Hyahhhh!!!

I went in hesitant, now I like dark reads but… I’d heard things about this crossed series( I’ve read a lot of them and I was still squeamish about this one though)… septic types of things. I am pleasantly horrified to know I was not mislead whatsoever. This was dark, gritty, disgusting, and truly nail bitingly amazing. Check it out, but definitely not for the sensitive of souls, or well any souls to be honest… I might be cursed now. Worth it

What amazes me here is after all the brutality and horror and general sick-fuckery, they manage to give a sort of satisfying happy(ish) ending, just like the original did. Our heroine is left with some hope and a pretty sweet set up. I really hope that, just like the characters of the original series, they are left alone to have no more stories and just exist well

Enjoyable

Nothing short of cruelty and violence. Interesting and enough bloodlust to satisfy your wicked thoughts. Good read indeed, wish it was longer.

Ending is rather subdued given all the horror, carnage and family "intrigue" - rape, murder and transformation into physical as well as emotional monsters - that preceded it.
