This One Was Fantastic
4.75 Stars.
For the story and the characters it was definitely a 5 star read. There were a few editing errors but not enough to interfere with my enjoyment. That's why this gets 4.75 instead of full 5 stars.
It has mystery, intrigue, romance and great steamy scenes.
Both mc's were fantastic. I was actually surprised to how great this story was. The book before this was Kane's and I expected more from it than I got. This one was Israel's. I expected less than Kane's but got So Much More!
I love how the series is branching out and increasing the world build with each story. And allowing for spin offs.
Looking forward to the next in this series and continuing reading this authors work.

Loved this book, with the very sweet and alpha H. He is very strong, quiet character. I loved how he was so sure of himself, and sure of his love for the h. She was great, seemed to be a diva but really she was working hard to take control of her life and her decisions. She is a shifter being controlled by magic, and she has a stalker. The H saves her of course, and I loved the magic in this book and how the h's father shows his love for her. A nice epilogue rounded this story off really well

These two had the best meet cute moment ever. No spoilers, but I can see why wolf chose that moment to commit.
But… Israel just suddenly talks all the time. No reason or explanation given. He just talks. And not shy awkward guy either, he’s straight into sexual banter. And no one says anything about this being weird. And then is calling his pack for help? He’s never spoken to anyone outside of Kane before. The continuity errors are starting pile up across the series.
But it was nice to finally see Israel as a full character, not just a background leering guy at Kane’s shoulder. As a bodyguard for Ashley I expected him to take a full protector role, but it goes further than that. He was actually really sweet and considerate. His particular brand of wooing was fun to see unfold as he amalgamated all the random tips he’d been given.

Israel had always been kept on the sidelinrs so we don't really know much about him.
But it became obvious the he and Kane were tight. So as soon as Kane found his mate, Israel would be feeling adrift.
He takes jobs that are considered too easy just to keep his head busy.
His wolf started to look at every female as a possible mate and being disappointed every time it wasn't.
He was drained by the disappointment and thought 8 weeks as a bodyguard to some darling diva celebrity would be perfect.....
.....until he saw her and wolf said "mate"
This was actually a cute story.
It also showed Israel showing interaction with his pack too. albeit via Skype but he does! At first he's mortified they're all there while he's asking for help....but then realises they're there because he's asking for help....thats what packs do......not that the men help much!!!!
It's nice to see Israel's character.
The story of him and Ashley and the stalker threat and how the stalker threat came to be is a great storyline.
What happened with Ashley, her shifter, what her animal is and what happens later with her family is probably epic in terms of wolf lifestyle!!!
I note that Noah is next. the only place I know Noah from wad the job Kane and Raven did and I wasn't left with a good ...feeling about him.
It feels like there's no other characters in silverlake to go with anymore and that is really a huge shame.

A very enjoyable read. Loved the direction this went in and ended up at.
Once again we find a different side of Azrael than we have come to know from past books.
Wonderful story and plotline that introduces more interesting characters. Would love the Malsueno brothers and Harrison to get books too.
Ashley is really something special in the shifter world but has a very overprotective family. Not out of love but more about position and bloodline. All she wants to do is sing and to do that she has had to agree to some severe terms from the Elders and the family.
Unfortunately, she has picked up a stalker and needs a bodyguard.
Azrael is assigned as her bodyguard and knows at first sight she is his mate. There are just a few things standing in his way, Ashley’s reluctance is one of them.
When things turn difficult and Azrael needs advice, the whole pack at Silverlake all do their best to help.
Azrael is not as alone as he believes. I loved that he worked out what Ashley was himself, with some help from Rachelle and Jesse.
I loved how he reacted with Ashley and how honest he was with her.
Lots of humour that I liked in this book. Azrael’s wolf checking out every woman they passed as a potential mate, the way Ashley gave the boys grief as well, tormenting them with sex talk, the stuffed animals.

All of the upper level pack leaders have bonded with their true mates, leaving Israel felling even more isolated. So he volunteers for a bodyguard job to a country singing sensation who has a stalker.
Ashley has fought her family hard to achieve her dream of singing in front of hundreds, even thousands of people. But her family is simply humoring her for now, and she knows they will yank her back home at the slightest excuse. So she ultimately gives in to her managers demands to bring in a bodyguard. But she's a diva princess with no intention of being inconvenienced or dictated to. And when she meets the very dominant wolf shifter Israel, sparks fly. Israel thought this was going to be an easy job. Now he knows differently.
This is a great read. Israel has been a mystery man, keeping to the background, loyal to Kane. He's now set adrift, but he's so much more than he believes. It's a beautiful story, one I thoroughly enjoyed. Noah is up next.

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. The Enforcers Israel by Anastasia Wilde is Book 2 in the Silverlake Shifters spin-off series The Enforcers. I really loved this book. Israel's back story woven into Ashley and Israel's storyline made this read special. I found myself tearing up a couple of times! I thought it was great fun hearing his wolf's search for "The One". To really appreciate this book, you really should read the series in order from the Silverlake beginning through to the spin-off series. Trust me when I say that it is worth a read. Anastasia Wilde is great at giving us strong, hunky shifters that are clueless when it comes to dealing with their destined mates. I especially enjoyed getting to know Israel in this story because you meet him in Kane's story (and before that) but he is a man of so few words that he piques your interest (well, he definitely piqued mine and he was worth the wait!) and gets you wondering why he doesn't speak to anyone. Ashley is an amazingly well written character. There is a lot of passion and thought put into these characters and it shines through! I highly recommend this read and the series. This is a steamy read, so Mature Readers Only please.

Fantastic story about Silverlake shifter finding his mate
Silverlake Enforcer is hired to protect Ashley Silver from a stalker. The reader Moon find the identity of the stalker until at least two-thirds of the way through the book.
Israel is is the enforcer to be a bodyguard protecting Ashley Silver the singer. Ashley appears to be human but she is a shifter that is under a binding to prevent her from shifting in times of stress. The personality of this couple are relatable, sexy, and stubborn. Because of the necklace they find out she is one of the magical draken. Can they be together because of their unequal lifespan. Drake can live longer than wolves. The book has many twists and turns solve the mystery of the stalker. I couldn't believe who was the stalker and what are you was prepared to do.
Highly recommended for a fantastic read about paranormal romance with a twist of intrigue.

Budding country singer Ashley Silver agreed to her strict patriarchal family’s demand to have her shifter powers bound while she chased her dream of being a singing sensation in the human world a fan has crossed the line with unsettling notes and gifts. Ashley’s manager’s solution is that she get a bodyguard or give up her dream.
All the romance in the air with the entire leadership group mating in the last few months, including his best friend, has made enforcer wolf Israel Jonas lonely and anxious to find his own mate though he isn’t certain taking a bodyguard assignment for who will no doubt will be a spoiled diva was a good choice.
For my taste, the outing started slowly with strong characters and wove into a vividly good read, notably when Ashley finds herself in danger and hero theme music can almost be heard at Israel’s appearance. Also, the wide variety of shifters is enjoyable.

Israel is a wolf shifter and an enforcer. His best friend found his mate and he’s feeling a little lonely. He takes an assignment to be a country singer’s bodyguard. Ashley is spoiled and the only way she could leave her family was if they bound her powers. She’s moving up in the music world but has a stalker. Ashley is tired of the men in her life making decisions for her and now she has a bodyguard to try to take over her life.
As soon as Israel meets Ashley, his wolf says MATE. He’ll do anything for her but she only wants to sing. The more time they spend together, the harder she ends up falling for him. There is still the stalker and when he takes Ashley, Israel will stop at nothing to save the woman he loves.
I believe this has been my favorite one yet. Shifters. A little humor. Mystery. Lots of sex. Protectee and protector. A guy who just wants to find his mate. A woman who just want to be in control of her life.

Upon meeting her he and his wolf immediately know she his his mate. Ashley had no idea. She’s a dragon whose powers had been bound by the dragon elders so she wouldn’t “accidentally” expose herself to the public. Israel was forbidden from knowing her animal. Along comes a man who has a crush on Ashley that has become dangerous. And the story continues. There is action and excitement and of course steam. There are sexual scenes that may offend some readers. Otherwise, enjoy!

Hottieguard
Ashley and Israel were so much fun to read. Israel may be a quiet well calculated enforcer of the Silverlake pack but he is passionate and enduring. Ashley as the Diva is so different than him. The whole performing environment is not for Israel but he couldn't get out of it if he wanted to. His wolf recognized Ashley as its mate and that was it for him. This journey for true mate/love was well taken. I enjoyed all these characters and wish it was not coming to an end.
Ashley and Israel were so much fun to read. Israel may be a quiet well calculated enforcer of the Silverlake pack but he is passionate and enduring. Ashley as the Diva is so different than him. The whole performing environment is not for Israel but he couldn't get out of it if he wanted to. His wolf recognized Ashley as its mate and that was it for him. This journey for true mate/love was well taken. I enjoyed all these characters and wish it was not coming to an end.

The situation escalates and secrets are revealed making the situation an almost impossible feat to figure out. Loved the romance, action, dangers and the whole storyline.

What a wild twist that a wolf and dragon could be true mates
I really liked the twist and turns of this story line. Israel and Ashley aren't your run of the mill couple. They are very unique and blessed with magic. They have some pretty hot sex scenes but there is a story not just sex. Its a little different from the other enforcer stories because of the magical elements. But in the end its about finding your one and only love. Can't wait to see what the next book has in-store for us.

I keep saying "that's my favourite of the series so far", but I think they're just getting better with every instalment. Not going to ruin it with spoilers but suggest you read it if you haven't
I read this book as part of my Kindle Unlimited subscription (free book but I have to pay £7.99 a month for the subscription) - but trust me I've done plenty of reviews for awful books on KU, this wasn't one of 'em!

A terrific story
4 1/2 stars!
This was an intriguing and exciting story that I really enjoyed. I am thrilled that Israel finally got the HEA that he deserved, especially after the unimaginable torture that he had to go through as a teen. It was truly a fairy tale type ending, but not without several problems along the way.
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and author.

I was so curious about Israel's story because he was so quiet in the previous books. I needed to know his story. I have to say this was my reread (the first time I read it, it was years back so i didn't remember much) This time I tried the audiobook and it was such a fun time. This author is really so underrated because I know there are so many readers out there who would love to read this kind of shifter/fated mates romance. It also has bodyguard with a country singer trope.

Every book in this series just gets better and better! And Israel does not disappoint. After reading Kane, I was anxiously awaiting Israel. I hoped that it too would build on the momentum the author had going and she did. This is a must read and a great installment to the series. Anyone that likes a little mystery and action with their hot werewolves needs to read the Silverlake Shifters series.

I downloaded The Enforcers: Israel, book 2 of the Silverlake Enforcers, as a free novella from Amazon. There was surprising depth to this novella, with some interesting underlying issues for each of the protagonists. The villain wasn't well-drawn, and kind-of a cop out after the lead up, but a good, plot overall.

Enjoyed this book, thought the heroine overcame her 'Diva' image (for him) once her bodyguard gave her choices instead of telling her what to do. If you understood where she came from and her family then you understood a bit more why she was that way. So is the 'stalker' one of her family or someone else?
