At the end of 2015, I decided I wanted to tell everyone about the fantastic productivity app, Todoist. I had tried almost all the different productivity apps in the App Store, and none of them really managed to keep me organised and on top of my work and life, and at the same time inspire me to get more work done and stay organised. Only Todoist managed to do that. With its beautiful user interface, logical workflow and immense flexibility, to me this app was the stuff dreams were made of. And I wanted to tell the whole world about it.
But how does an English teacher in South Korea tell the world about an app? I decided the best way to do this was to start a YouTube channel to show as many people as possible how to use Todoist and some of the tricks and tips I had learnt from using it for over 18 months. That channel grew, in fact it grew far better than I ever imagined. I never realised there were so many people who were using Todoist and wanted to get the most out of it. The comments and fantastic questions left on the channel helped me to improve my use and show people more great ways to get Todoist working for them. I am so grateful to all my subscribers. You guys have really inspired me.
What's Included?
In this book, I have gone through how you too can set up Todoist, use all the amazing features and get yourself organised and on top of everything.
We start with the basics of setting up projects and creating tasks, then we move on to labelling, flags and filters. And if that isn't enough, we then delve deeper in the second part of the book and go though some of the more advanced features that will very quickly turn you in to a fully fledged expert with Todoist.

A great guide for using an amazing app. I have been using Todoist for a year now. And using "working with Todoist" channel by the author, I handled many of my busiest days like a god. This book just gives you a great way to slowly master this amazing tool and also you can use the book as a reference. Also, the author is a delightful person. My sub-ratings on the book: Structure: 5/5 Depth: 5/5 Fluency: 5/5 Writing style: 4/5 Page design: 4/5
Fantastic book. Carl's system will change your life - especially if you had a go with the GTD method and found it a little too heavyweight or complicated.
One thing I would say is that books are written and then not updated. Check out his YouTube Channel for updated information that you don't find in the book.
Interessante, non approfondisce poi molto, con il progredire delle versioni di Todoist diventa velocemente meno approfondito. Da comunque alcune interessanti idee e spiega bene la filosofia di base del programma
Amazing book, Short and Compact way to organize your To dos in Todoist, from priorities to labels to special tricks of GTD Carl Pullein teaches everything and very fast! Only some errors/duplicate ideas that will get fixed in next editions. Highly recommended to Get Things Done Productivelly!
Update: Just re-read the book again to get some fresh perspectives on what I should be doing. Easy read, and practical tips...
For me, a great reminder of why I should continue to use Todoist, and not switch to something else. Even though I have been using Todoist for a long time, that were some hidden gems in this book. Highly recommended if you what to get some order in the daily chaos, or if you're already into GTD - read it as a reminder to get a boost, and some tips along the why towards a more solid setup...
