The newest book in The Montana Brothers series is here! Who knew it could be this hot in Montana?
The life I’ve built is pretty great.
I’m one of the most sought after talent agents in Los Angeles. I represent some of today’s hottest stars, while making a ton of money and rubbing elbows with Hollywood’s elite on a regular basis. Parties, schmoozing, and making deals? It’s what I do. I’m a rare commodity in Hollywood… a woman with power.
And I came from nothing. So it’s that much sweeter to have made it.
And where is nothing? Whitmer, Montana. It’s my hometown and the place that still haunts my dreams. As soon as I was old enough I escaped it all; the pain, the past, and HIM.
Hayes Calloway.
We were once just two crazy, small town kids in love. I’ve known him my whole life and he’s the man I once gave everything to. I was positive he was going to be my forever…until a tragedy obliterated our world and my family.
Hayes was part of the collateral damage.
Leaving Whitmer was easy. Leaving him was the hardest thing I ever had to do.
So that’s why I stay away. Whitmer IS Hayes and I can’t go home. Ever.
Until one day, I get a phone call.
The only kind that could ever get me to come back.
One that will ensure nothing will ever be the same.
This is a full-length romance with a guaranteed HEA. No cliffhangers here! HAYES can be read on its own, but reading HUCK makes it an even better experience.
Sarah Acres hasn't been home in over ten years. She left the love of her life and family after her brother was killed while serving in the Army. When she finally ends up back in Montana because her Mom is sick and her Dad is drinking all the time, she's instantly faced with all the reasons that she left. I fell in love with the emotional aspect of this story and learning to let go of that pain from losing a loved one. I also admire Hayes for never giving up on his one true love and for being honest with her...right from the time she steps back into Montana. Love this drama free story with a beautiful HEA!
What can you say about a guy who waits ten years for the woman he loves to return to him? All I can say is WOW. This story is all about second chances and opening your heart to love and being loved. Hayes and Sarah are perfect together and their passion for each other leaps off the pages. I loved Huck and I loved Hayes. Now I cannot wait until Hunt.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.. Sara left the love of her life years ago, but he has never forgotten of her. Years later she returns home and Hayes shows her that he still loves her..Shoot can I have Hayes.
This was sweet and touching, if not simplistic, but I felt the ending was rushed.
Sarah -- a celebrity super agent -- needs to come back home to deal with her alcoholic father and ailing mother. Hayes was her first and only love and in her very small town, he knows she's back in town within the hour.
While the themes here are serious -- death and grief, alcoholism, illness -- the resolution so them are simplistic. Within 15 minutes of having a conversation the dad agrees to rehab?? Life is not that simple.
This is a sad story- h has a good career, but is really avoiding her grief after her brother died. She finds out her parents are also grieving and need help. I liked how she made them a priority, almost too late though. Her high school boyfriend meets her and she finds out they are still in love. He helps her to help her family and recover. It was a bit too sad for a romance. I liked the H, a good man.
Alison Ryan has a definite knack for pulling heartstrings and this book was no exception.
Sarah Acres was an International Artist Talent agent living in California but was originally from Whitmer, Montana. She had left Montana partly to escape the death of her beloved brother, who had given his life in service to his country and in doing so had saved several lives.
Hayes Calloway was the love of Sarah's life and still lived in Whitmer, Montana where he was part owner/operator of a local bar, The Side Pocket, along with his brothers, Huck and Hunt also his Uncle Rick who had raised the 3 since the death of their parents.
Sarah went back to her hometown after nearly a decade when she found out her mother was struggling with MS and her father's drinking. Sarah was faced with seeing the love of her life she had left behind when she moved to California. There was definitely still an overwhelming attraction between Sarah and Hayes which she finally had to admit she did not want to live without and he already knew he didn't want to live without her.
This book is so much more than a second chance romance. Sarah had to come face to face with her grief over losing her brother as well as the reason her father had turned to drinking. I cried through a lot of this book since it his home for me in so many ways. Grief is an evil thing and we don't always deal with it without hurting those we love. In this instance Sarah had left Hayes without her love and her father had left her mother without his love. Oh, they still loved the people in their lives but were hurting so bad over their loss it was impossible for them to see how much they were hurting others.
I enjoyed this book immensely for so many reasons and literally did not want to put it down once I started reading. If you like books that have the ability to make you feel emotions on so many levels then I highly recommend this one. It contains love of family with more than one HEA.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. I gave this book 5 ***** stars because it deserves 10!
This book is absolutely amazing. I confess, I read it in one breath because I actually couldn’t put it down. Sarah and Hayes are the proof that love can last beyond the long distances but mostly beyond years. Sarah has left her hometown after loosing dramatically her brother leaving her long time love behind. In LA she builds a strong career and makes a lot of money. Unexpectedly she must return to her hometown owing to her parents health issues and there she meets Hayes, her unforgettable love. Needless to say that Hayes pours his heart out to her claiming his enduring love. As I write this review I realize how emotional these scenes are because my heart is overflowing with joy. I highly recommend this book because the author encourages everyone that love is the key that makes the world go round. My compliments to Alison Ryan, she wrote another wonderful story.
"This is a full-length romance with a guaranteed HEA" Umm I don't know about you, but I don't consider 139 pages full-length? A sweet story, but seriously lacking in a plot and any sustenance. When you find out why Sarah left Montana ten years ago, supposedly leaving her soul mate behind, you're like "WHAT, that's why you left!!!" Hayes has apparently just been hanging out for the last ten years pinning away for Sarah while she's been making herself in California. So the second she steps foot back in Montana he instantly forgives her and takes on the task of keeping her here. Why didn't you chase after her the first time if you loved her so much? Their is no real conflict in this story, no surprise, no challenges, just an easy HEA. I just, ugh, seriously not impressed. This was a semi-decent way to kill two hours of my time.
Hayes is a quick read. I enjoyed reading Hayes and Sarah's story. We need more Hayes in this world. Sarah has been away from Montana for a decade now. She is called back home by her mom because of her father. She isn't ready to deal with her past but she knows she needs to return home. Hayes has never stopped loving Sarah and will do everything to make sure she either stays or he goes with her. I cant wait to read Hunt's story.
Not nearly as detailed as Huck and the story felt forced, more like a hurry up and get it done because it took so long to come out. Little to care about and invest any emotions in the undeveloped characters.
Hayes is a sweet, sexy second chance romance that's a bit of a tearjerker.
Sarah is a successful Hollywood agent who comes home to Montana after she finds out her mom is suffering from MS and her father is drinking like there's no tomorrow. But, Montana isn't just where her parents live, it's where she left behind the two loves of her life - her ex-boyfriend, Hayes, and her older brother, Kevin, who's buried on their ranch. She isn't expecting to see Hayes again so soon after she arrives home, nor is she expecting how her body reacts just being near him. It's as if she never left, except she did. And in the meantime, he's gotten bigger and more muscular and more gorgeous and he tells her he loves her, has never stopped loving her. But, how can she stay here in Montana with her love while she has a successful career in LA and when she hasn't faced her brother's death?
I really wasn't expecting the tears I shed while reading Hayes. I guess it's the brother thing, I'm really close to my older brother, so the thought of him dying just guts me. And the fact that Sarah hadn't faced his death was just a tearjerker. Aside from the small fact that I kept crying, I really liked Hayes. It's really sweet, low angst (aside from the grief over her brother) and the right amount of sexy. And the fact that it's a second chance romance makes it even better as that's one of my favorite tropes.

Sarah is a successful Hollywood agent who comes home to Montana after she finds out her mom is suffering from MS. She knows her mom needs help and she must get ready to deal with her neglegent father, who has been coaping with the family tragedy by trying to drink himself right into his grave. Going back to Montana isn't easy for her at all as it's not just where her parents live, it's also the place where she left behind the two lmost important men of her life, one is her ex-boyfriend Hayes the other is her big brother Kevin, who's buried on the family ranch.
She isn't expecting to see Hayes again so soon after she arrives home but surprise...she does, also a surprise is how she physically and mentally reacts to being near him again. It's almost as if she never left, except that she did and during that time, he got bigger, hotter and more muscular! Well lets just say it...he's drop dead gorgeous and when he tells her he loves her, that he has never stopped loving her she's almost cant take the feelings that he evokes from her body and spirit. After all she did to move on from this town, can she really stay here in Montana with who she now know IS the love of her life and is she ready to deal with her brothers death or will it once again drive her away from her true love?

A copy of this book was provided to me with no expectation for leaving a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest thoughts and opinions . I am voluntarily reviewing this book I received free. This is a second chance romance of Hayes and Sara. Sara comes across selfish, in leaving her family after the death of her brother by trying to outrun her grief and leaving behind the love of her life, Hayes also. Hayes love for Sara never wavers or fades. Fast forward ten years, yes ten years and Sara returns (she thinks for only a week) to help her ailing parents. Hayes hasn't given up on his love of Sara and must convince her she belongs with him. The characters (mainly Sara) finally progresses to care for others ( though she never really stopped). There was angst that made me cry and this story hits all your emotions, top to bottom, good to bad. I was left with a bookhanger of this story that will stay with me for a while. Four and a half stars instead of five for Sara's inconsideration of others in the beginning. But still a great book to read.

This is second book in the "Montana Brothers" series and was a wonderful story. It was a sweet but definitely an emotional story. Hayes is middle Calloway brother and has a playful streak but his heart has always and will always belong to one girl. He has loved her since he was 9. Sarah loved Hayes but when tragedy struck she ran because she could not stand to lose someone she loved again. This book was very sad because of the death of Kevin. Sarah and her dad struggled with his loss and have never really faced it. They each find ways to not except it. While she ran Hayes and his brothers have been there for her family. Now it's time she comes home to save it but can there be a second chance for Hayes and Sarah? When Sarah becomes the parent and confronts her dad was not only hard but it's what they both need to be able to move forward. I loved the story it was very well written and dealt with tragedy, loss and love in such a great way.
*I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.*
Second chances are never guaranteed. When life crashes around Sarah and she runs from everything that reminds her of her pain, she also runs away from her heart. Hayes is by no means a monk, but his heart is saved for Sarah and Sarah alone. Knowing she'll one day return, he's determined to either convince her to stay or run with her. These two are well-formed and well-matched. I enjoyed Sarah. Yes, she ran because of cowardice, a lack of strength to face the pain of loss, but she didn't cower in the rest of her life. She became a strong woman who had a couple well-earned vulnerabilities. Her commitment to family despite the distance and her willingness to do what needed to be done was admirable. The family's struggle was touching. Having the ever-positive, sweet, and super hot Hayes not just waiting in the wings but actively seeking out more, better, deeper connections with Sarah was awesome. I do wish we got to have his perspective, but Sarah was really the one that needed the page time for her acceptance of her past, change and growth, and reconciliation with everything. Overall their story was tender, sweet, and definitely passionate. They were made for one another and I enjoyed reading their story.
I really enjoyed this book. It had a very strong storyline in dealing with the loss of a son and brother, alcoholism and The MS illness. Sarah left her hometown 10 years ago for California and never returned. When her mom calls and asks her to come home to help with her dad's alcoholism and her mom's MS, she drops everything to return. Upon returning, she finds out her dad was brought home an hour ago by her first love, Hayes Calloway, and her dad is sleeping off his drunken state on the couch. When Sarah and Hayes see each other for the first time, it's a little awkward but the chemistry is still there. Neither one can deny the love they still have for one another and Hayes is determined not to lose her again. This was a very sweet, emotional story with strong characters and deep issues. I loved it! I received a free copy of this book from Booksprout for my voluntary review.
Sara ran from the memories of her small town when he brother died a hero saving others in combat she couldn't stomach the memories but in running she left behind the man she loved Hayes. Now ten years later she is back for a visit her mother has MS her father is an alcoholic and Hayes has never got over her. Sara comes across as pretty self centered her family need her but she is basically washing her hands of them and she will just keep on putting Hayes through the ringer Hayes is much too good for her. She needs to wake up to herself. After that it is a well written story that really draws you in. Sara is just frustrating.
I was given an ARC copy of this book but this is a true and honest review
Sarah is a high powered Hollywood agent who comes come as her mom is ill and her dad is not comping. He is drinking himself stupid instead of dealing. One major problem is home is where she left the 2 men she loved the most so it’s difficult for her to do this. One is Hayes and the other her brother who has passed. She is hoping not to run into Hayes but it happens rather quicker than she expected. She does not realizes how she would feel when she saw him. He is sexier and bigger than she remembers and he says he still loves her and has never stoped. Will she stay even with all that comes along with staying?

OMG this book was such a wonderful read, You have Sarah who left her hometown 10 years ago and has never returned She left so much behind especially her heart. When she gets a call from her mom that she is needed at home Sarah cannot say no. What she wasnt expecting was Hayes and how seeing that man again after all these years would affect her. Hayes has never forgotten Sarah, she was the love of his life and he made a promise to himself that if she ever came home again he would do everything in his power to win her back. This book was so emotional on many levels. I cried my eyes out during the wedding when Sarah heard; her brother Kevin. I LOVED this book, It may be a quick read but OMG it was so beautiful. I cannot wait to read about Hunt and Huck now!
This second chance romance is about Hayes and Sarah. A quick read that packs an emotional punch. Long ago Sarah abandoned her parents, her hometown and Hayes, her high school sweetheart, after her brother was killed in action. Now, ten years later, she must return to help her parents and face the man that never stopped loving her. Can she finally heal and make peace with the past in order to embrace the love that has been waiting for her? A touching, heartbreaking story of loss, grief and the ripple effects of our actions. I'm posting a totally voluntary, honest review after reading a copy of this book.

This was a sweet quick read for lovers of second chance romance and this is the first book of this series that I have read. The characters Hayes and Sarah Beth had a past and quickly found their future. I thought that the plot was a bit rushed and that the characters could have been developed more but overall it was a good read. I was confused in places when the characters were in their heads thinking about the past but was able to recover quickly. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.
Hayes was a very good person in general, but Sarah always had a place in his heart. They were perfect for each other and I can't believe how much time they were apart but their feelings for each other never changed. There chemistry was off the charts and so so good. This book will draw you from the very first page to the last page. It was very heartbreaking to read in places, but you could definitely feel love pouring out of the pages while reading this book. I can't wait to read the next book in this series.
This is the first book of this series that I have read, and it is a perfect quick read for lovers of second chance romance. The characters Hayes and Sarah Beth had a past relationship that started as childhood friends and evolved to young lovers. A tradgedy made Sarah Beth leave for Los Angeles only to return after 10 years due to family commitment. Hayes never forgot her and when she returned, he pursued her reminding her what was special between them. Overall it was a good read. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.
I really love this series and the opening quote pulls me in every time. This book is enjoyable, a fast pace second chance romance that is funny, has amazing dialogue, extremely steamy with hot off the charts chemistry between Hayes and Sarah. I was pulled in from the beginning of the story and was kept on the edge of my seat the entire time. It is an emotional heartwarming story that will keep you turning the pages. Looking forward to the next book in the series. A recommended read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Let me just start by saying where do I find me a country boy. This book was absolutely perfect. I couldn’t get enough of a Hayes. He was charming, kind, and loving. It made me want to be from a small town.I loved see Sarah’s growth throughout the book. As well as showing that no ones lives are perfect. I definitely recommend this book. Well worth the five stars.

Ok so this is a second chance small town romance She ran away as soon as she could years ago and has had success in her job and social life but not in love. He is the good ol boy that she loved and left and he is still there but changed when she gets back I won't tell you how they get there but let me assure you this story has a great HEA that is enough to make you crave your own.

This is the second book in the mountain brothers series. 10 long years Hayes had waited for Sarah to come back to her childhood home. When she finally did after her mother's plea for help he had no plans of letting her go a second time! Sweet, sexy and full of so much emotion, I couldn't put it down. 💋
