New author, where?!
His Gutta Chic by Nakeria Hendley, was a breathe of fresh air in comparison to most novels. Although, there were several narrators, the story line flowed flawlessly and gave it's readers an in-depth glimpse into the lives of its characters and just how delicately it all comes to full circle.
I try my best not to mention anything about the storyline while giving reviews, but I must say that in part 2, I am hoping that "D" receives his just deserts.
What I love about this novel is that the characters literally talk to you as opposed to them speaking on the story itself. For an amateur writing this story speaks volumes on what the future will hold for M (r)s. Hendley if she continues to write.
I rate this book 5 stars for being such a refreshing read.

Good read
This was my first read by this author and I must say I was impressed a few parts threw me off with the slang but once I got past that it was a really good read I would definitely recommend

So Good!!!
I loved this book a lot.It had a lot of drama,twist turns and secrets that are crazy.I love how Tora and Shod got together and then how Kia and Jaren did.Wow Jaren ex is so stupid and trifling.How you gonna be mad because he wanted to move on because of you.Like it's your fault.Now Wade was beyond stupid he gonna come up missing for real.That ending has me sad for real I can't wait to get book 2 started

Jealousy is a dangerous thing ,this chick is so mad that her man left her lazy butt and moved on that she has her cousins try and kill his new chick, all she got out of that was her cousin killed and shot someone else, but what she don't know is that the new chick and her best friend are hired killers, I can't wait to read part 2
