book #4. I highly recommend this series, not because of the sex or the BDSM but because the story is elevated beyond those two topics to a place of amazing intrigue and love of the characters. Anthony, in particular, has been an amazing character thru out the series. Try this series. I don't think you'll regret it and you'll be waiting like the rest of us for "Ours" to come out!
Lost by Drew Sera is the fifth book in the Everett Gaming Series, an emotionally charged dark series.
Lost says it all. After Sydney's return to her Dom's they are all feeling lost in how to cope and deal with the events that happened in Alone. Sydney has so much to over come but because of her love and trust in her Dom's she is willing to overcome what she has endured, it's not without setbacks that they need to start over with much of her training.
Anthony is struggling even more so between his past, his self destruction and his own emotions which he has kept buried for years that is complied. It was difficult to watch a character you love struggle as much as he does, I wanted to reach into the story and hug him.
Colin is beside himself. Watching him struggle as he carries the weight of knowing what happened to Sydney and Anthony. You him for the first time show weakness when all along he's been the strong one of them all. Colin questions himself and worries if he's doing the right thing time and time again.
Another Emotional read by Drew Sera and I can't wait for the next one to come out!
Lost is an emotional book. I thought this was the last book in The Everett Gaming Series but to my surprise we get one more (Ours). If you haven't read this series you should. Colin, Anthony & Sydney have been through hell but have survived. Their love is being tested and all of them are hurting. This author makes the characters feel real. This is a must read series. I like this author and this is the first series I have read of hers. Even though I like her I will not give 5 stars if I didn't really like the books. When I started reading Fragile I didn't really care for it because it was a day to day writing and very detailed to the point I was getting bored- but I stuck with it and figured out why the author chose to write the book that way. You learn everything about the characters so you understand them and it makes them seem so real that it draws you in. You feel their pain and suffering. If you haven't read The Everett Gaming Series or gave up on it I encourage you to go back and start it again- it will be well worth it.
First let me say why are you playing with my emotions, how could you just leave me hanging like that........ Loved this book, at first I wasn't feeling like I did when I read books 1 through 4 but oh my, the emotional pain that Sydney, Colin and Anthony are going through will make anybody go crazy. Dealing with the aftermath of Paul has definitely put a strain on the relationship that not only the three of them have but everyone around them too. And then to top it off, the aftermath of Anthony's dealings with Victor....... I didn't know what to say after reading the part about everything that happened, I was in shock! Colin has so much to deal with right now and I honestly don't know if he can hold them all together but I guess we will see in Drews next book. Definitely a must read for fans of this series, even if your not a fan yet, you need to become one!
I felt this book could have summed things up, but instead the author kept writing sex scenes to drag out the story. Yes the three characters have gone through a lot and needed each other to heal...it would have been nice to see more counseling sessions, bc after everything Sydney went through she wouldn’t have been ready to have sex with both Doms that quickly. Also Anthony not taking care of hisself got old real fast besides a dom would get checked out and follow doctors orders because it his responsibility to care for his sub. Liked the ending because now you are seeing Colin having doubts that he can help the other two and if he is really needed in their relationship.
This series is like being on an emotional roller coaster! It is intense, heartbreaking, sexually arousing and heartwarming at the same time. Colin, Anthony and Sydney continue on their quest to repair the damage done to their relationship when Sydney was taken from them. They have so many issues that seem insurmountable, but somehow they seem to be working through them. Very time they take a few steps forward they are exposed to another hurdle which takes them two steps backwards. This series is very honest and brutal about the abuse that some people have to endure. Whilst showing that a controlling BDSM lifestyle always is consensual although they provide encouragement to expand limits.
I think this is my favourite of the series, the emotions felt by Colin, Anthony and Sydney are so intense, mixed and raw and Drew's writing makes you feel every emotion with them. I've smiled, cried, got so incredibly angry and laughed through out this book that I felt wrought and wrung out. The beauty and passion that HL37 brought to Anthony's notes had me in tears at words of a lost frightened tortured soul . If I could I would give this so much more than 5*, it's just not enough to convey my love of this whole series
The V relationship of Sydney, Colin and Anthony continues to be tested. Sydney and Anthony deal with both emotional and physical while Colin doesn't know if he can take care of them and keep them together. Can their V survive?
This book is wonderfully written and in great detail. It will send you on a rollercoaster of your emotions. You feel as if you are going through everything with them. This is a book you don't want to miss out on. If you haven't started reading the series, start it now. I can't wait for the next book.
This is another amazing book describing the events after Sydney's abduction. It is heart wrenching and also heart warming, watching, listening to and reading about the intensity of love and care needed for Sydney and Anthony to recover from their physical injuries and psychological torment and also how they and Colin cope with it all. I struggled to read the part when Anthony looks at the photos and recounts the event of himself and Paul, because it was written so well, I felt I was there with him and could feel all of his anguish and pain. Highly recommended!
Wow, wow, wow. What wonderful great sexy series. I was not ready for this to end. Drew could write at least another book or two. I cannot say enough about this series. I fell in love with everyone and I even went to the M& M store while I was in New York and bought some green M&M's just so I could eat some for Sydney. I would love to see this continue to what happens when they go back to Las Vegas. Great and wonderful series.
I just love this series, and it just keeps getting better and better! After the devastation left by Paul, Sydney, Colin and Anthony try to pick up the pieces of their lives together. But Anthony is in his own world of pain, and now it's up to Colin to be the pillar of strength for this V trio. It was so heartrending to see how they were all suffering. Not just them, but their circle of friends as well. I keep hoping they will somehow find their way to peace and happiness together!
I have to admit this siries has totally hooked me to the point I wish that all the books were written so I could keep reading them all in one go round. This is one amazing story from the first chapter in book one to the end of this book, I can only imagine what will happem in the next and the next. I highly recommend this series along with a good stock of tissues.
Wow not only the lost of Sydney hurt them both but Anthony’s visit with the pro dom has him on the brink of brake down. They all feel responsible for their better halves but do not know how to help each other. Can’t put down love the story so much thank you Drew.
This book is all about healing. This shows that it is not all that easy and there are things that can pull us in all different directions. Anthony is struggling and Collin is struggling with his own inadequacies. I am so amazed that they have held it together so far. Good book and can’t wait for the last one.
How much heartache can three people take? Does Colin have the strength when Sydney and Anthony have their own demons that keep resurfacing? Raw, painful and terrifying is the only way I can describe this book. Once again, Drew Sera has made the reader utterly heart broken and devastated. It was like I could feel their hearts breaking and I just wanted to give them all a hug. I cannot put into words how good this series is - it will be one that I will not forget for a long time - but PLEASE give them a HEA....
Now if you haven't read the other four books in this series you really need to. Anthony and Colin are in a V relationship with Sydney. This book brings answers to questions from the last book. But leaves you needing more. This is a great series.
This is an emotional but loving series. I have truly loved reading it even though there are a few editing mistakes, I thought it didn't take away from the story. The ending though has me wanting more... Will there be a book 6? I hope so and soon. 😊
Oh my god, this book was amazing. Colin, Sydney and Anthony's story will make you feel so many emotions. I read this book in one sitting and couldn't put it down. Simply amazing!
This book finds Sydney in the hospital, once again, recovering from her wounds she received while being held by Paul. Anthony is in the hospital hanging on by a thread after being shot in the chest at close range by Paul while saving Sydney.
This is another heart wrenching book by Drew Sera. This shows the steps in the recovery of Sydney, Anthony and Colin as they deal with their fears and the results of their decisions. Their overwhelming love for each other helps them heal emotionally as they deal with their physical wounds.
It takes awhile for them to open up and share everything going on but the end finds Colin feeling like Sydney and Anthony would be better off without him. I can't wait for the next book in the series!
Another fantastic installment by Drew Sera!! This story was amazingly written. I absolutely love the series and the way Drew writes. You get drawn into the story and the characters will touch you in ways you couldn't expect. LOVED IT!!
This part of this series was so open very emotional, heart-wrenching, and hot as hell. This series has had me glued to it Miss Drew Sera has put everything in you can imagine in this book and series. Can't get enough of it needs more than 5 stars.
