This innovative book combines the mind-body principles of the Alexander Technique with thorough riding instruction to help riders improve their skills on horseback.
A great little book with some good information on how our thoughts affect our bodies in riding. I'd really like to experience an Alexander Technique lesson for myself the information was very eye opening about our bodies remember our bad habits and we need to retrain them. The retraining is generally small moves, but they feel very strange and large.
Although learning the technique requires hands on from an experienced trainer, I felt like the author could have been more in depth. It felt more like an advertisement than an introduction.
