Great book. Taught me a lot about how baseball has changed over a period of about 50 years. Also gave me a feel for what it is really like to be a major league manager and how that has also changed over the years. And how there are many connections between players, managers, GMs, and owners between teams. Red Schoendienst has a love for baseball and it is obvious in this book.
