I loved West and Malou. One of the great things about the Rope N Ride series is the strong sense of family.
There was so much more to West than his perceived reality star personality. Malou was the one person outside of family who could delve beneath the layers to find the real West. She was strong and intelligent, and it was nice to see the "h" be wary of the bad boy persona. They had such a strong attraction and West was sooo intense.
This was a fairly quick read full of love, loyalty, family, romance, and sexiness. A good read when you want to get away from it all.

I love this series of the Calhoun boys who have become reality stars to keep the ranch afloat. This story belongs to younger brother West Calhoun, a bit of a playboy who seems to get into trouble alot and the cameras love it. He has fallen for the rodeo doc, but Malou doesn't really want part of his world. There was a lot of sexual tension and chemstry between these two and you'll be hoping for their HEA. Can West stay out of trouble and win over his girl?
I love the strong sense of family in this series, they all stick together and make for one heck of a ride. I highly recommend this story. On to the next brother's story now.

West Calhoun works on his family ranch and participates in the reality show that follows the family, as well as ropes in the rodeo. He's also the family hothead and the production company loves him because he's single, hot and a manwhore. He meets rodeo doctor Malou Buller and immediately falls for her - he's not her type, but she ends up in bed with him. And he can't stay away from her! Lots of action with West getting into trouble he's not looking for as well as a side story about sister Wynnona.

Love this series!
West is a cowboy rodeo rider. Malou is part Hopi Indian and rodeo doctor. They are from two different worlds. When they come together though nothing else matters. West is a bad boy. Gets in trouble with the law. A lot. And thanks to the reality tv show, Rope’n Ride, west is portrayed as a womanizer. But all he wants is Malou. And Malou shuns the spotlight. She’s very private. West needs to prove to her that they are good together, that he loves her, and that they can build a life together. Great story. Can’t wait to read the next one in the series.

I loved this book!
West and Malou are wonderful and likeable characters, and the plot has a little bit of everything - humour, romance, cowboys, fist fights....
The main thread is the unreality of reality shows. Scripted, edited to show what the producers want the public see, and how a man's character can be grossly misrepresented.
A great addition to the series.

Another emotional and steamy ride in the Rope N Ride series!!
West may be the wild one of the Calhoun brothers, but when he loves he loves completely! Malou is surrounded by cowboys while working at the rodeo, but no one else ignites her and can get close besides West.
Malou is a strong and independent woman and I really enjoyed reading about her and West's realtionship.
Fans of the series will enjoy catching up with some of their favorites, but can also be read independently.

West has a personal dilemma, he wants to help a friend but, he also wants more than anything, to be with Malou 110%.
He has a bad rap for being the wild one. Malou struggled with who West really was. Was he the out of control Calhoun or, was he really the man he was when they were alone?
I loved how the Calhoun’s made everything work. They come together no matter what.

West Calhoun has gone to extremes a sex tape with buckle bunnies over the holidays, injuring a fellow rodeo rider for dancing with rodeo doc, Malou Bullers. She’d snuck away while he slept and hadn’t looked for him but he couldn’t get her out of his mind. Little did West know, Malou couldn’t get him out of her mind either. But can he stop being a hellion long enough for either of them to make their desire’s known?

"West" (Rope 'n Ride Book 4) by Em Petrova is a fantastic read. I loved West and Malou's story! This is a great addition to the Rope 'n Ride series. This story has romance, passion, drama, close family, hot cowboys, happily ever afters, interesting and entertaining characters, and more. I can't wait to see what happens next! Highly recommend to all fans of romance, cowboys, and series.

Interesting book.
This story is interesting but basically a HEA in cowboy country. Fist fights, drinking sex and puzzling love abound. Not a very good read.

West has wanted to be with Malou ever since he met her. Trying to have a relationship when the TV crews are following you around and people are expecting the worst from you just isn't easy.
Ever since their one night together Malou can't get West out of her mind. She doesn't want to start a relationship with him because she is a doctor. The publicity would kill her career and Wade's habits would more than likely destroy her heart.
A bar fight that was in effect a case of misunderstanding, leads to an apology date. One that West carefully orchestrates to avoid the camera crews. Unfortunately that doesn't end well.
This relationship has much to overcome. The scandals, the publicity, the cameras and so much more. A fun and super sexy read that had me laughing as they hide from the cameras and the fans.

I seriously love the Calhoun family. But I did lose a little respect for Buck, Ridge, Ryder and Lane in this story, they shouldn't have had West take the heat for Jack. Even with his issues, West has become a beautiful, sweetheart of a man. Malou is an inspiring woman. She not only tamed West, she is honest, caring and giving. West has definitely stolen a piece of my heart. This whole series should be placed very high on your TBR list.

West is the next Calhoun to get his story told and oh what a story it is. Wear is a right ladies man and resident bad boy with a fiery temper who loves and protects his family fiercely. The cameras, the show and the fans love him. Malou is the rodeo dr and she is independent, strong, stubborn and madly attracted to West. After one magical night West decides he wants more and starts to peruse Malou but all she can see is the fights, the hangers on at the rodeo, the cameras and what she reads in the tabloids. Will Malou admit defeat and finally succum to West's advances. Will West ever shake that bad boy persona? There are a few surprises along the way one which I predicted quite early on. I even had a few tears near the end as the story touched me. I absolutely love this series and reading about my favourite cowboys and can't wait to see what is in store for Lane.

Cameras everywhere, men trying to protect their own, and twisted accounts of events that are all designed to boost the ratings; this is the life of a reality T.V. family The Calhouns, and West has had enough.
But what happens when the bad boy of the family isn’t really so bad? You find yourself falling head over heels for West, and wishing that you could hold him close and protect him from the misconceptions and lies that are shaping his world.
This would have to be one of my favourite Rope 'n Ride stories and the misunderstood West, definitely tugged at the heartstrings. And trying to convince the only woman he's ever wanted for more than one night that he's worth a chance; well it just shouldn't be so hard.
God only knows what Ms Petrova has in store for Lane.

I loved this story of the TV Reality Show's bad boy. West is a love 'em and leave 'em kind of guy until he meets the one woman he can't get enough of. Malou is working at the rodeo as the Doc, sometimes using her special herbs and oils. She strong and independent and West wants more. he needs to convince her first. It's all kept secret and hush hush from the viewing audience until the end. I just love this series! I am voluntarily reviewing this book given to me from the author.

This was a quick paced read with an intense story line. The characters are strong willed as life proves to be very complicated at times. There is also a strong connection between West and Malou, but can she trust him! Great addition to the series. A must read.

I wasnt paying attention when I requested to do an R&R for this book that it was part of a series. I was able to read this and not feel like I was so lost that I couldnt enjoy the story. Reading West's story has me wanting to read this whole series. I cant wait to get my hands on the test o these books.
