I guess this book is fine for an audience that has no knowledge of what a macronutrient is. If you’re even moderately familiar with flexible dieting, though, this will be disappointing. I was hoping for something more technical in the vein of Layne Norton or Eric Helms. That’s not what this is.

This book is largely a recipe book. I read through them, and some of the macros didn’t even look correct, which is kind of crazy given the topic. How does a quesadilla with a whole wheat tortilla have 2g of carbs? Makes no sense. Don’t think I would recommend this to anyone.

A very easy and clear book to follow that helps you keep within your daily diet calories and macronutrients targets. The explanations of how to calculate your targets are easy to follow, as are the scientific explanations for what is healthy and what should be avoided.
