When Pansy enters medical school, she was told to expect the expected. But meeting Chase, a former Connecticut-born lawyer, was not what the doctor ordered. Tensions rise. Together they will take lessons on life and death. Most importantly, they will learn that love has no borders.
Diana Khalil was born in the small town of Port Arthur, Texas. Before entering college, she met her husband in Canada while visiting family. On a trip to Banff, she recalls how he almost fell off a mountain trying to capture her attention. It was then she knew he was the one. Together, they raised five children, three who entered medical school. Today, she is still in Southeast Texas where she lives with her husband, children, three cats, a dog, and a twenty-year-old tarantula.
What an amazing novel! It's about the lives of 5 medical students who come from different backgrounds. They come together as they get through the difficulties of medical school and find acceptance in that world of Type A personalities. There's romance, adventure, and more. I read this book from beginning to end in one setting. Can't wait for more books from this author.
