The Billionaires Club #1

Sold at the Auction

Rate this book
My virginity should have been priceless but the billionaire bought it for his pleasure.

I didn’t think it was possible. Troy Black was a billionaire who didn’t need to buy girls. But at the virgin auction, he bought me and suddenly I belonged to the alpha male.

He made it sweet for me though.
I wore his clothes.
Ate the best food.
And slept in a big, fluffy bed.

But everything came with a price … because the billionaire wanted something precious that only I could give!

Note: Hey Readers — This is a sexy, over-the-top romance that will make your cheeks burn and your panties melt. It’s the first book in my Billionaires Club series, and you’ll love descending into a world of sheer debauchery with dozens of handsome, wealthy men. Of course, there’s a guaranteed HEA with no cheating and no cliffhangers. Be sure to buckle your seatbelt because it’s gonna be a wild ride! xoxo, Cassie.

The blurbs draw me in and then I see all of the other 4 and 5 star ratings so I 1-click and then I'm disappointed. I mostly like the over the top sex even the stuff that has me saying WTF but I don't care about the characters at all. This is my second book by the author and I could be reading a cook book for how connected I feel. I'm in the minority but this is probably my last book by the author.

Sold At The Auction is an absolutely filthy, dirty and extremely hot read!!!
Troy Black is a sexy alpha billionaire who bought Ellie at an auction. It was suppose to be a week of hot sex and nothing else. Not everything goes to plan. Feelings get involved. Who will end up on top?
Fantastic smutty read that I throughly enjoyed.

Sold at the Auction was not a typical Cassandra Dee books, at least not to me. This book was different. Ellie was a virgin on break from her senior year of high school when her friend convinced her to go to a club that had no name and basically in the middle of nowhere. Ellie knew something was up from the moment that they arrived at the club but went a long for her friend’s sake. Her friend was drugged and they both were gagged, tired up and separated. Ellie was sold to billionaire Mr. Troy Black. Troy showed Ellie a very good time but only had anal sex to save her virginity because she was sold against her will. No like all the other girls from the club that was auctioned off. They all got to keep half of the selling price. So, Troy decided to keep Ellie a virgin.
In the end the both fell in love with each other but Troy let Ellie go thinking that was the best thing for her. After speaking with her fried at the end of the week Ellie went looking for Troy to convince him to keep her and take what he paid to have, her virginity. The question is being Troy smart enough to keep Ellie for his own? Read and find out because you will not be disappointed.

The actual premise wasn't too bad. It would have gone over in my mind a bit better if she you know acted at least somewhat like a person who was abducted and saw what was going to happen. I could look past that really though and the minor grammatical errors. I didn't like the whole Daddy/baby girl talk only because it just seem to be thrown in there randomly and then stuck around. An 18 year old virgin suddenly without any prior knowledge likes the roll playing of Daddy/baby girl? Especially since that wasn't how he was first with her--he was more Alpha not Daddy Not to mention "cum slut"...good lord at least books who use that type of stuff know what genre they are writing.

But for me the biggest issue is the constant and I mean constant "Naw"....for heaven's sake "Naw" is so far from the vocabulary you would expect from a billionaire. Doesn't even matter that he worked in the prison system (which by the way is weird anyways). Basically I felt like this book was trying to be something it wasn't. If your main is a rags man is a type person who uses "Naw" then own it. Don't try to force the expensive suit with the undefined bank account with the nice, expensive things. And "Naw" wasn't just used by the main guy it was used by Miles who did the abducting...now that made so much more sense even if I still cringed at it. And really he (meaning the main guy) wants to fatten her up by 20lbs!? I've lost count how many genres this author is trying to put in this one book

I don't believe I will be reading any more from this author. They don't seem to know how to write correctly and actually stick with one genre versus trying to cram in so many. They also don't realize you don't need to actually say "Naw" all the time. For example: "Naw, no need to drag..." just freaking say "No need to drag..." instead of saying "Naw, no thanks" just say "No thanks" or "No thank you" instead of saying "Naw baby girl there are no auctions..." just say "Baby girl there are no auctions..." or "There are no auctions..." instead of saying "Naw I want to see her now" just say "I want to see her now" or "I would like to see her now"....anyone seeing a pattern?? And that's just a snippet of how many times you will see "Naw".

I was hopeful with the concept and this is my 2nd title from the same author. I am always up for 2nd chances and this book came highly recommended for Dee.

Firstly, I feel the "confusion" with flashbacks and backstories of the characters - Elle and Troy. I am frustrated with the unexpected jumping in between current life scenes and "recalls" since it's all merged/imbedded to the paragraphs and chapters. I hate the confusion then I had to revert to get back to the story unfolding right there and then for Troy and Elle. Granted Sold at the Auction is a bit better in fixing this "confusion" with less of it versus the previous book I read.

Story / Plot: I liked the concept and although it's nothing new, I was willing to get into it. I am not keen on how Elle and her friend could be kidnapped and just be okay...wherein infatuation overcame all the weird things that were going on. If that's the case, the author might as well played up that her friend knew it but didn't mention it...and sorted it out that way. I don't know or maybe have them know and just be willing. Taking the kidnapping plot lightly...breezed/grazed on it was not believable for me. Oh well...we continue on.

Characters: Elle cannot be that naive with everything. I can see her a submissive in the making but to have all her emotions packaged so neatly with no regrets (or maybe she did but didn't write anything about it already) and conflicting emotions that are not seen in a 19-year-old girl...no matter how mature she is.

Troy is okay but definitely not an Alpha with how he acts outside of the sex scenes. I understand he is out to impress and his bedside manner is somewhat alpha but the rest is opposite to what he is. I understand him being different when it comes to Elle but I guess I've seen what "alphas" really do even when they do find "love". Good effort though.

Hay, her friend Rachel is another story...but I guess I expected that since she shrugs being drugged, selling herself and finding her mate that will move her a whole new world away can be too crazy for me in such short novel. I'm frustrated with her...truly frustrated.

Wow this was bad

I don't typically like Billionaire/virgin books. I've only ever read one other BBW romance and I hated it because the author kept reminding the readers of the heroine's weight. These reasons however aren't the reason I hated this story so much. I hated it because the writing was horrendous. It was like a 15 year old boy wrote to Penthouse Forum and they rejected the letter and some idiot turned it into a novella.

If a girl was kidnapped and auctioned off, I highly doubt she'd behave the way Ellie did on the dais and during her bath. I don't know any rich people, but I'm certain they don't speak and carry themselves the way Troy did. And how do I say this tactfully...the body part on a woman that is a pleasure receptor does not "wave in the air." I know that because I have one.

I downloaded this because book 3 constantly appears on my KU suggestions but all the reviews said you have to read the series in order. I'm determined to read the third book so I will suffer through. Besides I love to torture myself and I have never listed any book as DNF.

Hopefully the over the top cheesiness stops in the subsequent stories. If there are half as many anal scenes, I will have to bail. Any book where a man is served a "dirty cream pie" and refers to the girl's back door as her "musty hole" is not a book for me. I love dark erotica but this book does not qualify in my opinion. It was gag-worthy nonsense. I was afraid my eyes would get stuck with how often I was rolling them.

With every Cassandra Dee release the question must be asked… can romantic erotica get any hotter than this? “Sold at the Auction”, answers this question by easily increasing the steam factor exponentially. Ms. Dee’s insta-love/lust novella’s often venture into uncharted territory, frequently pushing the readers limits and requiring women to confront their own sexuality. Immersing her readers into a fantasy world of lust and romance, her novels are incredibly fast paced and completely engrossing. With a talent for plot development and creation of multidimensional characters she has elevated romantic erotica to another level. Her novels are proof that intelligent women can and do enjoy a temporary escape into a smutty but sweet fantasy world.

“Sold at Auction”, offers readers likeable characters, an interesting story-line and enough smutty heat to satisfy the most carnal cravings. The hero is hot, the heroine sweet and their journey toward love achieves completion through a heartwarming HEA. Whenever I’m in the mood for a smutty sweet, smoking hot read Cassandra Dee’s novellas always hit the mark!

An Awesome Read!

I loved reading Sold at the Auction, all about Ellie Danes an eighteen year old girl on vacation with her BFF Rachel in Vegas. It's their senior year in high school and it's almost over, so for spring break they decided to go to Vegas for a much needed vacation. So while they were at the pool today, they met three cute guys who invited them to a party tonight. They took an Uber, but when they arrived it looked to be an abandoned warehouse, Ellie was skeptical, but Rachel said I know this is the place because their is Miles so they got out and the Uber left them. The author wrote a very interesting story, that will keep you flipping till the very end! Also their is another story included about to big burly brothers, and just as steamy as the first Read! This author writes great stories, that keeps you, coming back for me every time.

Another holy hotness from Cassandra Dee! When Ellie went to Vegas with her friend for some fun the last thing she expected to happen was to wind up being sold at an auction, but that's exactly what happened. Troy enjoys the perks of being a member of the Billionaires Club and this latest auction he finds himself intrigued by the Girl in Gold, as they are calling her and outbidding everyone else for her. What neither expected was for feelings to develop even though the auction is the last thing Ellie wanted to happen. Ellie and Troy are hot and at the same time sweet, the line he won't cross because of the way Ellie found herself a part of the auction in the first place. Wow, steamy, kinky and hot

Virginal Ellie is visiting Las Vegas and gets kidnapped and sold at auction. She is very lucky that Troy Black, alpha male, billionaire decides to buy her. Right from their first interaction and touch these two light up the pages. Although it is almost a taboo subject matter, Cassandra Dee has written this very well, making it clear that there are rules and guidelines and when things go awry there are procedures to fix them. Ellie and Troy part after the paid time together, although Ellie didn’t want to. Sometimes it just takes a man a little longer to see how special his woman is. Hot, steamy, sexy, passionate, kinky - all those things and a love story as well.

Decided to buy

I read this via kindle unlimited -- it was one of the first books I picked up on KU. Get this book! It might just be the best Cassandra Dee book.

It's refreshing to find a story that starts with a virgin auction and she remains a virgin until the last page.

The bonus stories are all memorable and cover all the bases. Babysitter marries employer - check. Young girl down on her luck needs a place to live and ends up sexing things up w him and his son - check. Virgin bartered bc of debt - check. Successful business woman taken by a stud w a secret identity - check.

Well that was disappointing.

The blurb for this book really got me hooked into it and I thought it was going to be a different type of book then it was.

The story felt all over the place it wasn't like a clear line of this is the situation, this is how they going to fix it and this is the ending. The main female character was a bit all over the place we got sassy feisty fighting back to being a obedient woman.
The main male character also was interesting as he seem to grow morals all of a sudden near the end of the book, but didn't take her seriously when she kept asking about a friend right after he got her.

Troy had no idea who Ellie was when he bid on her at an auction. Ellie was unwillingly thrust into her situation unwillingly, but when she sees Troy, a part of her is intrigued. She's so innocent, but Troy doesn't waste any time teaching her how to give him what he wants. I love that Ellie was so tough and strong through an impossible situation. She's basically Troy's prisoner, but he is so sweet to her in his alpha way. Another fun and super hot read! I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Super spicy but super good. It started off with her getting abducted and taken to this billionaire auction. But her abductor broke the rules because normally when came to the auction of their own free will. Anyways Ellie gets sold to the man in the audience she can’t take her eyes off of. They end up having an amazing week together she tells him she was abducted and he then refuses to take her virginity. He lets her go but of course she comes back. Lots of spice but super good story line as well. Super unrealistic all throughout though which i didn’t like.

Sold at the Auction by Cassandra Dee. First of all, whenever an author flat out uses the phrase alpha male, they’ve lost me. Nobody says that in real life. Hell, nobody even thinks it! And second of all, the conflict was just... no. Didn’t finish it. I keep hoping for a good one soon. This title is free on KU and $2.99 for purchase on Kindle.

OMG! This was one of those books that I actually felt scandalized reading. I absolutely loved it and its few cringe worthy moments. Ellie, a virgin, suddenly finds herself being sold at auction unwillingly. Troy, a member of the Billionaire's Club, want her, not knowing she was being auctioned off against her will. If you love something set it free! A must read.

Great story.

Loved the idea behind the story. When Ellie and Mr Black got together it was always with passion and a longing for the other person. He came to be a true hero in the end when he took care of Ellie. Loaded with great sex scenes and intrigue. Thanks Cassandra for such a great story.

Ugh where to start... Normally I at least try and get halfway trough a book before I decide if It's really not for me, but this, I just can't torture myself anymore.
The behaviour after being held against her will is utterly ridiculous and from there on it just gets worse and worse.
Characters were not fleshed out and the smutty scenes were just a big let down.

What

This is a very young book. Meaning, the author is very immature in the prose and very predictable in the plots. In point of fact, some of the first mini book's plot has already been done ( with some differences of course). Please, you can do better.

Short and blah

I didn't feel much of a connection between these two.

The sex scenes were unbelievable, almost in a funny way.

The trauma was so very muted and ridiculous.

I was NOT impressed.

hummmmm

I gave five stars because it was a pretty good smutty story. however, I found the author wrote in a immature way. the story was overly simplistic, not what it could be. if you ever rewrite it, I'd like a copy.

This book was delightfully different than many books I have come across. Even though the beginning was a little disturbing, the rest of the book was fun to read. I gave this book 4 stars because I feel the story line would have been better if the book would have been longer.

A different story downloaded. Problem with Kindle!

I’m getting more stories recently that don’t match the titles on my Kindle Amazon. It’s frustrating because you waste time before you realize it’s all wrong.
