Lane

I love this Calhoun family series full of rodeo cowboys. In order to pay the bills they are followed by cameras each day creating a reality tv show Rope N Ride.
This is Lane's story and his love for an older woman Delaney. He falls hard and yet the producers would rather he paired up with young bimbos for better ratings. Delaney and Lane sizzle up the pages of this book, the difficulties in place for a mature woman with a college son, actually it's more about what will other people think. Lane doesn't give a toss about age, its just numbers, he sees what he wants and goes for it. Will he family be on board and give this couple their blessing? We all love a HEA.

Youngest and last single Calhoun brother, Lane is tired of the cameras and notoriety that’s come with Rope ‘n’ Ride. And when he sees Delaney Monroe near the family cheering him on loudly, he’s certain whatever he’s looking for she has it! Problem? Of course, Delaney’s his sister-in-law’s aunt, who has come to help with their fertility issues; she’s mature, guaranteed to upset his fans and the show producers and; her son wanted to be Lane’s playmate, one of them was nine!
Delaney’s just as smitten with Lane and keeps trying to convince herself, their age difference is a huge stumbling block for a romantic relationship and sex would complicate both of their lives too much. But it’s off season and she needs help on her small ranch and he’s just the man to lend a hand.

This is my favourite of the series so far.
Lane is personable, mature for his age and damned hot. He wants out of reality TV and the rodeo.
Enter Delaney, an attractive, late 30 something midwife.
Sparks fly between them, the attraction is mutual, but Delaney is worried by the age gap.
Can Lane convince her that age is just a number?
What effect will their families have on their journey to a HEA?
This well written and well plotted story answers all these questions and more.

"Lane" (Rope 'n Ride Book 5) by Em Petrova is a great read. I loved Lane and Delaney's story. This is a great addition to the Rope 'n Ride series. This story is full of hot cowboys, passion, romance, rodeo, family, new beginnings, happily ever afters, and more! I can't wait to see what happens next in Wynonna's story. Highly recommend to all fans of romance, hot cowboys, close families, and series.

Loved This Story!!
One of my favorite storylines is older woman younger man, and this story fit the bill! Sexy capable cowboy Lane and beautiful midwife and mom
Delaney. Delaney certainly has her reservations falling in love with a younger man, but Lane quickly shows her he’s no young boy. He’s strong, capable and in love with Delaney. Loved how this story unfolded. The resistance and final surrender. Can’t wait to read the next one in this series,

I really like the Calhouns. There is always that strong sense of family, love, and loyalty.
I enjoyed this particular book because of the older woman, younger man theme. And, none of that Calhoun hotness and sexiness was lost with this book. I also like the twist thrown in with Brant.
I am looking forward to Wynonna's book.

Lane's story is pretty tame and loving. He knew what he wanted and went right for it.
Delaney had some legitimate fears dating someone so much younger than her.
I loved that Lane battled those by just being Lane.

Lane is the next of the Calhoun's to get his story told and Oh Lordy what a story it is. Lane is starting to question what he is doing with his life s he is sick of the reality show, rodeoing and the whole media storm. All he wants is peace and quiet and to work on the ranch away from the cameras and everything that comes with it. He meets an older woman who just happens to be Kashley's aunt Delaney and his interest is pipped and he feels he needs to get to know Delaney. As their friendship grows so does their mutual attraction to one another and we witness their struggles to make things work.
Will Delaney's son and the Calhoun's give their blessing. Will Delaney get over the age difference and be happy.
I loved this book and love reading about the whole families exploits and how they still feature heavily in each book. This series keeps getting better and better and I can't wait to see who is up next.

Well, it finally happened. Ms Petrova paired one of the Calhoun’s with an older woman, and the result was her best story yet in the Rope ‘n Ride series! After reading West’s book, I thought this series just couldn’t get any better, but I was happily proven wrong when I started Lane and Delaney’s story with all its many layers.
A wonderfully written account of the difficulties faced by this unique couple; not only the age disparity, but their very different lives and the responsibilities that come with family, rodeo and T.V. commitments too. Lane is a man torn by the pressures of his public lifestyle, and Delaney is a woman with a grown son, hell bent on denying the intense attraction she has for this virile young stud.
Ms Petrova has succeeded in dotting all the I’s and crossing all the T’s in her telling of the judgement they face and the obstacles that may tear them apart, but through it all, their passion is explosive and their hearts are on the line. This is definitely a one-sitting read, so get comfortable with a long cool drink and crank up the AC too!

This is a sweet way to wrap up the Calhoun boys. Lane's life choice is a nice twist. He's so carefree and romantic, and so damn sweet. Delaney is so strong, yet so weak when it comes to Lane. She's a very enjoyable character. The story is charming, entertaining and fun, and made me smile a lot.

Couldn't put this book down as the final Calhoun brother finds love and happiness. The characters are strong and determined individuals but have a strong attractions to one another. It's a quick read, fantastic addition to the series and I loved it. Can't wait to see what this talented author has in store next!

With each read I am falling for the Calhoun's and finding out more about them. I didnt start with book one so I will have the joy of back tracking and finding out more about this family. I hope that this book wasnt the end because I cant seem to get enough.
