1. So is her dad also a werewolf? How many people in her family are werewolves? If they're all werewolves, why would her mom keep taking her to priest to drive out demons?
2. Ah, I love it when my nightmares set up essential lore I did not know before I had this nightmare. Also, what a strange piece of lore this scene sets up.
3. So Jesus and a Roman poet summon Satan so Jesus can lecture him. A Roman citizen named Lycaon observes this and tries to summon the demon to control him. This backfires, causing Lycaon to be turned into a werewolf who kills his whole family save his baby daughter, who he has to turn when she grows up. Well, that's quite a tale!
4. I know that the art in the scene above is supposed to mimic the simplicity of stained glass, but it just feels so off-beat with the rest of the issue.
5. The next nightmare scene, colored all in blue and black, might be the best work in the issue. I love how stark the lines are against only a few shades of blue.
6. Nikki's mom is a huge b****, but I am glad Gabby and Nikki are friends now. I wish the series was longer so it could focus more on them.
7. Nikki can rock a leather bustier with a zipper in the front like no other, and I'm jealous.
8. Summoning a demon is probably a terrible idea, but let's see where it goes.
