At the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) we are using Årnes' "Digital Forensics" as the main textbook for our Upper Division Bachelor's/Master's level Introduction to Digital Forensics. This book is an excellent representation of the cross-disciplinary nature of the field. Since each chapter represents a different topic, each chapter was written by a leading expert on that topic. For example, there are several chapters on different technical aspects of Digital Forensics and each was written by technical practitioners of those aspects; meanwhile, the chapter on legal aspects was written a professor of law who has also worked as a senior prosecutor. But even though each chapter was written by a different expert, the writing is still clear, concise and understandable. I would recommend this book to anyone who wishes to study and understand the challenging field of digital forensics.
