Shadow Work Journal

Rate this book
Don't let your Subconscious Control You!I created this journal for myself to face my shadow. The journal uses activities and guided meditations as I find that is the easiest way to tap into the unconscious. I also wanted to enjoy the discovery process so I kept it simple and even lighthearted at parts. And it worked.I use this program at least once a year to explore the issues that trouble me. Each time you go deeper into your thoughts and beliefs that hold you back. This journal is a great place to start with your Shadow Work and I encourage you to expand on it yourself each time you try this enlightening process. Carl Jung described the Shadow as the unknown side of the personality. These unknown parts cause us to react to stress based on old feelings, not the current situation. Discover these part so they can no longer control your feelings. Imagine if you were able to see problems as interesting challenges rather than feeling overwhelming dread. What you will Learn- Learn to focus on the actual challenges of the moment rather than feelings from the past.- Start immediately and quickly get to the issues that are keeping you Stressed Out.

This journal is an incredibly helpful self-healing tool! My journey with it was not long as I didn't really have a wish to delve into my deepest and darkest feelings (yet) but I'd say I went well into mid-level of it all. I feel a different kind of confidence and self-respect after doing all this shadow work, it's the best kind of feeling! ♥️

More than anything, this is a "workbook". It contains meditations, followed-up by questions like "What have you learned?".
Of course, this is a valuable approach for meditation. For shadow work on the other hand, the writing lacked in depth and mystery and I also believe that it lucks real guidance for the reader.

Interesting little book of meditations designed to get to your shadow self (see Jung for definition) I haven't tried the meditations yet but the premise seems very interesting.
