Caitlin O’Roarke studied the man behind the glass—a man with no identity or place in this world—a mystery she meant to unravel. His eyes seemed to bore through the glass, staring straight at her, giving her shivers of fear and something unidentifiable.
She didn’t realize by taking his case that her normal way of life was about to come undone, and that his claims of being a vampire were completely true.
A love of the dark and mysterious spurred Celeste's imagination through her teens and into adulthood. She was always reading a horror book well into the night. It was only natural that she captured those stories swirling in her head down on "paper." And she's been loving every minute of her new writing career.
Born and bred in Louisiana, she loves setting books on her native soil and most especially loves writing about those sexy Cajun men.
Celeste loves hearing from fans. Readers can email her at celesteanwar@yahoo.com.
Caitlin O’Roarke, a woman that came from an abusive and dysfunctional family has tried to better her life. In the process, she has become worker in the mental health area and is now a case worker for mental illness. One night she goes in to see her latest patient, Vasile, and finds that he is unique. He is either delusional, the victim of a cult or he is a vampire. Not believing in the supernatural, she decides that he must be one of the first two.
That idea lasts until he is able to find her home and come in where some other being, Marias, has already come. She runs but he finds her again and informs her that he killed Marias in her house, and that he turned into ashes. When she goes back home, she finds ashes and a destroyed living room.
Despite her fear she find herself captivaced by Vasli and her life is neither the same. Everything in her future will be based on her relationship with this new part of her life.
Once again, my recommendation has to be with my interest in vampires and how they might function in a world where human beings are the primary creatures. Also that situation would have to deal with the idea of how they might manage to live and perhaps even love together.
