Nicely imagined worlds and characters but needs a thesaurus
In book2 Gideon ‘smirked’ 56 times! It was so off putting,
That aside the plot had a pleasing central notion and there is room for much more adventure and world building.
He is a little too infallible, but still worth reading on.

Fantastic
i really enjoyed all three of these books and unlike many series, this only seems to get better as it goes along. Well worth a read.
